I like the idea that Mayor Trustable is secretly Nadakhan because 1… the surname “Trustable” is very on the nose and Ninjago has a tendency to make pun or ironic names, 2. He’s a shapeshifter with a lust for power so taking the form of a leading government official makes sense… especially if he has a grudge against the Ninja, he technically has the authority to screw them over. But when it comes to the New Ninja, I doubt they’re his OG crew because at the end they were betrayed by him so they’d be fools to trust him again. So I like to think that maybe the new Ninja are just some civilian Ninja wannabes who made wishes with Nadakhan to become ninja. But the ironic consequence that Nadakhan made for them was that they were still obnoxious and poorly trained.

@@DexilejJWell actually to further go along with your theory (even if satirical), back when Skybound was airing, on the official LEGO RU-vid channel they posted shorts that explained the origins of each member of Nadakhans crew. In Dogshanks origin video, Nadakhan transformed a Regular Woman into… whatever Dogshank is now. And in Monkey Wrench’s origin video, Nadakhan fused a Regular Man and a Monkey into the now metallic Monkey Wrench. So it wouldn’t be too far fetched to say Nadakhan couldve did it again to transform Dogshank, Monkey Wrench, Doubloon, and Clancy into Regular People to be the New New Ninja
+ remember during the last episode of sky bound the way back jay wished nobody ever found the teapot of tyrahn so how could it be nadakhan unless he defied destiny just like morro
We didn’t see Trustable help rebuild the monastery either. Either he was the only fatality during the overlord’s attack or he decided to never come back to Ninjago city after what happened and if I could I would make him go face to face with a dilophosaurus
Or he is still the mayor of Ninjago but still has a negative opinion of the ninjas. Surely he had to angrily and reluctantly revoke their status as enemies of the state because otherwise he would turn the entire population of Ninjago against him if he still sees them as criminals. I hope that in Dragons Rising he is no longer the mayor or at least he died in the merge.
Minor thing on the new ninja, based on how quickly he turned on his own crew after getting infinite wishes (spoiler alert for a season that aired 7 years ago) I wouldn't put it last Nadakhan to get himself a new crew who believes in him. The new ninja are just gullible enough to believe mayor trustable is a person that has existed for all this time, and just competent enough to enforce the mayor's will
It's a very interesting theory. The possibility of Nadakan disguised as Mayor Trustable is a theory I never would of thought of. It would be awesome if this was actually true.

Honestly, Crystalized should’ve the mayor be one of bad guys in this season. Whether or not it would’ve been Nadakhan, it’s up to interpretation at this point. Speaking of which, I think that Pythor should’ve been the Vengstone buyer and not Harumi who should’ve stay dead in my opinion.

In the beginning of the ice chapter I think clutch found the teapot and freed him as we see with a orange poof....wait if that's so then how is clutch in the seasons past the ice chapter? He could be nadakhan because if we take the beginning of skybound clouse activates it and gets his "wishes" and ends up being trapped in the teapot then the sword of souls but the sword of souls wouldn't be around because it would be destroyed so he could have done the same with clutch then shape-shifted into him and is pulling the strings like in skybound

Nadakhan can shape shift so he could just look like a normal human so your theory is possible, but I don’t think wish to be president is needed, basically he could just look like normal human and try and join the presidential campaign
