Decent video but I'd love to hear some tips for beating the night sweats when you have to actually stop, some people have to stop for job interviews and such. Tapering down helps a lil bit and people say CBD bud helps but I want better. There's gotta be some kind of tea or herb or supplement that helps

I smoke everyday multiple times flower/dabs but I mainly smoke dabs on my proxy or peak pro I'd say about 5-6 dabs a day when I do smoke flower it's not as often and I smoke it in joint/blunts I probably been smoking for close to 12 years now and I've stopped smoking for a month maybe more and I've NEVER experienced physical withdrawals from not smoking weed like you said it was 100% mental for me where I'd think "this sucks I wish I was high" nothing more than that I can't say the same for when I quit alcohol I definitely got withdraw from that so when I hear people say they get withdraws from weed I tell myself that clearly I'm "not smoking enough" or haven't "smoked long enough" everyone's different though so I guess that chalks it up

@@king-kunta8194 I take a bong rip in the morning usually, a 1g joint to work that will last me up until home time around 4pm, then I’ll probably take a few dabs, shower, hang around for a bit and smoke a joint or some bong rips then go to bed

Had a homie who’s withdrawal story’s sounded like minor alcohol withdrawal symptoms for about 10 days (he just dabbed like a maniac ). But lowering slowly helps my withdrawals a lot . (Edit: He was nauseous all the time vomited had diarrhea couldn’t really eat or sleep .)

Yea I'm diagnosed with ptsd and I find I have horrible nightmares reliving some shit I went though in my teens mid 20s I'd rather just not dream at all if it's not a good dream

As someone who had issues relying on weed every night for sleep, and went through awful withdrawal, it’s nice to see that weedtubers are upping the content on using thc responsibly and safely. the fact is that it’s not just 100% a miracle cure. Learn how to find alternates to deal with whatever issues you currently use weed for, and keep balance and moderation! That’s the key!

Great advice! As a mostly recreational user, my simple rule is no smoking before 5pm even on weekends. If someone wakes up and immediately gets a drink, most people would call them an alcoholic, but somehow people normalize wake and bakes.

Your method worked in a single day for me, I gotta say though when I was working construction it was way easier when high. If you smoke all day but you smoke a small amount, you get normal levels of baked all day. It's when you start getting so high youre slightly uncomfortable. It lasts way longer too.

Great vid. When I've suffered through withdrawals I can't eat or sleep, I'm moody and my whole digestive system is just a mess for a week. Now I make sure I never ever ever run out of weed lol. Cheers my friend!

After a more than a decade of heroin addiction, smoking got me thru and i now habe almost 9yr clean from the junk. I quit smoking 6yrs ago after i was getting to 2-3g a day dab hab and just recently picked it up again about a month ago. Dang just a dab or 2 and im great or a joint too. But its only a couple times a week. Thanks for the content!

I love how anti-weed propagandists use the whole "Gateway Drug" argument for why wee is bad and it's like, not only has this been proven false, but the amount of people that were able to use weed to get off of objectively worse drugs is mind blowing. It's crazy how these people would rather have you take suboxone or whatever to get off heroin and just have you addicted to suboxone instead....

I started following your advice? Best thing I've done for myself in a while. I stopped smoking during the day, and I noticed a difference in the first few days. Great advice man! I'm not good with moderation, but the payoff is worth it. I was sick and tired of only getting "medium" and didn't want to take a tolerance break. It makes so much sense, and I'm trying to convert friends as we speak 😄

This lines up with my personal experience. My first couple years of smoking was quite a roller coaster. I was in that boat of smoking all day everyday. Tolerance breaks went the same for me, I felt nauseas, no appetite, restless, hard time sleeping, anxiety. I found through trying different methods and diving deep into my habits that I needed to reduce my use more slowly. So I tried that and found out that If I waited longer and smoked less, I would get the high I wanted and not suffer these withdrawals so much. I also found out that, for me, smoking before eating really wasn't a good idea. I think that's what causes most of the upset stomach feelings and loss of appetite when you're off. I would eat too much with an insatiable appetite when I was high. So getting high on a full tummy is a better idea, you'll be less likely to eat your entire pantry lol. Love the videos, Cewpins! And your philosophy on consumption. P.S. I also found that taking a CBD oil tincture helped ease my withdrawal symptoms with good results, for anyone suffering and needing something to make it easier.

This advice is some I feel like everyone should hear, I totally agree I was taking a large amount of edibles daily and I definitely noticed when I didn’t take edibles I had the withdrawal effects you described and since switching to only smoking at night before bed and not taking edibles and it’s helped my tolerance tremendously. Thanks for the killer advice as always, since subbing to you I genuinely am having way better seshes.

When I stop I definitely have withdrawals not from being off the weed but from not feeling normal and feeling strange. The symptoms I would be treating I'm dealing with and that shit pisses me off.

Awesome video. Love the lifestyle advice. Reducing dependency and daily use is key. Other things that might help with the withdrawals while cutting back or taking a break... 1) Agmatine is OTC, used by bodybuilders, significantly helps with withdrawals. There are research papers and testimonials supporting this. 2) Ginger extract for nausea and endocannabinoid stimulation (get a proper nootropic extract like one from ndepot etc). 3) Bacopa extract to appease the opioid aspect of cannabinoid withdrawals, and to ease anxiety. May also help with neurological support post drug use of any kind. (I prefer a nootropicdepot style extract, but bacopa will probably help out regardless of the form its in) 4) Magnesium supplement for energy and to ease withdrawals. Mag depletion is a big part of cannabis' impact on the body. 5) Use a sedating nootropic or even an otc or pharmaceutical for the first three nights to sleep. Consider micro dosing cannabis before bed the first few nights as well. Peace.

This is 100% true. But I can’t credit you for giving me the idea or showing me this. Life forced me to smoke this way. I’m a single dad that works 50+ hours a week. I’m able to get either a bowl or a dab in the morning. And some days of the week I can actually get a little smoke Sesh in the evening the rest is a bowl or a dab before bed. I’ve been smoking all my teen/adult life(35) and I still get RIPPED when on this schedule. Love the information and advice. Cewpins gives the world, keep it up, brother!

I think when people reduce their overall consumption, they notice more dreams. But also some people just don't dream as much

There was a study done, I'll link it if I can find it again, that looked at the density of cannabinoid receptors in the brains of stoners vs people who've never smoked. As well they followed the receptor density throughout a 28 day T Break for all the smokers. Two big things I noticed: even after a full T break, the receptor density of a stoner will never get back to that of a person who's never smoked before. Granted it's not a HUGE difference, but it's statistically significant. Also, by the end of day 4, about 80% of the receptor density was gained back. So say after a full T break, the density was 100 and before the T break it was like 40 (random numbers). By the end of day 4, the density was at 88. So if you absolutely need a T break, I would say do 4 days and then when you come back try to moderate yourself

My lung collapsed and when I got back from the hospital my withdrawal anger plus my nightmares and It made me realize I was smoking 2 ounces of dabs every two weeks and I've quit cold turkey trying to stay healthy but it made me think about everything at home and how my parents have treated me and other traumas it felt like a pile onto a pile of stress and then the anger lights the bonfire and you gotta calm down it sucks but I have to let with 3 mire cysts in my other lung since birth just never knew

The appetite lose is brutal!! I lost 10 pounds in a week! A tip to combat this is to track your calories for the day, eat foods you are able to consume. Drinking meal replacement drinks, high protein and caloric foods like nuts and yogurts.

I coincidentally have been following your idea of only doing it after 9pm and it's kept me going for ages. 6 months later I have a really high tolerance following the strat and can't reach those higher levels anymore.

yea i only smoke from 6pm to 9pm, i still found i wasn't getting as high anymore, i took 2 days off and it sucked ass man , just wide awake all night trying to force myself asleep, cold sweats, the day isn't bad its just when i slept, so i tried one more night off and it was even worse, like how does one wake up at midnight wide awake, not groggy or anything, felt like a slept 10 hours and are good to go but been sleeping for only two hours. anyways 6pm hit that day, took some oil, started smoking bro i was crippled. like i had to go to bed early i was that high, so taking weeks off is a lot, 48 hours is all i needed, but i got so high i was like damn my tolerance is gonna go back up after the first day because i felt so high, next day i took less oil and smoked less dabs, still got over whelming high, now i got to learn how much to take after taking the breaks, but ill be honest, them withdraws sucked

I used to smoke lots, and tolerance breaks were riddled with withdrawals. I switched to dry herb vapes, and tolerance breaks are way easier now. I've been going hard with my terp hammer and proxy but haven't experienced the withdrawals like in the past. I'm currently 8 days sober.

The tolerance fix helped me after 2-3 days; the first day not smoking until late really sucked and I had all the withdrawal symptoms, but they eased up day 2. I also moved my time up to about 5pm because I don't stay up til 1am like Cepws ;D

The dreams when you stop smoking are freaky as hell. One I had was of a guy whos face looked like Squidwards sculpture after Patrick sat on its head. Another one I was in WW2.

Regardless of whether or not tolerance breaks work or not I reckon it’s a pretty good idea to take significant breaks periodically here and there no matter what. Even if its just to reset your mind and body.

the dreams/nightmares feel vivid and kind of feverish in my experience. weed suppresses your REM phase or the rapid eye movement that plays a role in dreaming which is why you don’t usually dream when you smoke. it’s kind of like, overstimulated when you do eventually stop though

CBD flower also helps with resetting your tolerance faster, makes for a good substitute for the wake and bake until you want to get high at the end of the day

The sleeping thing is so severe for me that I have been awake for nearly 40 hours multiple times when taking a break. It is absolutely ridiculous, and it truly keeps me on it. I know there are plenty of potential solutions but I just choose to continue smoking because I enjoy it either way.

I would also caution people who take "tolerance breaks" to really take it easy when you do smoke again for the first time. Your muscle memory will have you just take a fat rip just like you were doing when your tolerance was too high, and if you haven't smoked in weeks, you could green out (be uncomfortably high)

So I live with severe depression. Weed helps a great deal with my anxiety, suicidal idealism, imposter syndrome, negative self talk. So I get "medium" and "not high" but medium beats low for me. I still think this is great advice and enjoy your content.

I’ve literally sat at my works washroom toilet throwing up constantly going through withdrawls, felt so fucking sick had to take the week off work couldn’t get out of bed for weeks from withdrawls. It’s crazy, this is after 7years of daily smoking, bringing my bong everywhere I go

I think tolerance breaks are nice from time to time just to reset my habit. Me and my gf took a month break at the beginning of the year and it was really nice to have a completely sober month. And when we started back, WAY less weed got me Way more high. I smoked a little baby joint and it knocked me on my ass. Made an 8th last 2 weeks between the 2 of us after that where before we were going though a half ounce in 2.5-3 weeks. That being said, your tolerance methods is key. I've always preferred keeping my smoking to the evening until I have done everything I need to for the day. It keeps the tolerance low and saves you lots of money.

The nice part about Night Smokes, is that, I may not wake up high... but the pain relief and anxiety relief still lingers throughout the day... and by the time pain/anxiety starts to creep back, it's time to start getting ready for bed again.

I am a heavy smoker/dabber/edible abuser and never had withdrawals from taking a break of any kind ever, but then I'm an ex heroin addict and I expect real symptoms, ya know like cold sweats and crapping myself, so I'm used to far more self abuse. I only ever had anhedonia and not much else when I stop.

Lucky you. I haven't been able to sleep straight threw since I hit 30. Now I wake up dozens of times, and have to pee at least half a dozen times.

I just stop when i have to work i used to smoke at work all the time but not really anymore cause after im done veing high being tired sets in and i become apathetic so about 3 to 4 days off and im good to go on my days off

My personal experience. As someone with insomnia already, being able to sleep when I want to is impossible without weed. Furthermore after using it for so long, now I’m afraid it would take at least a few days no sleep. Or maybe an hour of sleep. I’d have to callout from work to do it and still keep sane. Personally the discomfort and sweating is the worst part. Can’t even relax because no matter how you sit or lay down it feel uncomfortable. Any time you try to watch a show or play a game it is impossible to focus or even enjoy it. Oh yeah and the nausea is very bad too. Gabapentin withdrawal was very similar but instead of having energy I was very tired and always sleeping.

Just wake and bake for a few days. Make that your only dose of the day as well. I treat it like a caffeine withdrawal. You can just low dose the caffeine to get rid of the withdrawal symptoms (for me it’s mainly like a headache). The biggest problem is going to be trying to get your sleep normal. Sleep supplements works well for this, you may have to go to the bodybuilding supplement store for the sleep aid though. Not illegal, it’s just such a niche product where the bodybuilder formulated ones are typically the most effective.

Also, what helps with tolerance is to have a few strains on hand and smoke different strains regularly, bud does have different effects strain to strain.

Last time I tried, I was able to fall asleep very easily but was irritable if I was bothered. And I woudk have very vivid nightmares that would wake me up with anxiety

In my experience having withdrawn from legitimate "drugs" I've never felt anything more than troubles falling asleep or maybe at my times of super heavy consumption possibly some slight irritability.

I always get insomnia and really tripped out dreams kinda like acid trip/nightmare when I can finally sleep. I've been making sure I don't get high more than 3 times a day and my withdrawals have gotten less intense. Moderation is hard for a former alcoholic.

do you just feel like better quality is a good fix, too? i find myself on my stuff from baysmokes not very potent, ill have to smoke .5-1g to even get to the point i like, but then BOOM, no longer after 30mins to 1hr, and i like to enjoy my time until i sleep after 9, too! do you have this issue, ever? losing your high too quickly? is that why you smoke sesh for 4-5 hours after 9?

no withdrawal gang even though i smoke allllll day daily ayyyyye i feel like thats something people should recognize as an issue in and of itself. having side effects from weed instead of finding something else that will help with your issue that weed helps with. use the fact you have withdrawals to open your eyes up to the problems you need to solve. thats why so many people believe weed is a psychedelic, it alone can have significant impact on your perception of the world yourself your health and well being and so on.

Use to smoke a water grav every day about 5 times a day for years then had to get clean for probation got locked up I get night sweats and I'd get a feeling in my legs that bugs were crawling up them and they would just randomly twitch especially in my legs it got so bad once I've taken like 4 night time pain relief and still didn't do anything

Recently I stopped smoking for a few days, on the 2nd day I had such a realistic daydream it was scary; borderline realistic. Never happened before like that and I daydream often because of my ADHD so I’m always somewhere else mentally. Crazy stuff happens on T breaks.

I smoke 1-2 bowls a day out my bong saves soooo much product. I can stretch an eighth for a week or more. I went from smoking 3-5 blunts a day for just the experience of it but its such a waste just for a satisfying stick that burns slow.

for me the no appetite is hella relatable id feel really hungry and make a huge sandwich or something and as soon as it’s right in front of me id just get really nauseous thinking about eating it or id take a few bits and feel full
