Top tier video! It really brought back some great memories. Riot really shafted their player base. All those years spent unlocking/buying skins for them to turn around and give people the middle finger. The worst part was how shady and secretive they were about the whole process. Many players that weren't paying close attention had their computers bricked all of a sudden when vanguard auto installed. Anyways, I'll definitely miss our league sessions! Take care buddy!
I do miss laning with you and our fun, crazy comps. I sure wish we would have gotten to climb up the ranked ladder. You're an amazing ADC who never gives up! Yeah, Riot royally messed up and I wish I could see the number of players they lost. Apparently it's visible with how low the number of ranked games were in what used to be the busiest time. Was waiting for your video for so long and then i kinda forgot but randomly remembered today, haha. I stopped immediately im may. Sometimes i feel a slight urge but overall Im happy. Also i found more time to stream because of that since ive never streamed my LOL games.
@One_and_Forsaken thank you for remembering and checking out my video! I've also stayed away ever since I uninstalled and proud of it. Four months sober lol. I do really miss playing but I've been socializing more and making time for other passions. I will watch Arcane 2 when it comes out and I'll watch the World Championship like I do every year. As far as playing, I'm not going back as long as Vanguard is enabled. I'm working on a video about my personal video game history and I'll also make one about Arcane. I don't miss the toxicity of the game but I miss the actual mechanics and the satisfaction of winning a game. I'm still searching for another game to fill that hole
@@drezdendolla.9143 In my case i might just end up going back to playing a MMORPG at some point but for now there are so many offline games in my steam library that need to be played :D
33 years old and been playing since season 4 this game really is an addiction i was able quit once for 6 months but that was it hearing you talk about the csing sounds and such really hit home great video!

Quitting was one of the hardest things I've had to do, because I love this game so much, but Vanguard was the nail in the coffin for me. I have been more productive and getting more fresh air since quitting but I really do miss the game a lot. Just watching e-sports now since it just started back up 😅
5 years ago my pc needed repairs and i delayed sending it to fix it for a year because reasons anyway i noticed that i was happier and did better in life when it came back and played again i just couldnt find the desire to play unless it was with friends because solo play in that game is unfun so i can say its easy to un addict yourself if you stop for a few months plus it helps the game is in a very poor state cheaters bugs ballance issues so i dont feel the need to play it
Yeah, it was hard uninstalling but I have been spending more time taking my doggy out on walks, reading, editing and just relaxing. At least I can still follow e-sports and that helps. And yeah, what I miss the most is playing with my buddy. The game was way more fun when you played with friends
I never got into League, I think its because of the click to move movement honestly, just added too much to track. I have gotten into a couple "MoBA-like" battle royale style games that have been in Beta/Alpha that I really like tho that make me want to try LoL. But I know the movement renders me terrible at it, haha. Anyway if you want another game to try eventually I would keep an eye out for Seekers of Skyveil and Project Loki, they have sign ups for their respective Alpha/Beta open. Also a game that I'm going to pick up while waiting for either of those to be up full time is Battle Crush when it comes out in like a week.

Thank you very much for pointing out the addictivenis of modern gaming as I feel this is becoming an unhealthy trend thatany people are not aware about this problem. I've personally tried to oversea the increasing fomo with events and battle passes as I still enjoyed my time as a skarner and tank main, but as soon as mythics came out, champs and visual effects became more overseizuring to my eyes and simply champs that relied on basic movement skills rather than complicated dash patterns, I ended up quitting the game slowly but steadily (I tried it again at the end of last year, just to be prompted with the vanguard announcement then). The same thing is somewhat happening to other games like wow (like the inability to disable heavy effects in raids which made them literally unplayable for me or the increasing fomo by throwing time limited cosmetics at you) and I assume that vampire survivors had a good part in raising awareness on how easily we are manipulated by blinking lights and big numbers. However I recently have been interest more in old gaming like dos amiga etc. as I never withnessed this era (although I played a few titles like Day of Tentacle, Dungeon keeper and turrican in the past) and am therefore very interested in your next video to hear more about it. I like about that era that, besides everything being more focused on quality than quantity, that due to the acessability of this tech generation being on a computer rather than a console, the creative possibilities felt much less limited.

I played a lot of World of Warcraft years back and I remember how overwhelming the raids would be. And they could last for hours if we kept wiping to the bosses. I do plan on drawing more, but am currently out of space to proberly work on (the videos where made on a 1.20 desk with my lighting table and equipment, handycam etc. which took away most of the space). My arts teachers favorite artist was Dali as well, though I never asked him why. I do like Max Ernst (under other a surrealist) and Edward Munch (under other an expressionist).
Biggest blackpill about League and Dota: The only reason League is more popular is due to aesthetics and lore, Dota's characters are all ugly and very basic, they don't even have actual names, if Dota puts more effort in the characters, it would bring to it pretty much all the people that left League. A lot of people love to make jokes about League's champs looking like Disney characters, but that right there is it's sauce. Imagine League characters all looking uglier just like in Dota, gg for them, would actually go bankrupt in a month. But the blackpill for anyone that left League, Dota developers have to appeal to their core, already established playerbase, in other words, the people that like these designs to begin with.
I 100% agree, that is the reason DOTA doesn't appeal to me so much, even though everybody says it's the closest I could get to League, apart from playing Wild Rift on my phone. I am surprised the creators of DOTA haven't put more effort into their character design, lore, etc. I miss League so much :-(((( But I am not going back while Vanguard is still enabled.
@@drezdendolla.9143 Yh i get your feeling, but like i mentioned, Dota playerbase is older guys that like the "Orc" aesthetic, that's why the game looks like that, the map looks much better than League tho, and even has day and night in it, that's much better than the elemental drakes, also, i think there are 4 different aesthetics on the same map, one looks like Demacia, other Ionia and other the Shadow Isles, it's crazy. Let's hope League's playerbase starts dropping a lot, to see if they go back.
