depends on the duration of the volunteering. if it's under 3 months, C-Type schengen visa, if it's more than 3 months, D type national visa

Hi sir, i applied for visa appointment in Abuja Nigeria and i have been receiving emails each week that my appointment has not been drawn .But it happened that i was waiting for the next draw on the 06/04/2024 and 13/042024 till now i have not received a message if i am drawn or not. And my documents Will epired in 5 months (September 2024). I don't know what is wrong or if i will no more have an appointment again.please sir,help me out to know what is at hand. Thank you sir. Don't know why tbh. I guess they want to know if you can take care of yourself before you get your first salary, or it might just be a way to make the visa more strict.
