It is absolutely magnificent watching someone being honest and ethical in their statements. You don't promise the impossible or try to sell something. The Internet needs more content creators like you covering various topics (diets, mental health, exercise).
I found your channel when I clicked on the video about how moisturisers are a scam. I've wasted so much money over the years since I was a teen and I've been wondering lately whether I've actually got anything out of them, really grateful to have an actual professional confirming my suspicion
So happy to find your channel Dr😀 new subscriber. Can you please make a video on stretch marks the ugly ones too👀😁how to get rid off or if we even can. thank you again for all the info
A really nicely put information 😍, since you have tons of information about it , I would really appreciate if you tell us whether it is a completely halal procedure?

Hi doctor. My name is Sakshi. I saw all your skincare videos. It's really great n helpful. Just wanted to ask i have acne scars from the last 2 years now it has worsed. I tried dermatology but it did not worked do know where exactly the problem is. Now i am taking ayurvedic and has made a strict changes in my diet but still it the same. Though i know it will take time. But still it's not that much effective. What is your recommendation..also tried few doctors none medicine worked out. What's your take?
Hi Dr Syed! Could u please recommend some products or ingredients in products to remove under eye and eyelid lines and texture? Not sure if what you recommend will be available in India
I am from the Middle East, and grew up with elders. There seems to be a sanitization of aging in the western world, which in my opinion is sad. We age for a reason, what’s the point of fighting it and looking odd like some of these celebs. This whole marketing behind the beauty industry is frankly scary to curate this amount of fear from aging.
Well the anti aging research has been doing really well and the first person to turn 160 years old has already been born. The answer to the puzzle however is not in some marketed cream
Your so right :) i came across this video looking for acne treatments as I have severe acne now that I have reached my 50s and it is painful and unsightly. But I think people who over do Botox and other cosmetic treatments look terrible. You loose your character, your trueness. It’s sad that people are so worried about their looks and feel that looking “perfect” is beautiful. No way, there is nothing more beautiful than seeing natural beauty in people, it doesn’t matter what we look like as your soul shines through and people can see the true and real you. I must admit as I have aged and after years of loving the sun, my skin is bad, it is sad to see my youth fading away, but my youth was just one part of my life and I looked healthy, natural and happy In my youth and it was a wonderful part of my life. However my children are grown now and the time comes when growing old becomes a time when we wear our lives on our face. We see the hardships or the stress free lives we have lived, it’s like a badge and I look like I’ve worked hard, (tired lol) smiled a lot and my smile and laughter lines are something I’m Proud of because my smile has reassured a lot of people and shown my kindness and made so many laugh. I’ll grow old gracefully and wear my lines with pride. There is so much more to a person than the skin on their face, if people think this is not the case then I feel very sad for them as they have missed out on the true essence of living.
i am from the middle east and am probably one of the few of my cohorts with lines on my forehead. Everybody i know is botoxed and fillered to the hilt!!
Dr Sayed I have been struggling with PCOS, then dysthymia , severe anxiety and now allergic asthma ( the diseases just keep compounding).I find it really hard to get out of bed. Many say if you want to feel good, you must look good.I even tried 10 step Korean routine but found it neither fulfilling nor sustainable.I got so disillusioned that even cut my hair short out of self hatred.I saw your Skincare Minimalism video and thought of giving it a try.Days go by without looking in the mirror, There were days I did the 3 step without getting out of bed.I am so regretful of the person I have become that I can't even look myself in the mirror.I few days back I glanced at the mirror. My eyes got fixated .My face was shining.I stared at the mirror, I felt like I had found myself after A VERY LONG TIME.A thought crossed my mind- Why did I cut my hair in the first place ? For me to be able to think that, feel like myself again AFTER NEARLY 8 years is a big deal and that too without any medication.Thank you for giving me hope that things can get better and that I am capable of having a routine.Keep Educating us Doc .Wish you all the happiness in the world.
the fact that you still had a skin care routine going through all that and then there me who cant stick to one and no disease is holding me back ( besides depression)
Thanks so much dr usman for the authentic informations and your sincerity ..your channel is such a great gift please keep up what you are doing..don't quit your videos about dermatology and skincare 😊
What a relief! Thank you for telling the truth about the dishonest and misleading practices amd patterns in cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Sayed! May you live long and prosper in your loving ways!
Everything fades, but it doesn't mean we should give up on mantaining what we want when possible. A clean house gets messy, our health deteriorates, everything - but humans strive for making things last.
Amen to the message at ~10” mark! Bravo! I’m over 50 and doing a bit here and there but found the most bang for my buck is an updated cute haircut ( out of your realm of expertise I believe, lol) and staying fit! Btw, I’d never let you hold anything fragile…ever 🤣🤣
So cool to see you make more videos debunking myths! You mentioned the essential products for clean skin. I'm curious what are the essential products for treating hair?
Will add it to the list! Although it’s not a subject I’m a huge expert on (we know about hair/scalp health, but more in a medical condition way rather than general skin health/texture way)
100 % agree with the statement to do less cosmetic procedures. I work with geriatric population and I see horrible results from overdoing Botox in elderly ladies. And I notice how beautiful ladies who choose to age naturally.
My dermatologist uses Dysport, she tells me it follows a more European school of thought which apparently is more “natural” 😂😂😂😂😂 I had never heard of people injecting so many odd places 😂😂😂 Takis! 🇲🇽

So pleased that you did another video. Watched all your previous videos and was sad when you released your LAST video..which was super entertaining and informative..lol So pleased you changed your mind.
Had a face lift but my fat pads in my face are still falling lower in my face. Filler is an option but I’m am concerned that it may have an inflammatory effect on auto immune.
ive read that its been shown that botox migrates into your brain (or at least it does in tests on mice), true? and is that a concern for the future? thanks doc, your vids are very informative.
It's a neurotoxin, the whole idea is that it influences your brains. Just be sure to realise that in science most people see the nervous system and the brains as 1 system
Hi.. Dermatologist to be InshaAllah, from Pakistan. Yours videos are great and fact based!! Thank God somebody come up with the consequences of these injectables 👏
I love these contents, Usama! Finally a derm that's doesn' have product placement all over the place. Just pure educational and evidence based "lectures". Love it.
yes to botox and definitely a no to fillers. if you will ever decide to do a facelift these fillers can definitely be a problem. botox in your 20ies is a no.
I have one question , my skin is dry but I get big pimples sometimes painful one on face , but with time when it vanishes it leaves mole on my face , so each pimple is like beginning of new mole ( so many moles on my face ) 😢💔 flat moles and they all are due to pimple why this happen ? Can you tell me ? & what I have do for it ? I will be thankful if you guide me 😊
I had Botox injected once by a dentist & looked WORSE! I had it in my forehead, which dropped my brows, & in my crows feet, which made my under eye wrinkles look more pronounced. Needless to say, I was devastated. They wouldn’t inject my platysma bands because my “throat could close”. It’ll be a while before I trust another injector. Lol. One cosmetic surgeon on RU-vid said to try & look 20 years younger than your age in order to “not look weird”. If your 60, try looking 40, if you’re 50, aim for looking 30 and so on…Thoughts?
It's a hype lol. Asian people age extremely well naturally. That's why, if they market themselves as having great skin due to products, it is believed. The science is not different in Korea. They use the same ingredients and the same marketing.
Still not convinced that filler doesn’t spread and become entrenched in different tissue areas so if it ends up being a problem for someone it’s hard to get rid of it. Also if someone has auto immune surely filler could make this exacerbate. Botox I’ve had and it’s great.
Please do a video on breast enlargement, I read there injection method & the other is surgery which most people do.. please a detail video about side effects, does it work & what happens during pregnancy
Salam, I am new to ur channel and found it really very informative. I would like you to give us some information about sunscreen. Why it is important? How long one application works and then to be re applied? What should we look for while buying a sun screen?
Doc, please make a video on laser treatment. People in my country are all hyped about CO2 fractional and the likes without much knowledge about the procedure, which is a chance for clinics and spas to swoop in and make all kinds of promise about the efficacy of the treatment. I myself just paid nearly $4000 for a procedure just to find out later that my conditions (ichthyosis vulgaris + keratosis piralis) are hereditary, but the clinics made all kinds of promise to treat my conditions completely within 5 sessions of laser treatment, and I just bought into that and couldn't be more regretful. Thank you in advance, doc! I'm already a fan of your very straightforward and bullshit-free channel.
Dr. Usama, I know this is off topic. I suffer from an itchy scalp every day especially in the winter. It can drive a person nuts. I have to wash my hair every other day. My dermatologist says I need to wash it every day since I have an oily scalp. She notices I get suberic dermatitis patches on the scalp. What is the best shampoo for this condition. I heard Nizoral is good, but not sure if that is the answer. Any advice would help. Thanks for the great videos!
This has nothing to do with Botox lol just hoping my comment will reach you. Would you be interested in making a video on cystic acne? I have always struggled with this and idk if there’s anything on the market to treat this or if I should just get medication to control it from my derm. Ur videos are a big help!! Thank you : )
I got botox for the first time less than a year ago and I love it. I've done it twice already. I had really deep 11s between my eyes and it just made me look angry all the time. Botox has softened my facial features and smoothened my skin. But I agree. Do your research and go to someone who knows what they are doing!
Keep making content about skin. Wonderful to know directly from pro. Well done explanation 👍👍👍👍👍 Aging is my concern right now.. Btw, about callus on foot, is over weight matter to worsen it? Jazaakallah khoyron
Hi dr..off topic but I have been getting constant styes on my eye (never occurred before) since I started using tretinoin( I don’t use it on my eye area)Is it somehow linked to tretinoin? Should I stop using it?
Don't forget about great effect from botox on local exessive sweating for examplein armpits, hands, feet. Can really make a big improvement on life quality
This video is great! Really appreciate the honesty. However, I want to add something REALLY important. I found out from a trained nutritionist and scientific studies that Botox actually is linked to Alzheimer's disease due to it blocking a chemical called acetylcholine. People with Alzheimer's are found to have lower levels it. So please bare in mind that there are potential long term risks you are taking with Botox and there's more to it than 'there is no immanent danger with it like with filler'. When you 'freeze' nerves there are serious changes that happen in the body and the brain... Just thought I'd share what I have found that made me reconsider injections:) hope it helps!
Dear brother. I have atopic dermatitis. And allergy. Non steriod creams only work when I apply them regularly. When skin clears and I stop using these creams, eczema returns back.
Can't wait for that hair loss video. I'm trying to put my own hair loss protocol together, and if it's anything like your acne video, I know it will be concise and useful.
Ive heard that preventative botox is best up until mid 35 age. But why is that? The doctor also says in the vid that you can of course get botox after 40s, 50s etc but it wont be as helpful. Why is that? But it still helps with preventative yes? If it helps but not at much, just how much less does it help??
