Keep in mind the speed thing is only for time trials as speed can heavily buff things like bullet bill and golden mushrooms meaning speedy combos can still have a fighting chance most of the time this also goes for the golden combo and the golden combos bad acceleration is probably metal Mario

I Know the meta has change in the modded MK7 there a lot more variety compared to the vanilla game but in MK7 I will always use the Metal Mario, B Dasher, Slick tires, gold glider or super glider or beast glider to show my skills what I’m capable of against the meta of B Dasher or Blue 7 monster tire, swooped glider para glider or flower glider or peach parasol glider med.

Mini-Turbo is the most important stat in mario kart. Speed is generally useful especially during the bag meta since you can get to the top easily but the speed stat is a liar since there are like 4 different kinds of speed. Accel kinda sucks because you never want to be getting hit in the middle of the pack but to either bag or frontrun. Both of which don't get you hit as often.
A good tip I’ve learned when it comes to alternate paths is: if a way through the track is full of speed boosts, like the anti gravity walls, it’s going to be the slower option (few exceptions)
yeah that's very true! i swear, the paths are always made to look faster with all the speed boosts, but when you actually take them you'll clearly see the difference
