Quality from the start. Short, to the point, a video designed by an Athlete for Athletes. Well played. Some key points from this (I suggest everyone reading this to still watch the entire video) : - Pushing yourself from the comfort zone is what makes you a Top Player (Athlete/Creator/Engineer/Artist). This means pushing yourself to try out and discover new healthy things that will benefit your craft, working longer, smarter (Learning from what you did), and ultimately harder. - Discipline >>>>> Motivation. That's the ultimate fact. - One important aspect that is underrated is being surrounded by like-minded individuals (Or even content/follows on social media) that are a real motivation to push further, but more importantly, still showing up and sticking to the resolutions when these aren't around. I'll finish with a José Mourinho line : "There is a difference between a top player and a player that has moments" -> It's consistency.
As someone in a dark place with football right now (not a lot of college footy offers, injuries, etc) this is exactly what I needed. Thank you hector much love bro
I disagree, I believe discipline creates motivation. People always downplay motivation, but it is actually an incredible tool. Imo, discipline = higher chances of motivation
what are you studying currently? it has been difficult for me to just pick a major because I’ve been told soccer isn’t the only thing i can do in life and pick something else but my passion for soccer is something I want to keep pursuing. any advice?
First of all thanks for the support and hope you enjoyed the video. The thing I like the most about being a division 1 athlete probably has to be the environment I get to be in every day, I’m surrounded by beasts so I always have to push myself to be better and get better or if not you get left behind. One of the toughest things I faced this year being a division 1 athlete was probably getting redshirted just not playing any games and feeling like your not helping the team gets to your head and at the beginning it did but then k learned to use this frustration and turn it into energy and desire to play better and get better for my next season!! Hopefully that answered your question❤️
Yo hector do u have any recommendations for me to get better. I’m 15, a freshman and play club soccer. I want to make it pro but I’m far from it. Im skinny and small and I want to make my dreams
