@@KwikBR yes, I would rather live with the knowledge I wasn't involved in a murder than know I directly caused the end of someone's life. Sorry bro! Much love.
@@KwikBRYes, Because if we were liable for the death, We might get a lifetime in prison or death row, So your just gonna be the one to suffer anyways...
@@nightmarelmao8645 not really unless your case is unrelated. You wouldn’t be responsible for anyone’s death if you don’t do anything, unless you’re the one who put them there
never let em know your next move: pull the lever and when the train is on the tract for the 1 person immediately pull the lever again to make the train non-functional
@@yesb_00 If you would seriously rather murder 5 people than lose your money, you should be locked up somewhere. Because that's the priorities of an actual psychopath. You would rather END 5 lives, + ruin likely 50+ affected peoples lives like children who would lose parents or parents losing their kids, all to avoid YOUR life becoming difficult, or having to start over with your savings, just because it happens to be people that you don't know personally. If money is all your care about maybe you should think a little bit more realistically. You don't think that the people and families you just saved, would have give you the gratitude, attention and support to get back on your feet? Considering you just saved their lives at the cost of every penny you had? I suppose an absolute madman like yourself wouldn't be able to picture kindness and good things coming from selfless deeds.
I might sound crazy but for most of them, I just let the earth do its thing and dont change anything. The train going for you is your fate, and you cant change fate.
Most Philosophers agree though that if you let the trolley hit the people then you are morally clear. But if you switch the trolley you now murdered who ever it kills. So from a moral standpoint you should not pull the switch
yea, but if you dont pull it you will still be involved in the murder because you couldve saved 5 peoples lives, yet you decided not to and let the trolley kill them
@@scrippted that is not how it works. Not doing something to prevent murder isn't a crime especially if it involves murdering another person which then you become directly involved in.
But the guilt of living with the fact that I had the choice to save the lives of so many people but instead chose the life of one person like myself is something that I can't handle.
I asked my friend if she would pull the lever on the first one, she said no. When I asked her why, she replied with " because the people on the train want to get somewhere"
Honestly it doesn't matter what you would hit. It wouldn't be your fault if you just letthe train keep moving. But if u change the course that means your directly causing a death
I would do this thing: 1. Change track 2. Wait until the middle of the train is on the track changer 3. Change track again Effect: one half of train has splatted one person, and another half would splat five.
