I believe its the standard exhaust, possibly stainless steel but i will have to double check. I think the postioning of the camera being right next to the exhaust pipes makes it sound a lot meaner than being inside the car. I'm a new owner so have much to learn and many more miles to cover and enjoy that fabulous sound track
@@Hear_You_Are ah yes it's mainly too do with the firing order more than anything else more musical than say rover V8 or Chevrolet, only other engines with same glorious rumble are early Buick nailheads up to 1966 , and old Holden s.
Pretty much all stags are stainless exhausts.. The mild steel have become extinct. Also most silencers have FA sound deadening material within the muffler box… and rely upon just the tail pipe muffler . People seem to prefer this arrangement except myself.. I have had the mufflers made with the sound deadening material filling in place and it sounds great and the ears get a rest
..and pretty much this sound experience as well as the piece of timeless art is the head turning thrill when driving this iconic car says just about everything why I feel a million dollars and miles away in head space from the eco warriors, boring diesels…the Tesla drivers The Boy races with their nitrous oxide Shitty sounding Beta Male Hatches.. laughable!

Instead of worrying about the rusting hulk in the garage and sat in a coat in my own house, looking at the heating bill.. I have a modest run about parked on my drive and I am writing this from a beach in the Maldives… You enjoy your haram of vehicles 😂

@@MrDodgedollar It's ok, I get it. Similarly the thinking behind the pension argument. I used to do an 80 mile a day commute (and others much longer) in my LPG Volvo. I'd spend about £2400 a year in fuel, I do the maintenance so the only other costs are paperwork ones. In the grand scheme of things, it makes no sense to go and buy an EV "to save money" and I absolutely did think "should I just bung this into pension instead?". Both have merits, on the one hand is the fiscal responsibility and on the other is the "but I want it" because I might die tomorrow and have never experienced what I wanted to anyway" emotion. House is paid off so some irresponsibility beckoned ;) The Stag is one that my father bought in 1976 when it was a year old and I went on the test drive. It has therefore remained in the family since then. My other cars are ones bought and paid for along the way that i'm bad at getting rid of. :) Mauritius sounds like a plan though! :D
the Triumph V-8 a notorious crappy engine. Sounds like a powerboat or a F-150 truck and that is not a compliment.. I'd prefer the sound of Alfa Romeo's V8 of 2,6 l every day of the week.
Then why don’t you tune your radio to the frequency you like .. or are you the sort of strange person who goes to an Italian restaurant and asks for a Curry
