Your jewish if ur mother is jewish and same for her. If your great grandmother was really jewish, always via the mom (via the dad the jewish state doesnt trasmit) that until ur mom, then ur jewish, no matter the other religions you observ

G_d said to the sons of Israel in the written Torah to Remember and Observe the Sabbath day. Nowhere in the written Torah says how to observe the Sabbath. So in essence yes, there is an Oral Torah, or the Torah Shebaal Peh as we know it that instructs the sons of Israel on how to observe the Sabbath. Yes, they are both definitely important in Orthodox Judaism. Hope that answers your question.

You need to calculate. Is it possible for your great grandmother to be Jewish but your mother to not be Jewish? Grandmother is Jewish, gave birth to a male Jew, married ( in theory ) a non Jewish woman, then if that woman is your grandmother, not Jewish. Conclution: not necessarily
