Rick has def made Hans atleast try again n that’s a fact. Dude was about to kill his own self off by lack of new equally good material and appearances. Still gotta side w the real comedians/Dogs and say Rick was def funnier and will do just fine regardless if he has to stray from KT n do his own thing….
It was an audience vote. It definitely sounded like the audience voted for Hans over Ric. I personally thought Ric was funnier but I wasn’t at the show.
It's odd that Tony won't let Hans lose, considering how long Hans has been on the show. Should have Hans replaced now that he is succeeding on his own outside of Kill Tony.
@@DJR711 Because the crowd has an established bias for Hans. The comedians don't and they all thought Rick won. Even Shane Gillis, one of the top young rising comedians today, thought Rick won. To have guests on to vote, and their votes essentially not count, is a rig job. You think wrestling-loving Tony is above rigging a match? It's like pitting Hulk Hogan vs the Iron Sheik and then having the crowd call who won. You think they're ever not going to vote for the Hulkster?! Get real, brother

@@jaylegleiter6669 I thought it was a work as soon as Tony pushed it to NYE. Tony being such a wrestling fan definitely plays into it. I'll go even further, I think they pumped in crowd noise on the soundboard. It's pretty easy to pull off in an arena. Pro sports teams been doing it for years.

Kill Tony is a modern day sideshow attraction. It's only natural that Hans would outperform Ric in that setting. In a setting conducive to standup, Hans wouldn't be allowed in the building.
@@stino42 Thats what people are saying, supposedly because of being at Jan 6, but Im pretty sure she stopped at the point of incriminating herself and only said she was there and stayed in an area she was allowed to be. I wonder if they went and reviewed security footage to try and identify her. Because that would really be fucked up. Someones watched the Kill Tony video, and gone to great lengths to investigate and find her.
@@stino42 Thank you for understanding what is going on. I surrendered to the court after my attorney negotiated terms for my surrender. I never said I “stormed the capitol”. Tony repeatedly said that as a way of teasing me and being funny. I was allowed in, but the DOJ is arresting all the peaceful protestors who assembled at the Capitol. I was charged with 4 misdemeanors. My arrest had nothing to do with appearing on the show, but my sentencing likely will. Tyrants hate truth. @KillAlley has a trailer up on RU-vid for a documentary they are making.It’s worth watching. I love #KillTony and still put my name in the bucket every week.
My issue was how Hans treated Ric… it was gross and I lost a lot of respect for his lack of emotional restraint and really nasty insults that weren’t funny just vitriolic. Really was uncomfortable to watch, lol.
@@BRANDRUMZ It was a bit immature, but on Redban's channel, he was explaining how most of the Kill Tony crew felt offended that he even challenged Hans. So nobody liked Ric Diez and Redban personally said his jokes are mostly the same. While I agree Hans has been waning lately, Ric barely has been on the scene and it's a lot easier to be funny when you've only done a few sets while Hans has been doing it for years.
I'm waiting for the episode to drop so I can watch it, as of now I have no official say, but if what you're saying is true, it was favoritism which is real lame If someone champion fighter , loses a fight, they don't still give him the win because of his past. I think Rick Diaz is funny af and maybe he hasn't been on the scene because people don't let him. If he was made a regular, he would probably most likely move from Brussels to Texas and work just as hard as Hans. Idk.

Hans is consistent, as in he may not be the funniest guy around, but he has enough experience where he will do decent enough for some folks to laugh. Unless the guy challenging him is really good and lives in Austin, Hans is never going to lose. If you were a business owner, would you rather have a guy that works very well one day but is lackluster rest of the month or a guy who does okay throughtout the month?

imo Hans and Ric both came with their worst minute but Ric's was still significantly better, the crowd laughed harder during Ric's jokes but for whatever reason they cheered hard for Hans when it came to the decision, super weird.
I read somewhere in the comments from someone who was there and they said that the clapping was louder for ric and that the podcast is jacked with. Idk the validity to it

Most of us who sign up very Monday were there. And the few homeless signups like Drew Santana liv in their car so transportation is not a problem, although Drew hasn’t been around since Tony kicked him off stage.

Being on Kill Tony had nothing to do with my arrest. Tony gave me an opportunity to talk about what is happening to our 1st Amendment rights. I am grateful to him and hope to be pulled again.

Ricks applause was constant strong roar that Tony had to shut down as it would of went for ages. Hans applause popped a lil higher for half a second and then died in the arse. Rick was robbed!

Both shows were brutal. Bucket pulls were horrible and even the regulars weren’t as good as they normally are… But that only goes to show how unbelievably tough it is to perform in an arena. I think the regulars should have got 5 minutes each. It’s impossible to be funny in 1 minute in an arena. Either way it was great to watch.
I think Han's interviews are usually more interesting than his sets. That being said, it's not an easy job for a new 60 seconds every week, but if you have that opportunity, that would be the first thing u take care of every week
I appreciate your recognizing me as a serious comic. That was me with the red beard center screen. Watching unfunny ppl get pulled and the same ones more than once. That has been my life weekly since moving to TX last July. Driving 6hr round trip each week to sign up for KT. No worries though, God has a plan and when I get pulled I'm ready with jokes and a life of insanity for the interview
