I unlocked Hermann, but he is not a must build for me. I currently use Boudica/ysg (double relic) and am working on jhuge, who is a necessary upgrade for my marches more than Hermann

I enjoy your honesty. I think I relate to you most out of all persons in the RK universe. I don’t have limited time to sit here and diagnose and inspecting every commander there is. I do wish you would speak a little bit slower cause I have to replay a lot of what you say. But I do enjoy your contact probably a little bit more than Chisgule.

I am getting it to replace boudica. I will do the wrong talents, while benching my mora's web to shore up ZL/Herm. That is to say, I am getting 6% march speed from the verstatility tree, and I am taking out one mora's web to put in a talented call of the loyal. Furthermore, my armaments will have some speed, and I have the leadership pants for 2% speed. That is the way I am doing ZL/Herm, or ZERM. I know it is wrong on so many levels, but it is also unquestionably the only right way to do Zerm, if I want to live in the open field.

Boudica YSG is my first archer march. Replacing Ramses with Hermann to join Zhuge is my plan B. But making Zhuge the primary is a new idea. TY for the heads up

Finally someone I can invest in, sitting on 1293 sculptures. had gotten boudica prime to 5/3/1/1 with wheel when they announced new archers. still not in kvk so I am going to spin the next few wheels untill maxing him. by then there will be alot more info about him

I would argue that you’re not thinking about Hermann/Tomy the right way. Yes Tomy will remove poison, but only on one target, and she’ll cause his expertise to pop much more often (making him comparable to Joan P) which will add poison to the 2nd and 3rd targets much faster. Removing poison from your targeted march isn’t going to be a problem because targeted marches melt pretty quickly anyway. ZL is still great with Hermann P, so maybe no need to work on Tomy, but if you already do have her expertised I think she’ll be OP with Hermann P as well.

These are good thoughts. There is a lot going for your argument. Meanwhile, the AOE of ZL, the damage of ZL, the buffing of AOE damage, the health stats of ZL places great pressures on Tommy to be so good that she overcomes all those advantages of ZL. She may have some speed, and a bit of defense, but her damage is going to be low, and she is single target. I suppose you did say that you put ZL elsewhere and put tommy in with Herman. Perhaps that could work, if the marches configures out thusly. -- Maybe Boud/ZL, Herm/Tommy, hoping that the extra cast of Herm would offset the dropping of the poisons, and the missing out of AOE dmg buff. There is no clear answer right now. If I had to guess, I would still say probably not.

Another argument for Hermann/Tomy's quick poison stack is that for open field fighting, when you aren't connected with a target for more than one or two cycles, you'll be getting 10+ stacks of poison on the first skill pop vs 2-4 without Tomy, again benefitting all the nearby friendly marches (except gorge/Liu Che).

Either way your always playing catch up to the big spenders so your screwed either way… I’m a low to mid and I typically focus on one commander with universals and maybe buy daily packs for another commander

As a player entering his first SOC (and basically the same kingdom since the beginning), the number of commanders is a bit overwhelming. But first, cheers. I'm not F2P but not close to a whale, and don't mind spending when it makes sense. I have Boudica/ZL unlocked and working on them but now have to decide about Hermann. I got a lucky spin on the Wheel to summon him the first shot so there's that. I was working on Joan for my maxxed out Nevsky (I run with double relic max Mina now) but having trouble figuring out where to focus. Thanks for all the great information, you are my go-to for learning.

Try to get minimum investment for Joan first 5115 or 5515 then u can consider Herman P. U would just pair ZL/HP and Boudi/YSG, Nev/Joan and ur marches r looking solid

In wheel i selected Huo. I have Boudica P at 5531 and Zhuge at 5512. I will expertise Zhuge and think using Zhuge as primary. Omniarch do you thinkZhuge/Boudica is better pair than Zhuge as secondary?

Omni bro, great video as always!! Thanks big for this one!! Heres where im conflicted... so im just now starting to work on an archer march, starting with ZL who is currently at 5511, with little equipment so far, so im still like 3 or 4 months out on a really usable archer march. I see alot of longevity in ZL, considering hes basically ysg on steroids, and we all know how long he was relevant. I dont know whether i should dive right into herman once ive finished ZL, or do i just wait on the next archer cycle, or even infantry or cav where i suspect someone who will clear these poison stacks? My fear is investing in a commander whos going to get nerfed in the near future, losing the value hes going to have the next kvk or 2. Edit: im currently running 2 inf marches and a cav march in the likes of skippy/liu, guan/alex (i know😂), and nev/joan. The more i think about it, the more i think i should hang tight for the next inf cycle to maybe improve my second inf march, where ive already started a set of equipment that still needs improvement 🤔 DAAMN THESE DECISIONS!! 😂😂

@@OmniarchOfficial I appreciate the feedback, bro! As a back fill, I've been using him with mehmed in canyon for now, it does ok, though the skill proc is kinda slow. I do have a ysg at 5523, kinda slow working him with gh from dailies, considering I need the vip, but really don't need any of the other commanders atm. Maybe herman is the move I should make, but like you said, I'll re-evaluate once I finish ZL, and see where we're at. Thanks bro!! Great video 💪💪

Yes you always need at least 1 of each troop type on the field because some commanders of each troop type are super OP!

Not sure if I agree with your conclusion about the expertise. Yes, it will take a long time when he is fighting a 1v1 fight. But if his AoE hits three targets the count is 6 per turn and that will probably happen a lot in bigger brawls because his AoE is huge

He inflicts 6 stacks every time he uses his active skill and he needs to inflict 25 for his expertise to trigger. That means he needs to cast his active skill 5 times, however, his 4th skill will trigger on average once every 7 turns, reducing the total number of skill cycles required to 3. I did a whole video on this when they "nerfed" his skill descriptions!

I ran a python simulation, just brute forcing 10% chance, with a 3 second cool down. If the theoretical fight goes for 10k turns, the skill will cast 765 times. This is less than once every 13 turns. @@OmniarchOfficial There is no chance that it goes off every 7 seconds, though.

I am always a cycle to late... so I skipped Zhuge cuz I didnt bave sculps so I just had Nev/Joan and Scip/Liu Che and I am an Ark player so most likely I will just do a 2nd Cav march even though I love Inf, I am gonna do it for Ark, so yeah I am gonna skip all archers😂

I have boudica and zhuge and 1K gh. Currently running 2 inf, 1 arch, 1 cavs. And then 1 arch/cav for rss spread. So my question on the wheel is Hermann or Hou? My 5th march has been YSG/mehmed, or Saladin/Mehmed. Do I upgrade to Hermann or Hou?

For me, boudica exp isn't that worth for the head required, and yes, Hermann zhuge Is Better in fights since Hermann has AOE debuff. But boudica can still be used until you have a 5551 Hermann, You can put her with YSG as a second March, or use her with ashurbanipal.

I think you were incorrect in how long it will take to get the expertise to trigger. You said 2-3 full cycles. He inflicts 2 stacks per turn on up to 3 targets, thats 6 per turn possible. Best case scenario he gets it in 5 turns. Most likely 7-8 turns which is at least once per cycle.

Not having many sculptures to spend, I'm side-eyeing the 5% increased damage taken from cavalry on the 3rd skill. Is there any sense in leaving Hermann at 5300 or is it still better at 5311 even up against cavalry enemies? I've got Zhuge and Boudica both at 5311, I might not spend sculptures on Hermann at all for now.

5% more march speed isn’t a game changer tbh. That’s basically placing a “call of the loyal” on a march. The difference is not drastic to be frank. In a high seed kvk he will be invaluable in murderballs. I already have boudica and only run 1 archer march so I’m passing. Archers are squishy as hell and slow. That will never change.

Yeah the way I see it is that the extra march speed is just icing on the cake. It’ll still be slow but will overall outperform Boudica regardless

@@OmniarchOfficial I was a inf main like you. I like archers only in Orleans due to the aux skills or if you get lucky in HA with Edward or el cid skill which gives march speed. I’m in Orleans now and boudica/ZL with 2nd Edward and 3rd el cid makes them a monster. New players should 💯 get hermann. Older players… well it depends. I going to move from 2 cav 2 inf 1 archer to 3 cav 1 archer and 1 inf. when I do my 3rd cav (new commanders) I’ll roll back to hermann. Huo I’ve found to be a killing machine. Makes nev/joan seem ever so slightly dated. Happy new year bud

I also have boudica and zhuge maxed and only run 1 archer march and I feel like Herman is gonna make me bench my boudica. The aoe poison seems too good for my 5 march setup and I don't wanna bench her but he seems like he brings too much to the 5 March. Still looking for more info though lol

@@wellackchyually I hear you. Remember hermann is going to be so targeted that you don’t really get to experience his full potential. If you have huo, liu che , Joan, nev, William, scipio, Zl then why not if you have the GH. I love to sad face the target as fast as possible. I favour commanders like huo due to this. I would def wait a bit as his only just come out. A good thing with his release is that boudica will get some breathing room lol.

@soulstart89 mehhhh, I don't know man.... nev is definitely a great commander still, and I find he's still tankier than huo, though huo does get the kills faster. And the beauty of nev is when he's focused, everything hitting takes a defense reduction. That seems pretty valuable to me. Too bad neither are aoe commanders, though that would be way too op 😂😂😂

There is only one singular way to do ZL/Herman: I will be getting all the wrong talents, and foregoing a legendary accessory to shore up ZL/Herm. That is to say, Ill take 6% march speed from the verstatility tree, and I am taking out one mora's web to put in a talented call of the loyal. Also, my armaments will have some speed, and I have the leadership pants for 2% speed. That is the way I am doing ZL/Herm, or ZERM. I know it is wrong on so many levels, but it is also unquestionably the only right way to do Zerm. Cavs will not be able to touch ZERM in this configuration. Most Cavs, also, use slow builds. So, yeah.

@@pokerchannel6991bruh if you play in a high seed you won’t have to worry as much, just play in dot mode, they won’t focus Zerm and you can move all your archer march speed armaments to your slower archer march, that’s all.

I think zhuge is the better play. His AoE and archer health is insane. Then, if you want, do herman. But boudica/ZL is still a great march Edit:ZL full circle vs herman half circle... 🤷‍♂️

I skipped ZL due to expertise YSG and I didn't regret it, I will skip Hermann due to 5551 Boudica and my hospital won't regret it as well. I will invest those sculptures into expertise Liu Che to get the best commander in the game right now.

So maybe silly question, but does herman prime's poison stack disappear when he is sad faced same as the debuffs on a 1 troop debuff? Or do these the target stay poisoned until the target is sad faced?

Hes going to get targeted IMMEDIATELY out in the field. Where hes included in the march, it will be the highest priority to kill, considering how powerful these stacks will be. It's kinda crazy, honestly, particularly with zhuge primary. Prepare to have ALOT of wood and stone on hand 😂😂😂 Killer march 🤘🤘

I can indeed, confirm that LC is still one of the most ridiculous field commanders in the game, with no slow in sight. Hes a great investment, im really glad I did it. Skippy/LC is still probably best field march in game to date. That's not to say they'll be amazing forever, but im willing to bet it's going to be a LONG time before that pair is replaced as inf meta

Gonna say in terms of utility herman is better. 95% of commanders do skill damage. Liu only does damage and slow debuff Hou only does damage and slow debuff Herman does poison and defence debuff that stacks with nevsky. Even a haft dying herman march still does work where commanders only with damage do little.

Hermann is stronger than LC if you have 5 marches, but most people asking about investments don’t have everything maxed and meta, so LC is better the less marches you have. The more you have, the more you benefit from Hermann’s 3rd skill defense reduction and poison debuffs
