Rabbi Manis is an extremely gifted Storyteller. He could tell us the Tale of the Toothbrush that got lost & found itself in the trashcan, & how it fell on the floor of the Bathroom when the trashcan was emptied, and then got placed in bleach to eventually return to use a a kitchen tool for getting bits of burned food out of saucepan lids. Much gratitude from Spain

Maybe I should tell something about my story.. I think I died when I was about 4, but begged and pleaded with God to let me stay. I felt that I had much to accomplish for His glory. And I was allowed back.. OR if not allowed back, I was allowed to live out a life as though it were my human life, but it’s just like a movie that feels real, nothing more. ..I think.

Glad you mentioned that, it''s a great topic. I follow Rabbi Friedman for some years now, I am so grateful to him for all of his teachings, became a real teacher for me, a Rabbi. I also am not Jewish but I suspect my ancestry is, from my father's name, Iosef, and also my maternal grandmother'story, but I have no proofs and no means to find out. Coming back to your story, I know too I've been dead, at least once, and the world is full of near death experience stories that even the doctors begin to take in consideration with no actual scientific explication, they just can't dismiss it. I would like so much to hear Rabbi Friedman speak about it. Thank you for your comments and may everyone here be blessed ❤

Yes! This is why causing another's death or even your own; is not forgivable. Because the soul leaves (that's the definition of death). And you can become aware of the fact that you are dead now and again. The body serves the soul. The spirit serves the soul. Only the redeemer is granted soul after soul when confronted by death during his incarnation. But he is beyond death because he is the reason of all life (regardless if he knows who he is or not).

My great grandparents were Jewish - fact. My great grandmother taught my mom about being Jewish, kosher food, thinking, etc. She taught me. However, I can't find any record of my great grandparents to be able to make aliyah, but I KNEW them and even have a photo of 5 generations including my great grandmother! I was never given the opportunity to attend yeshiva, or weekly shabbat. For some reason they kept our Jewishness a secret. Why do Jewish people not want to help me reconnect with my Jewish ancestry?
@nomorecensoringme
@nomorecensoringme Год назад
We Jews don't get involved with people who haven't had their lineage verified by rabbinical, or other valid, sources. Even though your great grandmother, Jews are matrilineal, might have been a Jew, you may need to go through the conversion process. I'm not a rabbinic authority to say definitively. If it's important to you, you'll pursue it further. If you want to know about why Jews are secretive during those years, you can look up videos about the Holocaust, about Jews in Russia and other countries where we were abused, forced to convert or die, etc. You have a lot of history to catch up on. Girls going to yeshiva is a whole conversation. Shabbat, attending services, being shomer shabbos, are all choices you can make as an adult. As is which shul to join, learning Hebrew, etc. You may decide not to convert though to be engaged with our virtual community. It's all up to you. Best wishes in your journey of discovery.

Yeh, Dr Mona also keeps saying ''Christianity'' when what they both are describing is Roman Catholicism. For, most non-Catholic Christian streams are technically on the same page with regards to waking up and being hands-on lights of the world, and healing and helping make Earth His dwelling. Emphasized in non-Catholic streams is Christ's humility and sense of servitude being a living example of how to serve in a manner in which God can be with us. In both the sense of God's presence Grace and power within our works in service, and that we are playing our part in the work we rest and celebrate in the Great Banquet! A real work, for real lives to take part and share in. We have more ground to stand together upon here guys! Let's alll wake up perhaps? MAnis view of ressurection is exactly the same as non-catholic viewpoints. However, Manis has MORE of a solid grasp upon it in his expression of it. Perhaps knowing the soul (nephesh?) is from/of God, and is the source of our body's more coomendable drives, especially when we get our bodies tuned up into 'obeying' our soul's gift of being in service to God. ity's ALL there, at least in Word, in non-cathoilic teaching, and in fact in certain catholic streams like an American catholic Franciscan order of monasteries/grounds/land where they marry, have families, and obey those procreative commands, and also believe much of exactly what Manis conveys. So we have many little pockets of souls to reach out to here than to be seperate from. OH! Also, apart from possible fairy tales a catholic grandmother may misguidedly tell kids, Manis and Dr Mona need learn that almost all maturer forms of non-catholic forms do not teach that we die and go to heaven as angels. That's just silly talk. The central heart of non-catholic Christianity is exactly on the same page as the above talk, even though many only know it in their heads, but not fully worked out into their lives yet. But, come on. Give'm a break like a little brother who's only been around for 2000yrs. We have more to connect than to not connect, and solid grounds to appreciate the differences as we work and serve together, as working and serving are a part and parcel and right of passage in common underlaying it all.

Something (new idea to me) really caught my attention in the beginning: that Kabbala has been opened up because it's towards the end of history. At first I was thinking that we certainly aren't more worthy or advanced now than we were before it was open, so why? Was it right to do that? Then you said It's like when your mother starts to tell you things only when she's old and it's getting close to the end. Ready or not, here it comes. Then it made more sense to me, especially since my own mother is in that stage now, sometimes clearing up old mysteries or telling funny stories, sometimes repeating things she's said many times, and sometimes telling me things I'd rather not hear.

At 30 : 25 he is saying Christians don't have the answer for : why we are here ( in our life). We have. I am a Christian. So, he is mistaken in this question. I listen him for a while. I learn a lot from him. I like him. I studied a little the 5 major world religions. I am getting closer back to my original Roman Chatolic religion. But the second most important spirituality and religion , as a guide liht comes from the Kaballah ( sorry about the spelling mistakes.) Tora and Talmud. The other 4 world religions are far not that satisfactory , as I see so far. So, even just the word : Judeo- Christianism is a very significant term for me. Regards, József

I like him a lot. An other thought of his also not correct when he mention, in heaven we will be like angels all look like the same. We Christians beleive we will keep our individual personal characteristics. That's comforting most of us. I like him when he teaching us about his " field" -- the Jewish beleives. That's in he is an expert ( although I can't judge that). I guess is not very fortunate when he has a quick thouth of the Christian faith,--- if that is not correct. Of course he is extremely smart and wise. Therfore, it's a little surprising to hear little " mistakes" from such a nice, and sympathetic man like him. I will continue listening him. He is a treasure for " all" of us.

Dear Rabbi, one more question: You are saying that G’d is waiting first for us to make a move, make a decision, and then he is making a plan according to our move. If this is the case then it means that G’d doesn't know what will be in the future given that he has to wait first for our move. Consequently, it means that G’D doesn’t know everything?
@csflower
@csflower 2 года назад
We are taught Hashem knows the end of a thing before it’s beginning. That is great wisdom surely He can discern what the future will be. The prophet’s spoke of the future - what Hashem told them to speak. When He who created time lives in an eternity outside of time as well as in it. He can see the total outcome. Waiting for us to move to make a move - or a plan is including us in that plan. He knows every possibility of every decision because He created wisdom in the first place. So why would He not have the wisdom to see what lies ahead? Just read the book of Proverbs - Hashem is the giver of wisdom. This not from the Rabbi but I hope you like it. From a Chassidic woman in a Chassidic community for many, many years. B’H

Diving into Kabbalah requires a firm grasp of Judaism. The Torah, the Talmud, the Ethics of the Fathers, even the Tanya. If you want to get a healthy smattering of Kabbalah I'd suggest G-d is a Verb, by Rabbi David Cooper. It's intense, hard for some to get through, which is Kabbalah, so it may take more than one reading. May you find what you're searching for.

I had a Kabbalah teacher. I'm not Jewish but I had a Rabbi who I appreciate, teach me well. After you climb the tree of life and get through each sepharot. Look up the Kabbalah "tree of life", watch some teachers show you and make it easier. If you can find a rabbi , that's better. It isn't easy. But it's not hard like people say. Knowing the Torah, Talmud are good , but get the Zohar too. It could take months to get it down but it will help you have a better life and shows you that magic is very real. That's the "light" side of Kabbalah. The other end which is black magic and many people can't finish because it isn't easy and you have to know what you're doing; is called the Qlippoth. Or tree of death. Same thing , but it's the dark side but it is worth knowing. The Zohar will help .

Liberty is real,. Self-glory is unreal,.Yews go for their truth, christians go for their version, buddist have their perception, hindoes have a subliem option, muslims go their challenge,.. Just dont bite one-another when on the way home,. at the end we all die anyhow,..............

Ooh calling Brahma Abraham, spicy take... o_o But what if you're right though, that'd be amazing. And it's not impossible. Sea trade between the ancient Near East and India was common, and we see influence of ancient Greek sculpture in India very early in history, or what we have are (in the Greek archaic period) Greek statues that look just like ones found in a different civilization in India, NOT the Hellenistic stuff in other words long before Alexander the Great. There was a lot of trade between the civilizations and a lot of exchange of ideas. Whether India or Israel first conceived of what's now God is a tricky matter for historians to pin down, but much like the archaic Greek sculptures, we know there was some culture borrowing from another, because of striking similarities.

I can't believe I listened to 3 hrs of jibberish! AND that it seemed like 1/2 hr? 🤪It all makes sense because the Jews have had the longest amt of time to understand these teachings.... they have been thinking about it for the longest time.... since it was all written down.... and let's face it.... it does involve them mostly.

Mudessir 1 Ey giysisine bürünüp kenara çekilen! 2 Kalk da uyar! 3 Rabbinin yüceliğini duyur! 4 Temizle giysilerini! 5 Uzaklaştır kendinden pisliği! 6 Çok bularak başa kakma yaptığın iyiliği! 7 Ve yalnız Rabbin için dayanıklı kıl benliği! / Saffat 182 Hamt olsun âlemlerin Rabbi Allah'a!... Artık yüzünü Mescid-i Haram yönüne çevir. Nerede olsanız yüzünüzü Mescid-i Haram yönüne döndürün. Allah dilerse, başlarınızı tıraş etmiş, saçlarınızı kısaltmış olarak güven içinde, korku duymadan Mescid-i Haram'a mutlaka gireceksiniz.
