I too have the 2022 Honda CMX 1100 DCT and I have been shopping around for a replacement for the “suitcase” (stock) exhaust , but the prices here are crazy!!! Thanks to your video demonstration, I have ordered this with no baffle from Amazon and asked the seller very politely to ship it asap! Also, I have a can of “High Heat” Matte Black Spray Paint for the exhaust just in case there’s any imperfections on it. Told you last video how to sort out the pipework... Blackwidow or LexTek, Africa Twin headers, a grinder and either a Caberre tip from eBay (£32) or a LexTek MP4 can if you want something quieter? Spend you cash on a DNA filter and a Dynojet PC6(were $300 today-Black Friday), that'll get it going,downpipes are restricted!

I just received my delivery of this exhaust today, and I can’t believe that it only took 17 days to get here!! I can’t wait for the weekend so I can get this puppy installed! I went with the No Baffle option, so it’s basically a straight pipe exhaust! But it sounds great at the lower RPM’s! 👍 🇺🇸

Do you have, or are you going to make a full ride video with this new exhaust system so that it can be heard in all gears and rpm’s?!?

How does a more open exhaust effect engine life and power? Are you trading one for the other?

Russell, I must have watched this video at least ten times and thanks to you I purchased and installed the same “Amazon Special”muffler! I have to say that for me, this “no name” brand muffler is awesome! However, I purchased some Rust-Oleum High Heat Matte Black spray paint, and I touched up the area around the header and pipe joint so that everything looks uniform. Also, I installed some metal temperature resistant “badging” on the side of the muffler near the tip and now the muffler really stands out! Another words, I gave the muffler a name! After months of steady use, I believe that this muffler is going to last for quite some time! Will you make a long term video update of your muffler? Cheers mate! 🇺🇸👍

Got the same exhaust. Besides the smell of the paint heating up on it, I think its okay. Put around 500 miles on it. Honestly though, anything is better than that stupid muffler they shoved on there. I don't mind the sound of s sewing machine, I just dont want my bike to sound like one. I have the same problem with every other exhaust I can get here in the states as you though, too much money for maybe slightly better backpressure and a name stamped on the side when I've opted for a better seat and feel like its the better choice.

Any issues with decel popping with that one?
