I was privileged to see this live at ChosenCon. Amanda was such a great guest. You guys did an amazing job interviewing her. We are all blessed for it and I'm full of gratitude.

I happened on this interview at the Chosen Con, but I'm glad to see it in its entirety now. It was excellent. Amanda is an amazing woman. She is a great partner for Dallas, and a fantastic writer!

I too watched this live, and I must say that Amanda's willingness to talk about sweat pits, and boogers makes me love her all the more. I think most women can relate to this feeling of unworthiness due to imperfection. I thought then AND now, way to go Brandon! How did you find that Good Reads quote? It was such a great way to see how Amanda felt before the Chosen, and to bring about conversation as to her change over the years.

Hello everyone

It's so refreshing to hear Amanda speak to being guilty of putting Jesus into our culture and assuming that because we are this way, that He was the same exact way. I don't believe the authentic Jesus was 'white' with blue eyes and long straight hair. I'm glad to hear Amanda acknowledge the time it takes to remove oneself from those deceptions that have been passed on through time. Although I dont believe they've gotten everything 100% correct, I still enjoy The Chosen's depiction of Jesus, His Jewish-ness, and His disciples. The diversity of ethnicities displayed on screen is a huge step in the right direction! 😊 Glory to God that He is a Spirit who seeks those who worship Him in Spirit and in truth, no matter what color Jesus' skin was. That Spirit shines through regardless of how we depict Him. He died for all of us. He is for all of us and I love Him 😊
