If you fire your hull MG first you can still fire your main gun on your tanks.If you double click your units they jump to a point and speed game play up.Hopefully they will have airpower and artillery in the game as well.

Interesting to see aspects of the game not 'visible' in the free demo version. Overall quite a positive impression, but I find it a bit of a stretch when Tommy Atkins' still valiantly advances despite the four other members of himself section having been shot.

Does the game have the ability for units, especially machine guns, to aim in a certain line in order to catch enemy units moving across that line? Without such an ability, the turn-based nature of it basically would be no different than teleportation, right?

No, there's no opportunity fire in Troop, but the game is so bloody good without it..:)

No opp fire, instead you play it like a chess game having to anticipate enemy movement which is still great fun..:)

Well, it was the US who did the most. Maybe why the games aare mostly US.

Sorry to break it to you but Uncle Sam didn't show up until 1942. When you did make your appearance on the battlefield it was a fuck1ng embarrassment. Your own generals in 1944 didn't trust their troops to withstand the best German divisions arraigned in Normandy that task was given to the Britsh, Canadians and Poles. You might want to try and read a few history books before commenting.
