Woaw I'm Tahitian and lived in Tahiti my whole life. I never heard of "if you sweep the floor at night or it vitamins you'll let bad spirits in". You must have been with very "special" people or they were making fun of you with a serious face... This is one big thing with Tahitian people, we love to make fun of others. It can be hard for strangers but don't get angry. It is not malicious.

Huh, you must be better than me then TwT, born is Tahiti, dont speak tahitian. Just, most if the time, we talk french, so theres french kind of everywhere (But other language too bcs... most of the economy is based in the tourism lol)

One of the first places to ring in the New Year. I am here in Kansas, USA at 2:45 am on a Friday December 31. Papeete it is 10:45pm on Friday Night. They got over an hour till January 1st.
