In today's video I watch & react to a hilariously terrible documentary called "The Truth About LSD" by the foundation for a drug free-world. This documentary includes some of the worst possibly selected candidates for a non biased documentary about the effects of this substance, and is more or less a series of endless facepalms. The documentary has no problem spreading debunked myths and one-sided explanations about what people can expect from this substance, and so I had a marvelous time mocking them.
After watching the unintentional satire of the documentary I proceed to read the rest of their god forsaken website in the hopes of maybe clarifying some of the misinformation spewed by the foundation for a drug-free world. I hope you enjoy this video and find this poor foundation as unintentionally funny as I did.

@@b23beatz it can hit in 5 minute's not the drug effects but once I took 600mcg and the effect was immediate within 15-20 mins time was melting away and visual changes where notable fuzzyness and light breathing had already started within half an hour I was fully enveloped in the trip but the first 5 mins j felt incredibly uncomfortable and was moving around due to taking both at the same time rather than taking 300 than 300 a little later

Lsd made my life better. It gave me a deeper appreciation for the smaller details in life and permanently gave me an understanding i came to on the trip of the scale of the universe, tiny to massive and where i am at as a human on that scale. It also made me take better care of my self in the small ways i was slacking like keeping my toenails and fingernails cut more consistantly, brushing my teeth more consistently, and all these small things i was slacking a bit in for no reason because those things about myself really bothered me when i saw them in the trip. I got a deeper realization of how my body is my vessel and i should make it as good of a vessel as possible so i picked lifting and running back up and worked harder to gain some wieght

I did LSD at 14 and did it in a dimly lit basement with mustard yellow painted walls, people I barely knew even though I have social anxiety, and we smoked weed. I had a panic attack while smoking weed because the social anxiety hit me so I went to a room by myself and laid down(I should’ve gone outside immediately). After about 30 minutes I decided to go outside and I felt much much better. I don’t regret doing LSD, I regret not being smart about it. I would do it again, especially now that I know how to do it properly

The guy at 7:55 said the direct opposite of the effect it had on me. If anything it opened doors, widened my perspective on things and really opened my mind to different ideas and possibilities and even people. I used to have a really short fuse and would get upset/angry very easily, yet after my experiences on LSD I can honestly say that it has improved my quality of life. Although I now truly understand the futility of life (side effect) I don't feel the need to disappear into the woods and never shave and bathe in a river, or shoot myself in the head, or anything. If anything it made me want to make the most out of what I enjoy doing in my life and really experience what living and being free really is.

Out of my 57 trips, only 3 of them I would consider 'bad', the other 54 ranged anywhere from a great time up to massive positive life changing experiences. 1 of those 3 'bad trips' was unpleasant due to the amplication of my sheer tiredness. The other 2 were due to a combination of poor environments & low quality people. Once I removed myself from those places & people, the rest of those 2 trips were a decent time.

Hi Quentin. I agree with the general idea of your video. It is clear that this prevention site, and probably several others, does not make nuances and employs barriers to dialogue (or strait up lies). I personally believe that everyone should try magic mushrooms once in their lifetime, primarily for personal development reasons. But when I give this advice to someone, I also take care to mention that these substances are not without risks (I myself have experienced periods of depersonalization which have been painful). I think it's easy to get drawn into all the potential benefits of a substance to the point of forgetting that you have to take psychedelics seriously. To counter the social stygma, well-meaning people can overlook the potential dangers. All this to say that while I strongly believe in the potential of these drugs, I do try to be open, to preach caution, and to present objective facts while spreading knowledge. I don't know if going into caricature is the best way to achieve these goals.

Hey, thanks for this as always! I've had some incredible experiences with lsd! Lol, yes...even, "talked to aliens." At 53 years old, I'm a late bloomer, doing lsd for the first time at 48 years old. My Scientist parents never did it...so, never grew up in that sort of environment. But wow! The lsd, besides the visuals, has had a continuing quality each time I've done it.. the same aliens come back & talk.The first time they contacted was when I stared at the Sun (had sunglasses on.) They were talking to me/revealing their nature behind the Sun.. it was like they were using the power of the Sun, or it's "lens" of power talk to me. Crazy Af! These beings looked abit like transformers, but way more futuristic exoskeleton suits, that also doubled up as, "living "spaceships"... they could go anywhere, through anything.. they were pure energy, & needed the suits to "contain" their form, and communicate/reach lower states of material dimensions. The suits were shimmering rainbow-colored, dragon scale / nano-tech-like. It was like the lsd tunes me into a whole other reality, and it doesn't freak me out anymore, I see it like a "language tool of consciousness" for higher states of awareness.

Im addicted to spring water. Have been for the last 30 years. It started out simple enough- a sip here, a sip there. Then I stopped talking to my friends and family, because water tasted "bland" to them. I didn't care. I didn't need real connections anymore. I've seen many people like this ,they still talk about that wrong and stupid concept: you loose your mind ,leave and never come back if they had a little bit of knowledge to what they're about to intake , they wouldn't feel lost or loose their mind .

LSD and Ayahuasca are two things that immensely helped me in my darkest time and put on the journey of self-awareness and happiness. I am from Pakistan and beleive me some of the most talented youth here use these two things!
