Farlight is the Definition of Wasted potential. Back when it was first released and after playing few games, i thought how is this game soo good. The jetpacks made this game stand out from the rest BR games. I forced all my friends to play F84. Everything went downhill when they decided to rework Carnivale without anyone asking. -They changed Maggie's OG voice even tho it was the best she ever had. -They changed heroes abilities even though they were balanced and unique. -They changed every fkinnn ability without a proper reason. Like i grinded for months and you're changing the abilities for no reason?! Not only you've wasted my time and effort but you've also wasted the money I've spent bcuz i loved those heroes. After reworking their abilities, i feel like they've completely ruined it. And the biggest DOWNFALL. REMOVAL OF FARLIGHT'S HEART. The Jetpacks. I was soo frustrated when they're reason for jetpack was "it's hard for beginners" Yeah, like you were running the moment you were born. What a STUPID DECISION AND EXPLANATION. I can't even comprehend my frustration that day. They'e trying to copy Apex because they want Apex's Fanbase. So what about your Fanbase? What about Farlight 84's Fanbase? You've only reached here because of us you dumbshit ! According to "ActivePlayer.io" 90% of players quit after the Removal of Jetpacks. The Jetpacks, The Heart of F84. It's been 4months since the Removal of Jetpacks. I installed the game today just to 'see' what other stupid changes they've done so far. And WOW! They didnt disappoint! They nerfed Movement & shooting so bad its like you're playing a completely different Game! Remember when we used the 'Vertical Jetpack' and we could select guns and shoot whilst in Mid-Air? I can't even do that too! (With Lucinda btw) They've changed the weapons mechanics of all sorts of guns for no reaosn. Man, its soo shit rn... I cried after playing a few games remembering how good PEAK Farlight was ( before Carnivale Re-work ) They won't listen to the Community no matter what! Its cuz of their Ego and Pride! Fine then, remember! "Consumers dictate Market" You wont listen to the community? No problem. Tons of BR games are coming WZM BloodStrike New Estate Valorant Mobile Apex 2.0 and more! The developers even went out of their way in making the hip-fire reduce accuracy and they added recoil to the weapons as if year 2084 will not have enough tech to remove recoil from real life guns. Now since the guns have recoil, ur movement will reduce cuz u have to use 1 of ur finger to now handle the recoil and the graphics r terrible😒
I had played farlight for 2 months and had reached the highests of ranks in Indian region.. i used to play apex legends since its released, left apex and came to farlight and just after 2 months of me playing farlight and mastering the jetpack they removed it.. I still played 1-2 weeks after the new update but at the end i missed the old farlight and so i left the game.. its been more then a month since i played farlight. now i'm going back to apex

They need to understand that there are many other options available in the market and if they don't listen to the community people will simply move on to other games.
I was a semi-professional call of duty player during the jetpack era. I played a little far light for early in the game's life cycle. I came back and was terrible and couldn't figure out what was different and why I was playing poorly. My movement skill went to waste. That is why I wasn't playing as well. Rip
I Uninstalled the game just yesterday, i held hopes until i realized they just don't care for players, I'm done with that. It was a great journey while it lasted, I'll miss the old days.... goodbye Farlight, you used to be a good game, now you are just a bad attempt of Battle Royale.
I can give 100% guarantee that all Dedicated players are just waiting for some new alternative .... Many dedicated players bought jetpacks & trails....Now its like they wasted loads of money ... But Farlight does not care..... I was a dedicated player since 2021 & i had convinced many many players to try out farlight 84.. Now i too feel cheated..... The replies from devs clearly shows their attitude towards players.... Farlight devs think that now they are so big that everyone will have to adjust to the changes... As soon as some new BR game arrives...Farlight will get a reality cheack of their so called dedicated players ..

Exactly I am kinda working with the changes and this video reminded me how hopeful I was to the suck success of farlight and how they destroyed a well made game. Take fortnite for example no really liked it at first because building while fighting was a new thing but look at it now. Farlight had jetpacks which I loved, my aim is bad but good movement help me to stay in the top ranks now the game feels dull and I'm literally waiting for something new to release so I can have something new to play in 😭😭😭😭 sorry farlight I dont know if you can win me back but you have the ball what's your next step

They need to bring back jet packs without it farlight 84 doesn't feel like home to me. I left the game a few weeks ago. I will be back only if they bring back the jet packs.
As a beginner in shooting game, this game brought me so much joy. It was beginner friendly and was so addictive and fun. I'm so sad with the update. Played since last year before they ruined everything. Even got all my girlfriends to play and we all loved it so much. We would meet up in cafes and everyone would just open farlight and game for hours. Even got friends from other game to download FL. Made so many new friends in Farlight, even had our own Discord group so we could all come online and set a time to play as a squad. After they removed jetpack and all the other stupid updates, not lying, EVERYONE left the game. My Discord is quiet now. Such a disappointment. I started playing FL again last month, its just not the same anymore :'(
And for the ppl who are going to say the new update is better than the old, shows us that you guys have never experienced Farlight in its peak though I played the game for only 2 months it felt like this game was a part of my childhood, the memories I made here and the friends, the experience felt unreal. They really ruined this game they should just delete it.

I was one of the original beta testers for farlight 84, and I can testify that the game was one which was at its peak in early 2023. Although I was not playing the game when it decided to remove jetpacks entirely, I agree that the decision removed the entirety of its identity from itself.(Personally, I'm more pissed that they removed the mechanic character)
Removing jetpacks is like a huge middle finger to the players spent days, weeks or even months to master the jetpack movements. I know its hard but eventually overtime you'll get used to it.
No. There are many other better games than this. They messed up by removing jetpacks which nobody ever requested to be removed. Hello Everyone 🤗 I will always remember Farlight 84 as one of my favorite games in the Google playstore. I am an introverted person scared to socialize sometimes but I make lots of friends in the Farlight 84 game, it helps me build my confidence to make more friends and I will always remember the countless laughter and failures and wins we have. I play Farlight not just because of the game but also make friends and give a healthy impact to others I am very kind with everyone even though I sometimes experience trash talkers in the game. I still show kindness and love. I stay playing Farlight 84 everyday because I have hopes that it will get better and improve. I know it's just the beginning and I believe they will improve the game. I would love to be part of the Farlight 84 1 year anniversary next month. Please Don't give up I'm one of the Loyal Players of Farlight 84 since Season 9. Thank you and God bless you all
I thought sliding would make me interested in the game again but the opposite happened, I only went to warm-up mode to test the sliding but it did not convince me to come back because sliding is in many games I've played and I didn't feel any difference from other games, hhh I wish FL84 cared about it's OGs, the people who supported the game from the start

i'm on the edge of leaving the game too, the very season the jetpacks were remove i actually did quit but this season i decided to play farlight again, it is still fun but it is also very lonely.

I was on and off with this game as I am for most competitive games I play. (Reason being that I play until I get the Season skin/reward and f*ck off 'til next season. 🤣) I honestly don't give a sh*t back then when they removed the Jetpacks as I was trying to be fair, but after trying out the new update for a week or two after it's release, I sympathize with those asking for it's return. It is a very bad decision on their part, and their justification for it is probably the most moronic sh*t I've heard in a long while. 🧐 Like, we've been there once, at least optimize it for them. Not outright remove them. It doesn't help the fact that their new map at the time is a direct rip off of some of Apex's maps just merged together. And yes, I know with their aesthetic, Jet Slide is just a direct rip off from Apex. I quit for a while and return just to see what's up, and for some reason, it got even worse. 🧐 What once was a fast paced match was now so d*mn sluggish, that every single aspect of it is so d*mn slow. Cars, guns, abilities, hell! Even walking has become slow, and I thought that wasn't possible. I just gave up entirely and quit for good. Will I come back? Depends. Until they get their sh*t together (which is highly unlikely at this point, considering how it's been 7 months now and they seem dead set on threading the path to their own destruction. 🤷) or if something interesting is gonna pique my interest, which is highly unlikely considering the sh*t they've been doing. They literally dug and put themselves in their own graves. 🧐
💥💥I didn't even really care about the jetpacks.I mean it is what it is they lost me when they changed the visuals of the game from how it look to this cartoon flat style. If they have started with that cartoon style i wouldn't have had a problem with it.
Removing jetpacks in some capsuler make them useless like watchman who the fck wants to use capsuler with no jetpack ability and reducing movement speed when using his monocycle robot tower. beau his bomb its useless. Its hard to use. Giving only stun and flying. Thats why you only see phantom, duckside, maggie always in the game. Imagine playing a game with only them playing one meta in the game.. plus countless of cheaters. Getting aimbot every game by Vss and AS shotgun, wallhacks. Plus the 3 vehicles got nerfed with no fcking use.

Players who keep nagging about jetpack I believe they never played apex legends mobile before. Because now farlight is exactly like apex legends, it's getting there with the other apex movement mechanics soon, Wall bounce etc. If we are honest about our selves since from farlight beta test we the communities are the ones that requested sliding in the game. Because we were so butthurt about what apex did to us. I believe 80% of players who keep nagging about jetpacks have never played apex legends mobile they are just new probably their first battle royal game. Well being a gamer is tough better get a helmet. Some keep shouting about warzone, as if warzone will be compatible with their devices. You got no choice brotha, , your low end devices have limit unless you are changing it, this is where farlight came in. It's business after all.

Thanks for such a good video. But truly f84 had such a good mechanic and the decision they made on the start of the year damn that gave me apex vibes of devs not being in line with the community. For the ones who still play the game enjoy it but it just feels boring atm
Jetpack with Cake or Cake with Jetpack was how Farlight was known. Why take out the Jetpacks? It's the only thing that made the game stand out from the rest of the Battle Royale.
it's not about jetpacks. it's about changing the whole environment visuals to a cheap copy of fortnite. and then the characters are also changed to a sick cartoon which doesn't look good. the older graphics were really good. I literally quite it after playing the new version for only 5 minutes
EXACTLY! damn I'm so happy to see that I'm not the only one who misses the old designs it was so beautiful and full of promise it was an apocalyptic world with interesting characters a real survivor vibe with landscapes of cities in poetic ruins and now with each new design I have the impression that we are moving further and further away from the incredible aesthetic that we were promised, which is why I supported this game 90% and has given way to new design shipped quickly to give a constant feeling of novelty to the player except that in the end the game lost all its style which surpassed Fortnite which in my opinion is not very beautiful aesthetically speaking farlight was the perfect happy medium not too cartoonish not too realistic just enough to seem fun in the long term but nah they destroyed everything for poor skins and the new map which is much too cartoonish they lost the original designers and we can feel it they are so stupid not to notice it half of it's succes came from that for shure so sad

Sunset city was better than the first map tho but first charadesigns were fitting 10 time more the universe of course they need to make skins but they where so poorly made they messed up so bad, I've awaited the pc version saying to myself idc if they fuck up the mobile version but then... then i regretted giving all my support the discord community managers are a joke the whole project have been given to idiots that ruined it in every way possible
Played since the beta was out and reached about lvl 80 while even the guns had skills like Ak-47 using unlimted ammo and M4 with the shield skill but they removed it and removed so many characters and it made the game annoying now so i uninstalled it and saw ur vid saying they removed jetpacks now😢😢
good video, personally i find the removal of jetpacks was a bad decision and what made it worse what not having any movement ability after its removal to fill in the gap, instead we had to wait for a month to get sliding the game is still good and fun though, so idc
Another game ruined by devs , all my friends quit the game and they won't waste time to play with this *new system jet slide* , i tried the game myself and is not same as it used to be with jet packs (the game was unique and good didn't need a change) , only reason i end up trying to game now is because i actually wasted money on their game when they had the jet packs. After few matches i delete the game and won't go back to it.
There is a game named "Free Fire". 😭 Devs ripped their own game inch by inch even though the whole community is begging not to do anything stupid. But they always hear the requests of the new players and their stupidity caused every og players to leave the game. - from a free fire player who wasted nearly 200$ on that game
I Remember when I couldn’t get my friends to,play Apex Mobile anymore. They said “nah its too sweaty” 😢 😂 and truth be told their new player experience was far too tough for them, and there was no sbmm in the end because the player base was soo small we would always face pro status players every match.
Nowadays, farlight 84 feels me apex legends vibe. Really hats off to the devs to provide us the experience of apex legends in mobile❤❤❤❤. Jetslide is the damage control. But it successfully bring the playerbase which is gone after the removing of jetpack.
@@azwansyah9519 The player base never left entirely so what you on about?🤦🏽♂️. Some players did leave after the jet pack removal but that's it. From what I can tell the game is still thriving.it has some cons but hey not every game is perfect. But there are exceptions for example "warzone" which was a massive failure from the day it was released.

In 2023 farlight was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 i was in the leaderboard #100 players in the world.. day and night i used to play, the community was super active.. they gave us a unique gaming experience.. now.. 😂😂 i uninstalled. we got a 200+ members WhatsApp community.. that is also dead.. now we drift back to CODM. Where the developers care about players.. i hope to watch farlight shutting down because of devs stupid arrogant decision..

I started playing when farlight initially released..i really enjoyed it alot and even reached the highest rank. But life got in the way and i didn't played it for a long time. Untill yesterday i installed and wow to my surprise it felt like a totally new game. It seems almost they are trying to remove all the old things completely. I don't even feel abit of nostalgia playing😢. They devs are just ending themselves.

Leave even the jetpacks, the new map is SO SO LAGGY that i and the othe players keep teleporting. And after the new update even the other maps started lagging, even if i set it in the lowest of the low graphics. it was impossible to get a hit, but in turn, i kept getting hit by them. one game frustrated me so much that i immediately uninstalled it without a doubt. until they bring back the November-December update, im not at all installing it.
i had started playing this game from end of may 2023 but after the update the game changed the lag,ping etc. and the removal of jetpacks. i did not see that game again i wish to never until they add em again

Removing their iconic jetpacks made them a walking dead game. I used to love this game but with that move I stopped playing it and I don't understand why they did that. :[
Watching this video made me so sad. I missed playing the game. I stopped BR games for some years and then I stumbled upon farlight. It was such a breath of fresh air. Even my friends who decided to stop playing BR games got intrested in this unique game. I miss my matches with my friends. How fun we had playing each matches. I purchased every battle pass and vip membership because i felt like this game was worth spending. I felt like this game is gonna stay in my phone far longer period than CODM or PUBG. But alas with a single update they ruined it for me amd my friends. It became a typical BR. No matter how many jet slide you fuckers implement you cant top the experience me and my guys had with this game. I dont have words for the hate. (Sorry for cuss words. Its just im so sad now there nothing to ro play on mobile)
Removal of jetpacks was unnecessary. Jet slide is like fixing a broken glass with a band-aid. Bots are still there in the game, ping went from 20 to 70+, wasteful addition of a new rank "mythic" making it no different from previous "legends", bugs like freezing car in middle of high speed often compromising the complete match, and not listening to the player base that is always available to get feedback from via discord... All these and more, only points in 1 direction. I have been playing since patch 1.2, this season will be the final for me. Farewell to a very good game initially that was treated unfairly by the devs. A lesson for others of what not to do.
