The Kushner kids attend the same Jewish day school and nursery school as my now-grown sons did. I frequently hear about these kids, and the teachers have NEVER seen the parents-only the nannies, one per child. They also call their Secret Service agents “Mommy” or “Daddy.” As their nominal grandfather might say: Sad!

If you work 12-14 hours per day, sleep at least 6 hours and have three kids, when would you have time to even develop enough intimacy to lead to marital spats? She has 6 hours a day she isn't at work or asleep, and I at least hope she is spending a minimum of 3 hours with her kids a day when she's not traveling. That's 3 hours of free time to potentially be intimate and every Saturday on a week with no business travel. I spend more time with my dog than she spends with her husband. I've always thought their pairing seems to be more about mutual benefit and network sharing than true, deep romance. But, only another workaholic can tolerate a workaholic spouse (if there's any desire to have a functional marriage). My own parents married for love, but I often wasn't sure where they were at any given time, other than on a business trip. I appreciate the commitment and drive, but from experience, their family is unquestionably suffering for it. As a child of high earning workaholics that traveled a lot, I can say that it wasn't awful (I'm not complaining), but I wouldn't choose to raise a family like that. At least not with kids so young.

Yes! They are both career motivated . Do they really spend quality time as parents? They seem to spend a lot of time traveling for their businesses. The kids will grow quickly . They have enough time to devote to their careers once the buddy’s fly the coup/Spend the short time span that is allowed with your children before they cast you aside to pursue their own particular interest .

I really like them both. They combine family and business because that is how both grew up. But I think they make a really cute couple, and both have very level heads on their shoulders. I am definitely the cheerleader for all the family and their spouses!
