It is true that the prophet (pbuh) weared a silver ring this is the sunnah but believing the ring offers protection is 200% shirk, than It is no different than a amulet. No one and no thing can protect you only Allah swt. Do not ascociate partners with Allah because It is a grave sin and will lead to the downfall of those who do it. He is the one almighty and praised that he is. Ghair inshallah

Its common sense, you eat paracetamol when you sick but believing the pill gives you the healing is shirk right? Because Allah does, the same applies to this. Different gemstone has different frequencies and vibrations, in medicine field people use different hz material in their machines. The problem is when people think that gemstone is nothing but just a stone and has no other property or benefit to it, the same people can think banana has potassium that is beneficial for human. Just know Allah does not create something useless.

If you fall into a pit and a man comes and saves you and you believe he saved you this is 100% shirk. Because it was Allah who saved you through that man the same applies to the Quran it’s Allah who helps you through Quran and by other means.

@313LoveTheAhlulBayt salam I get what you mean, but it is still very true that we have normalised many things that are shirk, the eye of Fatima for exemple, the objects that we say are "protecting us" can easily lead to shirk since only Allah is protecting you, we are relying on another source if we think that an object is going to protect us.

I am Shi'i Ithnat3ashari and I wear a silver and aqeeq carnelian agate ring like the Prophet(sawas) on my right ring finger. Tabarak Allah. It is from Yemen which is a place blessed by the Holy Prophet himself(sawas). I ordered it on Etsy for around $60US and I lost the first and second one and I bought a third one the same exact one.
