The new images of Neptune look uncanny. I thought it would be weird that their colour be so different as they have such alike composition.

Some paint mixer somewhere is now having to seriously rethink "Neptune blue". Also, many people are like "Neptune is bland and boring" but I think it's a very pretty color.

Another thing to keep in mind is that because Neptune receives 1/900th of the sunlight Earth gets, it wouldn't look this bright at all. It just looks much more muted than what we are used to.

The truth is that it seems interesting to me that the two planets are actually almost identical, only that Neptune is less pale than Uranus, which already seems discolored. According to what I saw, the reason is that the images of Neptune were oversaturated so that its clouds could be seen better. and possibly to differentiate them because they are almost identical, which makes me look like an idiot because I had a drawing of the solar system and I colored Neptune saturated

TBH this has been known for several years since this can be seen from hubble images of Uranus and Neptune as well as in the photos of many astrophotographers, but this oxford study brought a lot of attention to it. Though tbh these oxford recalibrations look a good ammount less saturated than even the hubble and astrophotography photos which makes me doubt how accurate the colors shown in the study actually are. Venus is also just a white featureless ball and not orange/beige/yellow at all as it is often potrayed since it's completely covered in sulfuric acid clouds which are white just like water clouds... Though they are technically a very tiny bit pale yellowish but it's really hard to see, it's pretty much as white and featureless as a cue ball. The images that show Venus clouds to be more featurefull and colored are false color orange+ultraviolet composites instead of RGB. The most famous depictions of many of the solar system planets are not very accurate to the real thing when it comes to how they would appear to the naked human eye.

Based on Wikipedia images prior to updating, Neptune is paler than the early images, but bluer than the reprocessed images, while Uranus looks more desaturated than both images.

How is it possible? Me and millions of people saw uranus and neptune with their own telescopes, all of us can confirm that Uranus looks like Uranus, light-cyan color. But Neptune looks like a deep-blue, just like in the Voyager 2 photo. So it might be that i am confused but it doesnt make sense to me

This science update sucks really. Uranus and Neptune no longer look unique. Also, it's a good thing I didn't by a MOVA globe for Neptune since the color requires a (negative) update.
