She is diabetic, which is common in the Phil. Also kidney problem is common in the PH, too much salt in take. Sugary drinks, like coke that Pilipino loves, in Mexico are the same, too much carb., I work in one of the biggest Laboratory in the US and base in our study, candy doesn't make you diabetic, it's more of what you eat daily, lots of rice, drinking high sugary stuff and not enough exercise and gene plays a big role. You can revise that, and be the champion for people . Take care.
Mike said she’s NOT diabetic & both of them are using CGM for a few weeks to evaluate how certain foods impact their blood sugar levels & learn more about their bodies 🤫very interesting …
Ok, thanks for answering everyone’s concern. It’s a highlight of our to share with you your travels, your life.. In only four months we will be landing in Manilla. “It’s better in the Philippines “ ha!
I am diabetic. The normal value for blood glucose is 100 to 80 but not too low or nothing higher than 100. The A1C is a better way to check blood glucose.
If Grey spikes from eating and goes dangerously low when not eating I would recommend she see an Endocrinologist . What she explained are symptoms of diabetics and then said it runs in her family. She is young but who knows. Get checked out.
I have been diabetic for 22 years, I got it as a very young age. Its really had to monitor my blood sugar specially being Filipino, all the rice and great food. I have been wearing a Deccom 6 for years which helps me monitor my glucose better. Deccom is really the best in the market work great with phone and so small. Best of luck gray, being diabetic will only enchange your knowledge on what we put in our body and be more aware on what to eat. Not saying you cant eat certain food, you can eat all but limit and control.
Even though you both love Filipino food, as long as you keep to a healthy way of eating as part of your everyday life, I would think that life will treat you well. Keep having regular checkups just to be safe,
One of the guiding principles in my journey is to take things in moderation, like eating and all that stuff! Hope your honey will be able to control her diabetes. Nobody can take care of you but yourself. Stay safe!!
Mike dont worry. Your Love & care to your beautiful Ms Grey will heal everything 💗😍. We can see how serious you are with all your Family Plans. 😂Mike make a Step and show us your Love with a💍💝👰🤵👼. Godbless both💝
My dream living room is more like that sunken lounge next to the pool. Designing also a semi outdoor bathroom...for our resthouse in the province. God willing it will be my retirement home
I just found myself that I'm diabetic too. For 1 week was stressing, thank god I have my family and awesome GF, soon to be wife encouraging me every day. Its hard especially ur doing hard diet and checking all the carbs and sugar. They told me to use that item to check my glucose. I hope in 3 months my a1c drop 🙏
Looks really nice :) Get the drawings for it.. Fun similarities here since I doing exactly the same.. didn't find any good house yet I wanna build though
The high protein of a low-carbohydrate diet could lead to hyperuricemia (leading to joint pain and gout) and hypercalcuria (leading to kidney stones, hypocalcemia, and osteoporosis). Some experts even state that eating a diet heavy in fat and protein from animal sources can increase your risk for heart disease or some cancers.
you wont be wearing those glucose monitor if your sugar wasn’t elevated, you must have pre-diabetes , also not surprising in the PI, kidney, diabetes, heart problem are all related diseases, Filipino love to eat starchy, sweets, pork, dried fish
I noticed the Dexcom or diabetes device on her left arm .she’s diabetic and with kidney failure as well ? Hopefully she strict with salt , carbohydrates and sweet . Watch your health
