AMAZING!!! was really hoping you'd line up the second "The lights are on but no ones home" with them realizing he left his house, but still loved it!! the bit where you had "what is he building in that painted lady" over him connecting the picture of the woman that tried helping him escape was incredible! I never would've thought of that!!
We need more bright and cheery suburban horror movies like The Truman Show. Great edit, it really did both the movie and the song justice. I'm glad I'm not the only one to associate Suburbia Overture [and really the whole Normal Album] with The Truman Show.
This is like corn mash and soy sauce, a mix of two oddly specific things i love but I've never noticed they'd be so good together. Nice edit I absolutely loved it!!!
Congrats to this video for being the reason for getting me to finally watch The Truman Show. Absolutely amazing movie, I’ve always heard nothing but praise for it but it took me this long to get motivated to watch it.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA A JIM CARREY FILM IN WHICH I ONLY KNOW FROM HYPERFIXATING ON LIAR LIAR FROM HYPERFIXATING ON WILL WOOD WITH WILL WOOD?????????? OMG THE STARS HAVE ALIGNED
I've been thinking about doing an edit like this for 2 years. I'm so happy I'm not the only one who's had the connection to this song and The Truman Show! (Great job btw)
One summer, my family went to the beachside town where The Truman Show was filmed. I was young at the time, so I just thought of it as a vacation at first, but something about the place seemed off, even though it was quiet. Clean. Nobody on the streets. It almost felt like all the lights were off in all of the houses. The place was so clean, in fact, that there were never any leaves on any of the paths, except for one time - when we saw them, they were being swept off by a hunched-over, exhausted-looking cleaning crew, dressed in muted colors. We never went back there.
having had obsessions with both The Truman Show and Will Wood/The Normal Album, i was never expecting to find them put together. you've done it in such a cool way.. this is splendid!! thank you :)
THIS IS SO FUCKING GOOD!!! I love this movie and this song fits so well, especially the part you put over the escape scene. Going against the grain and getting splinters is the plot of the movie... ough
I watched Truman Show only because of this edit And what can I tell you, its a masterpiece. Thank you for being the last straw for me to watch this great film
was really curious to see how vampire culture would fit into this, but you pulled it off really well. (also my favorite movie+my favorite song?? is it my birthday or smth???)
