During my 90-day hair growth journey, I did yoga and exercises, massaged my scalp with oil 3 times a week, shampooed one time a week, and used llitllextra reactivate hair serum. The outcome, my hair grew longer without any breakage.
Many thanks! I’ve been using your routine along with reactivate serum for hair growth for approximately 2 months and my hair growth has become much denser.
Some people say that Finasteride can cause depression. But believe me going bald and losing your hair is far more depressing than anything else. I started losing hair and my doctor recommended me 0.3 Mg of Finasteride on a daily basis. My hairfall stopped afterwards and I am now a happier person. Many people do judge you on the basis of looks and a guy with full head of hair is considered aesthetically more pleasing than a person with less hair.
thats true man, I´d rather be depressed with thick hair then depressed with no hair...I started having some hair loss problems about a year ago and I´m not yet sure if its stress related or just genetics since I had a really stressfull and unhealthy life past year with quite a few health problems/injuries and emotional stress along with the fact that God given thick and strong hair runs in my family including me but man if it turns out its somehow genetics I´m ready to do literally anything to keep my precious hair, fck depression, we´re all depressed anyway🤣
Been in Finasteride for almost ten years. No side effects whatsoever and it regrew a decent amount back. My brothers use it too with no side effects and good results. Key is not letting yourself lose too much before getting on it!
@@user-if3kb2gm9d Millions of men across a whole range of ages take it and get the same results as the OP. I presume your question means you considering taking it. Speak to some hair loss advisors. Don't decide based on what someone on the internet experienced.
@@yoshikagekira8613 Started thinning at 21 - had an Hair transplant in 2010 just to restore the vertex and the frontal hairline. I was never bald, I've stopped the genetic before it was too late. The transplant was done just to give density.
My bro used to have very thin hair on the top of his head, but he still had a hairline, just very thin. He reduced his stress, improved diet, and began using liitlleexttra cocooionn hair oil shampoo combo. This helped decrease his hair fall in just 4 to 5 months.
Got this cocoonniion hair shampoo for dealing with hair loss and scalp flakiness. I used to have be itchy and dry and flaky. I was frustrated because of dandruff. After much research, I eventually opted to try this one a go. Following initial use, I observed my hair seemed soft and my scalp was less irritated. I usually use shampoo two times a week and in two days, the dandruff would reappear. But since using this shampoo, that was not the case. I chose to keep using it to monitor the results. It has been about half a year since I started and the issue with dandruff is resolved. Almost no hair fall whatsoever. I’m pleased that I took this step and adhered to the routine. All in all, it’s an excellent product.
It is just ridiculous that there is still no medicine to help stop people losing their hair in this modern age. Absolutely ridiculous. Considering medical advancement and the potential of making a lot of money if a company succeed in producing one.
Their probably is, but all these medicines scientists might be keeping it a secret to help the pharmaceutical industry so more and more people will spend money on buying their stuff.
Been on finasteride for 5 years since I was 24. I haven't seen any significant development in my hair loss since like 6 months/a year into it. Now I have peace of mind and never think about something that used to dominate hours of my waking time daily. Frankly, I love not even needing to follow these channels because obsessing over this is so defeating. Finasteride helped me with that and continues to do so.
@@WezaBeatz I did perhaps notice a decrease in libido briefly during the second year. I quit for a few weeks and started back up once my libido normalized. I haven't experienced any side effects since. I dont have any kids, but plan to take a break at that poinr.
@@Chandan_oo7 No. I tried to get into it but putting something on your scalpe once/twice daily was something I could never get into. I might have seen some regrowth if I could've bothered to use minoxidil also but again I just couldn't be bothered once I realised my hair wasn't going anywhere anymore.
I've been on Fin for 6 months after slowly thinning for around 5 years - within 6 months I've got probably 18 months of loss back. Can't fault it and certainly a lot less invasive than going straight for a transplant which I've had quoted at £7k/$9k! Had no side effects either which is really good, it was the main reason I put it off for so long.
@@stockholmpublishings2937 Yeah, studies show that its below 5% of men who experience side effects but I believe a lot more experience as not many people share their experiences. I for one now have been on it for seven weeks and have experienced several sides, chest tightness, lower libido after around 3 weeks and dry mouth. I'll give it a bit more time to see whether they'll subside as chest tightness is no longer as bad as it was a week ago.
I take 1mg 3,4 times a week and got the same results as I would take it every day . I started to take it when I was 26 years old . Now I am 42 and no side effects at all .
I've been using it for nearly 2 years alone and it definitely works. Im considering adding minoxidil since some of the hair feels a bit thin but otherwise it's great as a tablet on its own
I've heard about some studies using different doses of finasteride and the results were like 0.2mg was almost as efficient as 1mg and at the same time possibility of side-effects was almost the same as using placebo. Sounds like 0.2mg dose is what can work as good and be extremely safe.
These exact research only implied that the fall in DHT is similiar, not that it's as efficient in stopping hair loss. It's directionally worse than 1mg dose (which means it's a result below confidence level, but still visible), while the risk of side effects is - also - directionally lower. Lowering your dose to 0.5mg or even 0.2mg should be considered an option IF you experience some of the side effects. Otherwise, there is no reason not to take 1mg, as it has been proven that this dose is a good middle ground when reducing the risks and providing the results.
I was one of the early takers of Finasteride (and topical monoxidil simultaneously)....started in 2000 ie 23 years ago. In my case I was thinning fairly rapidly and to my surprise, my hair started to REGROW and by 6-12 months or so after I started taking the drugs. My hair was thicker than it ever had been. Now in my early 50s and my hair still looks great. Not to mention both drugs are much cheaper now - they were fairly expensive back in the day. My regimen is one tablet every couple of days, with topical monoxidil once every night. I've never been brave enough to experiment/cease either but my GUESS is its the Finasteride that's doing the heavy lifting.

I was using this for a couple months. Out of nowhere I had a panic attack which I’ve never experienced before. It was bad, I lost feeling of my body and I was driving. Then I had several panic attacks following after the first one and also feeling extremely off. I contacted the company I got it from (HIMS) and told the doctor and he said increased anxiety could be a symptom. It made me so much sense. There’s also people who suffer from post finasteride syndrome. Please be cautious, I still don’t feel like myself and I stopped taking this medication earlier this year.
Ive been on it for a little over a year taking a daily pill with topical minoxidil once every evening and the result is great. Granted, I started at the very first sight of thinning. I've always had thick and a lot of hair. I didn't just notice the thinning has disappeared but I also noticed an overall increase in thickness, just like a couple years ago.

Oh wow. How lucky i am. I went to doctor today to get advice on finastride and its dosage because topical minoxidil for 8 months hasnt made the fuzzy small hairs grow that are on my corners. Maybe it prevented them from shedding but still. Doctors in turkey are really against finastride and the difference between american doctors who more or less casually recommend it and doctors in turkey being very hesitant about it is somewhat discouraging. I also saw an urologist who was strongly against taking it. He mentioned it reduces testerone levels a lot and can also negatively affect muscle growth as well.. He didnt mention anything with regards to dosage though. I keep seeing very good results on places like reddit and i trust you Dr. Gary so im on the verge of starting the med but i will lastly see a specialist here instead of a regular doc before making my final conclusion. Dr. Gary, I've been a long-time fan of your work. You're such an amazing person for your dedication to rejuvenating youth for people, your precision in medical explanation and esoteric knowledge in hair loss treatment. I live in China, and it's doubtful that the understanding and treatment for hair loss here is as evolved, though I do live in the most developed city here. But your sharing of all this knowledge gives me hope in having a shot at Finasteride for my DHT-driven hair loss.
Im using finasteride for about 12 months, not only the hair loss stop,i even got back some of my hairline (yeah...people noticed too and asked me what i did). I already ordered minoxidil and a microneedling device too. Soon im gonna be hairy AF.
Nice to hear it, man! I'm on minoxidil now for like a week, I guess. Even tho I need like 3 month to see some results, feels like my hair are getting thicker every day. I think I will use finasteride after these 3 month. Good luck, bro, hope we both will be hairy af :D
Neurosteroids are known to exert diverse functions in the brain. 5α-reductase (5α-R), a rate-limiting enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of neurosteroids is inhibited by finasteride. Clinical studies suggest that administration of finasteride causes the emergence of affective symptoms and cognitive dysfunction. Also youll be moee feminized.
Currently taking 3 times per week 1mg for the last two months, thinking about scaling up but still unfeeling unsure about the side effects, this video helps, thanks doc
I've started first with 0.5mg 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) to avoid sides. It's my 9th month know and I'm OK with my libido and my mental health. My mental health is even beter then before and I have more energy ! My hair is improving (new baby hair on frontal scalp). If after 12 month I see no better results, I'll try 1mg 3 times a week but not more because you increase much more the risks of sides for not that much more results. Seeing results from taking finasteride can take more time for you then for other people who are "high responders" but you have to know that you need at least 12 month of treatment to really see good results. Some guys need up to 16 month to see results ! So be patient and chill. PS : my sperm is much more ticker while taking finasteride. If you eat healthy and do sport, you shouldn't have any problem with finasteride, trust me. In my opinion androgenic alopecia comes from insulin resistance. So you have too much insulin in your blood that increases activity of 5 alpha reductase and so the synthesis of DHT. Women with PCOS hace often androgenic alopecia and we know that PCOS comes from insulin resistance or insuline resistance is a consequence of PCOS (I don't remember)
@@didudiydidudu I switched to 1 mg a day. Now I take it in the Morning with a lot of water to avoid stomach pain. I've started 1 mg in October 2023. I'll see results till the end of the year 2024. I used finasteride for over 10 years and started when I was 18 years old. I never grew any beard, even it is said there is no correleation. After I stopped my skin got better, I grew finally a beard (with 28) and felt overall better. I thought about going back, but I didn't.
Something never really mentioned when self medicating is the dosage needed per person. A lot of people, like myself, are more sensitive to Finasteride and its effects, therefore side effects. In the east it's common to prescribe 0.2mg as an effective dose, while in the west we opt for 1mg, likely due to big pharma profits. From 18-21 I took 1mg daily and had the literal worst sides, which progressed further the longer I took it, I hated life and gave it up completely. I started up again at 24, this time at 0.2mg and a year later I've experienced no sides, except thicker stabilised hair. I buy 1mg and use a pill cutter.
I am female and my hair started shedding when I began SSRIs about 10 years ago. The dermatologist put me on finasteride. My hair still constantly sheds so I take bioten with the finasteride to help the regrowth grow quicker. So, basically, my head is always a frizz ball from all the different lengths of new hairs and I have to keep it pulled up to prevent my hair from getting into EVERYTHING as it falls out. I need my crazy pills, but I'm also vain and don't want to be a bald female. I would LOVE to see more info on hair loss from medications and help for female hair loss.
I relate to this. I started losing my hair over ten years ago. I have gone to multiple doctors, had multiple scalp biopsies, multiple blood tests and everything always comes back “normal.” I’ve taken minoxidil, biotin, viviscal, spironolactone, and many more. My hair is so thin now, I can’t even wear hair extensions anymore. I wear it up in a bun everyday because it just looks so horrible. I’m looking into getting a wig unfortunately because my hair loss is just so bad that I can’t even hide it anymore
Whilst dealing with mental health disorders is difficult, no one needs to be on SSRIs for 10 years, sounds more like you have not dealt with your anxiety/ depression properly and your useless Doctors just give you more pills to avoid dealing with the issue.
As far as I know with women the cause of hair loss is usually different and curable unlike with men. So I would say you should check yourself with another doctor too

Dr. Linkov, if someone has good results with dutasteride (in terms of retaining hair) but is experiencing sexual side effects--and had only mediocre results with finasteride in the past--what do you think of combining daily finasteride with weekly dutasteride? As you might guess, I'm in this predicament. Of course, I have reached out to my internist who has been prescribing these medications, but since you're an expert in treating hair loss, I would value your opinion if you have time to offer it. Hello Doctor! Thank you for this video! So I had a HT 6 days ago and I never took Finasteride. My questions are: When can I start? How much do I have to take initially? And should I increase the dosage?
Question to the public: i have been taking 1 mg every day for about 3 - 4 years now. I for sure notice decreases in libido and some ED. My hair has not gotten any worse in that time , and possibly has gotten better. But i personally feel it can cause a bit of depression considering you have little drive to seek out a partner then if you do you have the paranoia of not everything working when the time comes. Has anyone else experienced the same feelings? I dont necessarily want to stop taking it because im single and would like to keep my hair but the double edge sword to this is really a problem. Wondering if i should take a few months off and or change my dosing/schedule.
I would be very careful with propecia. Especially when it comes to having children. That is not just hype. As far as depression, I don’t blame propecia as there were several other factors but I know someone who suffered severe depression for years and who finally committed suicide. His children also seem to have suffered birth defects from propecia. But of course I can’t blame in completely on propecia but there are many indications that propecia may have been the culprit.
@@gutenbird im sorry to hear that. I feel personally the depression is likely due to the ED and low libido. Its like i take it to maintain my hair to make me feel good and attractive for a date, then at the same time you get what you want and then you cant even feel comfortable sexually , and dont have the urge to really feel fully engaged in a relationship.
I believe fin stays on the scalp for 1wk so even stopping it for 2 weeks still not losing your hair immediately. You should lower your dose. Try 1mg 3x a week. I also experience ED with daily dosage for 1yr so im taking now 1.25mg 3 times a week with same result
It does cause depression. Finasteride blocks 5ar, which, apart from creating DHT, also creates important neurosteroids. The lack of which, cause depression. The low libido is a bonus from lack of DHT
Great video! Thank you for putting content out that offers helpful and factual information that makes a difference. I can personally say that I was put on 1mg propecia manymay years ago at 16 years old in which I took up util around age 37. I was on the 1mg propecia or I remember when it stopped being called propecia and thus called simply finasteride. I took it before, during and after both of my full 12 month in between back to back FUE sessions which my doctor is known by calling CUE. According to my months and months of prior research I conducted and along with other well respected doctors and then in accordance of my overall absolutely noticeable results, it is truly hard for me to say whether 1mg propecia truly helped me if at all. I had my two stints in the chair from 730am until roughly 1130pm with each back to back CUE or FUE which I opted to not have a a smiley face scar and my first surgery they shaved my head which my sessions respectively were both done in 2009 and then 12 months later 2010 and man it it took seemingly forever for my hair to grow back out and as well to see the positive results. So when I went in for my second session 12 months later they had developed a method that was a little more expensive that I didn’t have to have my head shaved and that was to me far better because after a few days I was right back out in public with zero evidence of just having had a large procedure. Finasteride I decided to talk my doctor about a year ago now to put me back on it this being an entirely different doctor and I am 47 now to be 48 in less than a month. I decided to ask my new doctor to please put me back on it and I explained to him that I took it from 16 to 37 and the reason was because I had all the sudden went through a period of rapid onset all the sudden massive hair loss and for the first time even after I had stopped 1mg finasteride that I had any issues with hair loss. In my case what I found out was that my A1C was skyrocket 16.9 and I had become a diabetic and my doctor told me that due to my diabetic situations something about it had all but cut off blood flow to my hair hair follicles thus less growth and rapid loss and my hair went from great and fairly thick to incredibly thin with basically all that I had left was from my two procedures I had back in 09 and 10. Long to short he told me that once I get my sugar back where it need be and under control that my hair “should” grow back but he also said there is no guarantee. I had to beg him to put me back on finasteride. Omg I still thank him today almost a year later and he put me on 5mg finasteride and I speak the truth and when I say I had gone in for a haircut and was in shock at how much hair I had lost that from that moment 6 weeks later when I went back to get my hair cut again the girl who has cut my hair for many years said what in the world had I done because within just that 6 week window my hair had literally grew to about double the amount that I had 6 weeks prior. I don’t know if it was strictly the finasteride or because I had gotten on the correct diabetic meds or a combination of both but as I type this this very second I am in the process of letting my hair grow back out long and I presume due to the 5mg finasteride, my hair has never been thicker so much so that it’s an absolute miracle. I can attest to what the good doctor here is saying and speaking the truth of. Sorry that was long but when I start writing I time tends to stop and I’ll have written a book. My apologies. Thank you Doctor for your awesome content. It is appreciated.

Hi Dr. Linkov, Does Finasteride have any counter indication if you take Pradaxa daily? I fully understand that you are NOT my treating physician and your answer is based only on your experience. Thank you.
I’ve been on it for 1.5years and have recently added minoxidil. It defo works but I just wish I started it sooner as my temples haven’t fully recovered
I read on the finesteride paper that it causes difficult ejaculation,no erection and the symptoms persist after you stop the medication. This doesn't sound good . Better do every 3 month PRP sessions and be good with it rather than becoming impotent.
I will tell you from direct experience first using Finasteride, then Avodart - Avodart beats Finasteride hands down since it blocks the DHT I and II transformation while Finasteride only blocks type I iirc. Many balding men have receptors for one or the other or both. Been using it for literally over 20 years now, it was remarkable how much better Avodart (Dutasteride) is over Propecia (Finasteride).
thanks for sharing, I am taking finasteride now for 1.5 years and its been great. But I want a bit more regrowth and will try to incorporate dutasteride. I was thinking about doing dutasteride 0.5mg for 2 days of the week and every other day finasteride 1.25mg. Would you recommend this? How do you dose dutasteride?
I only took one pill (1.25 mg) and can already feel more apathic, honestly feel the same as when I took Ashwagandha. I might be more susceptible to depression, think I will stick with Minoxidil for now.
I have accepted the inevitable after not having a good experience with propecia. that was 10 years ago and all fears have not come true. the baldness suits me well and dates have even increased.
My hair started to thin when I turned 22 , everyone said it's because your hair is not getting enough air, and I said " it's not balding , it's just because my hair is not that thick 😂 " . One year later my hair started thinning rapidly from my crown side to front side, and everyone started to tell me "why you balding at this age " and now I started to wear a hat when I'm going out 😢 . Everyone say that taking pills have a lot of side effects, and when I stopped taking it your hair will fall again. So you don't stop taking it. Am thinking of doing a hair transplant, but they say it's not a good idea before age of 26 ,so ill wait 3 years 😢.
Well, try to go bald for a while and see how that feels like. Might look good on ya. I went through hair transplant recently, and they shaved my hair, you know what? I liked it.
I am also in same situation ma boy I started losing hair at the age of 14 💀 And at that time I was not worried about that Then I noticed that density of my hair is reducing . I tried prp but it doesn't worked Now I am 18 year's old And I have losed 70% of my hair And I don't no what to do. Now I started to use topical finasteride Hope it works
Thanks for the video as always. I decided to try Finasteride about 2 months ago at a very low dose (.25mg) I would cut a 1mg into 1/4 because I was worried about sides(not sexual, but mental). I actually had a larger libido than usual after taking it for 2 weeks, but at about 2.5 weeks I started to get really bad brain fog/depersonalization and minor panic attacks(I am actually used to panic attacks and managing them. Some others may have a harder time coping though if you get these sides). I continued to take it for about 1 more week but it seemed to get worse each day until I could just not take it anymore and dropped it completely. Not trying to scare anyone from taking it, but it took about 2-3 more weeks for the brain fog/depersonalization to go away. I am thinking about trying topical instead in about a month and seeing if that helps at all. I have always suffered from anxiety and panic attacks so I knew I might have a risk of those sides. Edit: Just want to add a few things. I am a diffuse thinner. I am almost 37 and have had anxiety/panic attack issues since I was about 15. I am VERY good at dealing with anxiety now and do not take any medication for it anymore. I just want to share my experience with anyone that might experience what I did taking it. I will try to update this comment when I start topical. Edit 2: Small updates in the comments on the journey so far. Cheers.
its nocebo, the more youre fixated on side the more you feel like youre gonna get them, if you have a history of mental issues then thats the issue, not the drug itself.
First of all we both r exactly the same I m 27 now but I do suffer from anxiety n panick attack very rear but still scary as fk that’s the reason I don’t wanna take fin however I m willing to give it a try but can u plz tell me that if it gives me sides effects such as sexual or mental n I stop it will that go away or those sides effects stays there I m just curious I hope I get a reply from ya thanks a lot
@@maiwandsahar5887 The side effects only last as long as you continue to take the medication. Finasteride can cause permanent changes to your body like gynocomastia but it's quite rare.
I took finasteride everyday day for 2years. Ok it didn't empeach a sudden effluvium telogene. After 5 weeks, huge loss (I counted 1300 hair loss in one day!) I flew to Turkey 🇹🇷 had a hairtransplant 12 days ago and happy with quick growing hair already. I continue the finasteride and minox cos I need to take care of my hair. I eat bio, super healthy and that will help for sure 🙏
Wich between Minox and Fina should i have to take to gain regrowth density and grow miniaturized hair from the temples ? Great vid as always, i appreciate it.
I am 20 and I have been on minoxidil as prescribed by my doc. saw good results in retaining the remaining hair after 6 months of starting it. Now its almost 13 months and I am seeing more hairloss. People also said my bald area s more visible. Just so you know, I look fine. I am in shape. Losing hair is making me insane. My mood has been so bad since last 2 months. Should I start fin?
Yes you should ask dr if he doesn't recommend ask some other dr who is specialist in hair loss and has recommend people fin or du its better than being depressed. I have read many comment of people with good results on fin 0.3 mg Or dut 0.3 mg for starting and it starts giving results after 6 months I am also having same problem as u and going to start fin but under dr guidance.
2 years on finasteride along with a kierr 272 laser helmet. At the start, front of head similar to day one photo in the thumbnail, but with a bald spot in the back. Now, it's about the same. More than likely stopped the loss, but don't expect miracles. I was using minoxidil for a while as well, but had to stop because it was blurring my vision. I believe it may have permanently damaged my eyes as I have "floaters" now and my vision has net been the same since.
I'm 20 and I have androgenic alopecia which has progressed quite far . I recently started 5% minoxidil twice a day ,0.5 mm derma roller 2-3 times a week and 1mg finasteride. Is this much alright and can i expect some hair regrowth (50-70% of the hair that i used to have )
@@Dash-Ø7-X hair are thicker, very less to almost no hair loss, starting to see hair regrowth now . My scalp used to be visible, but now it's not that visible Multiple People have told me that I have started getting my hair back
To help anyone especially similar to my ethnicity as Black [Alkebulanian] American Im 27 yrs old and has been on finasteride for about 1.5 years so far. I noticed my haircut wasn't as crisp lined up as before at 24 yrs old. 4 levels of ego I had to go through. 1st: I was realistic with myself that it's a problem to research for help. 2nd: Actually calling and going to various dermatologists [better to research someone that resembles yourself, its just thr care is more thoughtful in my opinion] 3rd: Sticking to the medication of 5mg and cutting to 4 pieces with a pill cutter from amazon Result, yes, it stopped it from receding further. I only get a haircut for an occasion, or if my gf says "yep its time." So far, so good. Now i need to ask my doctor about the m work doc mentioned in the video and other than that. I take Spring Valley Hair, Skin & Nails Caplets Dietary Supplement, 240 Count: take two per day. YAH Bless you all on this journey. Your confidence increases by being realistic.
What Im wondering about is whats the difference between taking 1mg everyday vs 1mg every other day or 3 times a week. Is it recommended to take it every other day? is it effective enough?
Can you collab/talk about T-levels and libido and how to increase it? If side effects are a pre-existing concern, finasteride isnt always advised by other doctors. What can someone do to attack these side effects instead of just hoping for the best? Can we make attacking the side effects a mainstream part of hair loss care (since its in the same male-wellness category anyway)? I need a holistic approach that addresses all my problems and maximizes my manliness and masculine appeal.
VIDEO EDITOR: pls stop making captions appear word by word on the video. It's insanely distracting. I cant even turn it off or cover the screen. Put a full sentence at a time if you must put captions.
5mg might be too strong for everyday use, if it’s just for hair growth. I’m taking 2.5 mg for minoxidil. That’s usually the right dose. However if ur doctor recommended it, then listen to them obviously.
@@user-wt5if6rx8m no none. And if would have some it doesn't matter, exist laser remover treatment and that's it. Important is hair grownmant , doesn't matter at all a body grownmant
I was on finasteride I started at 19 up until 22 and I had no side effects. I started thinning again so I consulted my dermatologist and switched to dutasteride 6 months ago im 23 now. So far no side effects either. I took finasteride every other day for a month then did everyday after . When I switched I started dutasteride every other day for a month because I was scared at first but now I do it everyday day because I was fine. It’s still too soon to tell but I feel like it’s slowing down my hair loss for sure. Hopefully it stops it. I’m writing this because I remember when I started at 19 I did research and I was scared because of the horror stories. I came out okay. I know hair loss sucks at a young age you lose your confidence and you think will anyone ever want me if I’m bald or would they think I’m ugly. If you genuinely have these thoughts and you think taking the pill will put you at ease do it. Yes there are side effects but they affect 1% of men. It’s going to seem like more because the people that tend to leave reviews are the ones who have horror stories. They are doing it because it’s their experience but it might not be yours. So go for it. Sorry if this is long but I remember the comments I read were vague and I don’t want you the reader to feel like this one is. I took minoxidil also the foam but I got side effects from that one. Other than dutateride I’m using 2% ketaconazle from keeps and dermarolling two times a week. I might try minoxidil again however to see if it maximizes my results.
@@Dash-Ø7-X Yes so far so good bro. I still have no side effects at all. I started using minoxidil again 2 months ago. I have no side effects from that either. My hairloss has stopped I hope it stay that way for a while. I know it’s working because I have a family member who started thinning around the time I did. I still have the same amount of hair but his has gotten worse.
I am female live in Australia and have been loosing my hair since 2005. We have only one specialist that truely specialises in hair loss using medication. I’ve been on minoxidil, spironolactone, ducastride for years and my hair continues to fall out, he then added in finasteride and I had terrible side effects eventually having a really bad fall trying cross a busy road and fractured a rib. I had to stop taking it and now my hair has become miniaturised and falling out in handfuls. If I hadn’t of started with 5 times more than the norm I would be bald. I’m now frantic about it, even prp doesn’t seem to work.
You talk about stop if you see side effects and then start again with lower 0,5mg. Isnt it better to start with like 0.5mg every day, and if thats work just keep going, and if not try 1mg?
