What I loved the most about this is how very well aware you are of everyone's individual roles and who contributes what. I've never had a boss that seemed to have a firm grasp on what I even do. There are a lot of channels I watch regularly on RU-vid but I must say that this one is probably the only one where I know (of) the whole crew. I remember the episode when you made over James’ space, I recall Alanna’s graceful galloping from various videos, and we have ALL been loving the Graham cam recently. I LOVED this breakdown of how things work behind the scenes. I’ve been watching for a few years now and I have noticed such a positive evolution of this channel. You’ve done a fantastic job of putting together the team you have… the more you work together, the better your videos are. The chemistry between all of you is precious and I find myself laughing so much more, lately. I love the choices to keep the outtakes and laughing fits and overall goofy times as part of the episodes. Although I might be in the minority, I prefer makeovers done on everyday people over influencers with more access and income. I just think influencers get a lot already and it's rare for makeover shows to highlight everyday, hardworking, kind people and for those people to be rewarded.

Thank you so much, Alexandra, for this comprehensive and extremely honest video. It was really interesting and so gratifying to get the answers to so many questions and in such detail. Often, when successful people are asked how they 'made it', their answers can be disingenuous and flippant, leaving you none the wiser and making you feel as if it all happened by magic and they're not really willing to let you in on their secrets, in case you 'steal' them. This was just so refreshing. Talking about money is very 'vulnerable' as you said, and I feel people shy away from it because they might feel it's too personal, and they don't want to admit how much or how little they make. Despite your discomfort, you addressed it, and again, I'm so grateful. I only recently discovered you, and I've been binge-watching your videos. I'm obsessed. 😍 BTW, I live in the UK, so if you're ever in these parts, do consider dragging your team and your goodies here and hooking me up; I'm pretty sure there are brands here who'd love to work with you too. (I get first dibs on a makeover, though.)

Years ago when Barack Obama was campaigning for president Michelle Obama went out campaigning for him. I had an acting job in Ohio and went to see her speak at a high school gymnasium. She was fantastic. She spoke about student loans and that so many young people were picking careers to pay off their student loans and not picking careers because it was something they were passionate about. You are so passionate about your work and seem to have found your bliss professionally. What a beautiful thing that is. I would love a video on how you built this business from the start! I only just found you yesterday. One of the things I love about you and your channel so far is that you are filming everything even mess ups, laughter and real life which I think everyone should do because we do not live in a perfect world, like tv portrays, and because of that it is so easy to relate to all of you. It's honestly my comfort channel when I'm working, or sometimes I'll put it on when I'm cleaning my apartment and hoping for some inspiration! It's so refreshing to see a video like this, breaking down the real production and business side. It really does take some vulnerability to be so transparent about delegating, and needing a well rounded team to make this sustainable. I love your team's energy so much, and as someone who has worked in various production/entertainment roles, it's so validating to see them get their kudos! It's all about the gratitude, and it shows.

I think you can even give advice regarding home designs for some commission for extra cash flow. Like if some one has a room with some furniture and want to improve something you can give them ideas or color palette to match what they have (maybe creating mood board so they might follow it on their account). I don’t know if my idea is clear or not. But it will give people outside the city to have a chance to have your touch. With your own roles so you can protect yourself and your team

Thanks for having this video! I heard from someone that some ppl who do makeovers dont leave/gift everything to the recepient and that made me curious/sad at what's really happening behind these makeovers. I mean i can understand why some ppl would. Thanks for being honest and transparent abt your practices (that u are one of those who truly gift everything, wysiwyg) and it kinda made me feel like there's still hope in this world. Lol

This adds up the story of your journey and I have been following your channel since the time you were much younger and doing things on your own, yes Alana was there with you. The fact that you shared all the intricacies means a lot for people who follow your work. Also a special mention of the "ego" means a lot for me personally cos we all need to check ourselves first. It's a very long shot, but it would be great if your company could come to SW Florida, particularly in Ft Myers. So many ppl have lost homes and are moving to apartments and having to start all over from scratch. It would be cool if some of them could have a gorgeous home done by Team AG. I love your channel and am so stinkin proud of you, Alexandra!
