Here's another solution, since I'm a single queue player who likes to do ranked team games as well: have a minimum level requirement for ranked team games

The best system would be to have people who are queuing together in groups to find other people in groups first and then pair them up against single players if none are available. Shouldn't be too hard to implement but it would be a coding decision by the company to do.

Patch tomorrow should try to fix some of the matchmaking, here is hope

It's not clear to me what happens when a player leaves. I've heard that another player gets control (and gets double their points and availability) but then numerous times we see the AI takes over. Has it changed with a patch?

Recent patch made it so a Medium AI takes over instead.

Another point is your a streamer who needs to provide his stream with entertaining content, so super easy games like this are bad content and at worse a waste of your time/money. So the match making doesn't work for you. But as mediocre player and individual just playing the game, with no one judging my content; easy games like this are just easy rank points and well welcomed most of the time.

I really don't get those flamethrower squads in support. The infantry squads with flamethrowers have their use, but a dedicated 2 man squad for 100 m flamethrowers is terrible. They really should buff the strength and/or reduce the price.

I mean you can't really expect every person to have someone to play with. It happens in most competitive games. You are either paired up with a couple people who are good or bad.

Well new players shouldn't be playing ranked straight away, but most players who have played for a while might not have any friends to play with. So I understand that pepole want to play with other pepole even in 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4.

The fact the other person is relying on only me not failing (highly likely) is what creates the pressure in 2v2!

I can understand your frustration with the matchmaking, but honestly, it looks like the same issue most multiplayer games seem to have - inexperienced players jumping into ranked/competitive modes without knowing what they're doing. The 12thSS player completely ignored the collapsing flank, and bringing in recon planes? Obviously it will always be hard to a random team to beat a team on comms, but it's also down to the players to play better individually, such as the games you've had with randoms where you ended up pushing together and supporting each other even without comms. More people just need to watch your videos to get better haha.

Yeah I mean to some degree I get what you're saying, and that can often be an issue at like the start of seasons so to speak, or the very start of ladders. But I think the bigger issue is the fact that the game seems to have an awful ELO system or it needs leagues within the ladder IE Bronze, Silver, Gold etc.. It also shouldn't match two solo players versus a two man team, which Vulcan points out himself. The rank system is just messed up currently. Admittedly as you said anyone who even uses recon planes also obviously doesn't know what they're doing, and considering the amount of games Vulcan has under his belt his ELO rating should in a good system be way harder than someone like that as I imagine they have to be pretty new.
