I also think you should have mentioned Aqua's role in this: In BBS, she was going to give Sora the ability to wield her Keyblade, yet she decided not to because it would make He and Riku fight like she did with Terra, so she advises Sora to look out for Riku if he ever followed the path of darkness. I personally believe this advice is what led Sora's heart to retrieve Riku's Keyblade

I agree with your theory. That is a very good deduction why he received Riku's keyblade.

was Roxas worthy of Sora's keyboard more than Sora if so, then Wayword Wind keyblade does not recognise Sora yet as being worthy.

Kingdom key is actualy the light of the worlds made manifest soras light is dull and ordinary rikus light is just like kigdom key but he fell to darkness so kigdom keys light gose down the chain of connections his closest friend and the light he follows. Remeber sora cant summon a keyblade like riku dose he wassent chosen like he was. Sora got lucky but in a sad way riku fell to darkness. At first he was a delivery boy kigdom key knew he would look for riku but when riku embrased the darkness ansem gave him he wasent riku anymore so it decided to stay with an honst and loving guy that can connect so easily with others wich in turn powers it up. Sora" i know now i dont need the key blade, my friends are my power" that conviction that love to protect and care for his friends the pure light that ventus gave sora at that moment it knew sora was it the right choise. Riku lost his will and strength sora keeps gaining more and more friends in turn making the light in him shine just like a collection of hearts aka as bright as kingdom hearts. Kigdom key is the new keys to kigdom hearts when ansem threten to take the remaning light away tho false light is light and hearts can thrive in it.

It has already been stated as to why Sora can wield a keyblade, it was at the end of 3D. When he has that conversation with Xigbar and Xemnas, he even states he knows that the keyblade didn't choose him but that he is proud to have it. Sora has the keyblade out of sheer luck but it chose to stick with him because he proved how strong his heart was, the keyblade deemed him a worthy master, not a person.
@gabrielfelipecastrotorres6113
@gabrielfelipecastrotorres6113 10 лет назад
Part of that was wrong, this is why. Ventus originally wielded the keyblade that Sora wields, the reason that Sora got his keyblade was because Sora inherited the keyblade form Venus' power, but the reason he can wield it is cuz he has a strong heart filled with light, plus that keyblade was suppose to be the keyblade of Riku as seen when Riku takes Sora's keyblade and seas that he was the rightful owner of it, but the keyblade chose Sora because his heart was strong and filled with light, not like Riku's. Plus the only reason that Riku had the keyblade was cuz he touched Terra's keyblade, so it's noticeable that Sora inherited the keyblade form Ventus as seen because it's the same keyblade that Ventus wielded near the end of Birth By Sleep.
@stephensalazar5352
@stephensalazar5352 10 лет назад
Gabriel Felipe Castro Torres Actually Ventus never wielded the Kingdom Key, he wielded the X-Blade. It just so happens the base design looks like the Kingdom Key. The only reason Sora got the Keyblade was because Riku's heart was lost to the darkness right before Riku was supposed to receive it and Sora was the only other person in the vicinity to have a strong enough heart to wield it. If the keyblade didn't see Sora as even a possible wielder, it would have just waited for Riku to become worthy. I think Ven's heart had a factor in Sora wielding it but it's not the only reason, because if that were true, once Ven wakes up in KH3, then Sora wouldn't be able to wield a keyblade anymore.

+Stephan Salazar... I would say you're 99% right personally, I don't believe that Sora was chosen by the keyblade at all, I believe given that Sora, because he already had Ventus inside him before Riku got his power to wield the keyblade, to me, it's safe to assume the keyblade Riku lost chose Sora BECAUSE he had Ventus inside him... Then later when Sora showed promise to being a keyblade wielder the keyblade then decided that Sora could be its master. If Ventus wasn't inside Sora then I believe the keyblade would have waited for Riku to beat the darkness instead of choosing Sora. I don't believe that Sora will lose the keyblade when Ventus wakes up because as I stated before... The keyblade decided, in the end, that Sora would be its master... Not because of the fact Ventus was inside of him but because he showed he had the heart to be a keyblade wielder. With this in mind Sora can duel wield with his OWN keyblade and with Ventus' meaning when Ventus wakes up Sora will definitely lose the right to wield Ventus' keyblade but not his own that chose him during the fight with Riku. Although yes I agree if Ventus wasn't inside him I believe that Sora would have never had the chance to wield or prove himself to the be able to use a keyblade... But I don't believe for a second that the keyblade ONLY chose him because of Ventus. Although if Sora was able to prove himself strong enough of heart without having the ability to wield one from the people around him, (For example if he didn't have Ventus inside him or the one Riku lost), I then believe Sora would still be able to wield one as the keyblade would have determined him worthy even though he previously wasn't able to. With this in mind Sora can duel wield with his OWN keyblade and with Ventus' meaning when Ventus wakes up Sora loses ONE not both keyblades, but still has the right to wield one.

Just throwing my two cents out here- I really, really hate this notion that people have that Sora isn't one of the keyblade's chosen. (Not saying that you say that in the video, just that it's something I keep hearing all over the place.) That he only gained it by chance is true, sure. He happened to be there at the right time when the Keyblade felt Riku leaning towards the darkness, and it jumped to the closest person with a heart filled with light. But the events at Hollow Bastion CLEARLY spell out that the keyblade chooses Sora over Riku. Sora's heart is stronger than Riku's, and the keyblade went back to him because he was more worthy of wielding it. It chose him out of necessity at Destiny Islands, but in Hollow Bastion it chooses Sora because he's worthy. At this point, it stops being "the keyblade meant for Riku" and truly becomes "Sora's Keyblade", which is something I think this video points out fairly well. And on the topic of Roxas, I have my own theories as to why he can wield two keyblades. Here's a hint- it has a direct link with why he's the spitting image of Ventus.

+GUNDAMURX73 I feel like Roxas has two Keyblades because of Xion. If you look at which hand Xion wields her Keyblade with, it's her left. Roxas is right handed. In the final part of 358/2 Days, which Keyblade is Roxas holding in his left? The Oathkeeper. To Sora, Oathkeeper is in relation with his promise with Kairi. Xion is based off of Sora's memories of Kairi. The Ventus theory works in a way. Since he could just be wielding Ventus' Keyblade, as Xion's was called a "sham/fake" by Riku. I prefer the otp reason with Roxas and Xion though. 8D
@RellekEarth

+Kazuto Katsuragi I believe the dual wielding is symbolism of Ventus' and Roxas' and Sora's close friends and their influence on them. Roxas as an entity sits in the perfect middle ground between Sora who has Riku and Kairi, Ventus with Terra and Aqua, and Roxas himself with Xion and Axel. In the case of Ventus and Sora we see a friend consumed by darkness (Terra, Riku, Oblivion) and a friend with a heart of light (Aqua, Kairi, Oathkeeper). Oblivion itself is a keyblade of darkness, symbolizing a fall into darkness while Oathkeeper symbolizes a bond of light and friendship. The first time we see these two both being used together is Roxas who is falling into the darkness because of his bond with his friend. That's the heaviest message that Kingdom Hearts has given me personally over all these years. When Roxas's story was fully explained, it was over.

I believe its been stated that his duel wielding comes from his anger and sadness reaching to ventus.
@i0am0random

There's no theory to why Roxas can wield two keyblades. Here's the facts: Roxas can dual wield because he is the nobody created from Sora (who has Ventus' heart in him also making Roxas the nobody of Ventus, giving him the ability to use two keyblades.) Roxas wields the Oathkeeper keyblade when dual wielding is due to Sora's friendship with Kairi. Roxas wields the Oblivion keyblade when dual wielding is due to Sora's friendship with Riku. This is because the memories of Riku and Kairi are important to Sora, which then links back to Roxas because he is the nobody of Sora I hope this clarifies things.

This is disturbingly wrong. Do people actually think Sora just has a Keyblade because of circumstance? The whole plot of the game is centered around a boy who lucked out? If anything, he was one of the ONLY ones the Keyblade chose. Yes, originally the Keyblade did move down the list when it chose Sora over Riku, but later, the Keyblade actually picks Sora over Riku when he proves his heart is stronger and takes it back. Thus, the Keyblade chose Sora. No, Sora's primary Keyblade is not Ven's. Nomura confirmed that Sora's SECOND Keyblade comes from Ven and his first is his own. Roxas can dual wield because he is connected to Sora and Ventus. If you really think about it, the Keyblade didn't even choose Riku, Terra did. You honestly could say that the Keyblade itself chose Sora.
@HMK
@HMK 8 лет назад
The Keyblade didn't and never chose him initially, he even says that in Dream Drop Distance, if you actually played the games you would know that Sora was never meant to wield the Keyblade time and time again, and the point of his character was to be an ordinary boy that could go on and do anything with the power of his heart, inspiring others and players to do the same
@Jaccobtw
@Jaccobtw 8 лет назад
There's a difference between never being meant to wield the Keyblade and being chosen by the Keyblade - in the same way that Roxas was never meant to exist, according to namine, but he does in fact exist. In dream drop distance, Sora was referring to never being bequeathed upon by a previous Keyblade wielder. But anyways, we'll just be playing a game of semantics at this point. Was Sora originally intended to wield a Keyblade? no. But, was he chosen otherwise? Yes! If he wasn't chosen, he wouldn't have a Keyblade. Once again, its just a game of semantics.

+Cake# Sora not only lucky, but as other said he has a strong heart and undying will to do every thing that he want, other than that at very beginning of Kingdom Hearts 1 game told us that "Sora is the one who will open the door" and I very sure that "door" is the door of light, so even Keyblade never chose Sora, it not a big deal because HE, a normal boy is THE ONE WHO WILL OPEN THE DOOR OF LIGHT and it's more than special enough.

one thing i just noticed, at 5:56 on this video, sora touches rikus keyblade. technically the keyblade inheritance ceremony(the only real way to get a keyblade of your own) happens when a keyblade master allows a successor to hold the keyblade. this happened to riku, despite the fact that Terra wasn't quite the official Master. then there's also the time when Kairi touched Aquas 'Blade unintentionally and it was passed to her. in this case( riku and soras) Sora, Having a strong Heart touches and holds rikus Keyblade. my theory is that as of that moment, sora may have been given the abillity to wield his own personal Keyblade, not just Ventus'.

when it comes to questions like why neither sora and roxas don't have ven's keyblade, why roxas can duel wield better, and why sora doesn't duel wield as good as roxas, i have a simple response. it's all about fighting style. as seen in the beginning of kingdom hearts 1 sora has had a fighting style before obtaining the keyblade so the keyblade made itself in a compatible form for sora. thus the reason why all keyblade wielders have different style keyblade so that they can be exerted to their fullest potential.

So basically Sora's Abilities, Skills, Powers, Keys was due to connected hearts and mistakes. Meaning Sora does not have anything special to him and he was an accident never meant to happen. SO RIKU NEVER HAVE A REASON TO BE MAD IN KH1. HE HAD FUCKING EVERYTHING. HE JUST DIDNT KNOW IT.
@Edanite

I like to believe the second keyblade was not Ven's at all. I think that Ven's blade is with Terra's in the the dark realm protecting Aqua. I think that the second keyblade was actually Xions. A fake it may have been but it was still a keyblade, a copy of the same blade that Sora and now Roxas wields. So it wouldn't be a stretch to say that he can use it, and since it is a separate key, it can exist and be wielded along side it's brother.

Sora didn't get the ability to wield the keyblade from ventus's heart. Here's proof. According to Nomura you need a second heart that can wield a keyblade to perform sync blade. So 2 hearts that can wield a keyblade. That means that sora can wield a key blade.
@TalonSky
@TalonSky 10 лет назад
How I always saw it, the Keyblade appears different in everyone's hands because everyone's heart is different. Sora, as the Keyblade Master, has the ability to wield other people's Keyblades (also shared by Roxas, as Sora's Nobody). At first, Roxas gets two Kingdom Keys because, well, that's the natural form the Keyblade takes for Sora. But when they turn into the Oblivion and Oathkeeper, that was the result of Riku being near....Sora's love for Riku and Kairi was reaching out, subconsciously, to Riku without Roxas' knowledge.
@davidsteer8419
@davidsteer8419 10 лет назад
I get what your saying but the reason oath keeper and oblivion appeared was, 1: oath keeper was roxas doing what xion told him to and that was to release kingdom hearts (the heart moon) and 2: oblivion shows how angry roxas is
@TalonSky

David Steer I get the Oathkeeper so yeah, that sounds feasible. But I still think that Oblivion was Sora's subconscious reaching out to Riku. Who happened to be nearby, mind.

TalonSky This is going to be huge, so get ready: e__e I completely agree with the first part of what you said, but I've always looked at Roxas' keyblades differently. Oblivion and Oathkeeper together literally means "forgotten promise". That whole deal at Castle *Oblivion* in CoM and Kairi's scene in the first KH really enforce KH's definition for those words. Roxas promised that the 3 of them would go to the beach on their next day off from the organization in 358/2 days, but *HEY LISTEN SPOILERS WATCH OUT* when Xion dies/disappears, he forgets about it. He also said he would free Kingdom Hearts for her, but completely forgot about it by KH2 which would also count as a forgotten promise. However, since he didn't completely forget about her (even Sora vaguely remembers her existence from his memories) it still torments him that he's forgotten. In 358/2 he says that he couldn't bear it if he lost his memories of Axel and Xion. That's what's in his heart, and it's also part of what makes him strong. Much like how Riku's keyblade reflects how his choice to take the "road to dawn" and how Sora's "Kingdom" Key reflects his bonds with his friends.
@TalonSky

Leiyx Hmm, you make several good points ^_^ I don't think it's been confirmed either way why his Keyblades manifest the way they do. I guess we'll have to keep musing. Ventus' heart was half emptied when Vanitas was created, Xehanort brought Ventus to Destiny Island when Sora was born (by coincidence), Sora's newborn heart gave a part of his heart to Ventus' heart. Also According to the game only people with strong hearts can wield keyblades and I guess it is something that one can inherent.
@JeremyMcleo2

Ventus's keyblade is, from my point of view, a wild card in and of itself, due to his situation, but as far as Sora getting a keyblade, I think, is due to Ventus's heart sleeping in Sora's and allowing him to do so.
@kevinramos4101
@kevinramos4101 8 лет назад
Simple Conclusion: 1. Ventius was allready connected with Sora when Sora was a new Born Baby. 2. Xehanort took Ventus's Darkness away creating Vanitas. 3. Vanita's looks like Sora due Sora & Ventus's connection, when Xehanort took away Ventus's Darkness it not only took it out from Ventus but from Sora too, thats why Vanitas looks like a Darker Sora. 4. Ventus's Heart was broken due Xehanort ripping off his Darkness. 5. Sora as a Baby helps Ventus by filling the missing half of his heart with his ( Sora ) own light. 6. Due Sora's help, Ventus was recovered. 7. Vanitas + Ventus = X Blade = The X Blade have 2 Kingdom Keys, cuz Vanitas ( Bieng Sora's Darkness ) & Ventus ( Who have Half of Sora's Light ) are fuse together creating the X Blade. 8. Ventus destroyed the X Blade ( His Heart ) and was fatally wounded. 9. Sora as a Little Kid connected with Ventus again & helps Ventus ones again by letting Ventus to rest inside of Sora. - Ventus's Keyblade looks like it is half of what the Kingdom Key is ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31Ntm6Im9yL._SX466_.jpg due Ventus and Sora's Connection. Sora's Keyblade vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/kingdomhearts/images/3/30/Kingdom_Key_KH.png/revision/latest?cb=20110202212252 - It looked more that Ventus was the *One* who was bieng helped by Sora to wield a Keyblade cuz If SOra didnt fulled Ventus lost half in his heart in the begining of BBS then ventus wouldnt even be in the Keyblade War in BBS. - Also, Sora by helping Ventus recover in the begining of BBS, it gives Ventus the will to use a Keyblade & by Xehanort ripping off Ventus's Darkenees while bieng connected with Sora ( before BBS story line ) that created Vanitas. Example: Ventu is Sora's Light Vanitas is Sora's Darkness Light & Darkness fused vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/vsbattles/images/6/6a/X-Blade's_Complete_Form.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20160121190536 The X Blade. What do the X Blade have? = 2 Kingdom Keys. - That explain so much that is not that the X Blade belongs to Ventus off the bat, but Ventus & Vanitas themselfs are a key for unlocking the X Blade cuz both of them hold part of Sora to begin with. making it clear that the Kingdom Key really is Sora's Keyblade & that the X Blade is really Sora's. - Roxas bieng Sora's Nobody can use Sora's Keyblade, but at the same time Roxas looks like Ventus cuz of the simple fact that when Roxas was created he took Ventus's aperance *Not* Ventu's heart cuz Ventus Heart was still inside Sora when Roxas was in the ORG 13 ( 158/2 Days Time Line ). - And *No* , The Kingdom Key isnt Riku's, Riku was chosen by the Kingdom Key cuz Riku's heart was stronger than Sora's in that time, but Riku fails 2 Times at it ( 1. Destiny Islands & 2. Hallow Bastion ) and lost it permanently to the real owner that is Sora. - Hope this clears every mind fuck about "Ventus this,Ventsu that" get that shit/Crap away from here ( I like Ventus XP ) Dont belive the Ultimania ( Kingdom Hearts Wiki ) like this Chumptard ( HMK ).

Its not Soras light and dark, though. Venitas is Ven's Dark. Leaving Ven split to just his light. Unable to handle half his heart, Ven was useless. Then Sora's heart before Sora is born offers Ven half of his heart. Then yadadada Ven goes down and Ven's full heart goes to lil' Sora along with the half taken. So Sora has Ven's and Sora's heart. Then stuff goes down, Sora then has Ven and Sora AND Kairi's heart. Then heartless Sora creates "Ven's/Sora's" nobody, Roxas, and Kairi's heart of all light makes Namine. I don't know what I'm trying to say, but Sora has operated with two hearts since his birth. His connection to Ven is what allowed him to wield a keyblade (which leaves Aqua's still to be chosen?), and his dual-hearts is why he is strong enough to duel wield. Same for Roxas. Roxas is the nobody of both Sora and Ven, technically, and can thus control two keyblades

I just noticed that Sora and Riku are wielding Oblivion and OathKeeper from 5:41 onwards. I think that this means that Oathkeeper is Sora's heart formed into a Keychain while Oblivion is Riku's. So if they were to have Keyblades made in the ways the Master of Masters uses instead of Inheritance of being chosen, then they would likely gain those keyblades.

It's not Ventus's keyblade, it's Xion's keyblade. If Riku's replica has it's own "souleater" then Sora's replica can have it's own "kingdom key" Ventus's heart only gave Roxas the ability to dualwield, after Xion1 died her keyblade was passed down to Roxas

Roxas does not dual-wield the same two keyblades as Sora. Roxas dual-wields his and Xion's memory-copy keyblade. Sora dual-wields his and Ventus's keyblades. And they don't look the same as Wayward Wind or Kingdom Key because they have different keychains attached.

I think that the keyblade roxas wields in the biggining of 358/2 days was ventas's keyblade because at that point Sora was still active. Remember that Axel met Sora at CO in COH and we see axel leave in 358/2 days. Xion wasnt able to wield a key blade in the biggining either and when she does Axel had been gone for a while. My theory is that Roxas had ventas's keyblade and Xion inhearted Sora's keyblade after be was put to sleep (which we can pin point to a spicific day) Sora also held riku's keyblade for a short while during the fight with xemas. Does that mean that he got a wierd version of the inheritense cerimony like Kairi?

@liarliarroyaq 10 лет назад
I always assumed when Nomura said that the second keyblade was ventus's that he didn't mean that it was the ventus's physical keyblade which we've seen gets left behind when the wielder dies, but rather ventus's keyblade potential allows Roxas, and Sora to duel wield due to them having two hearts. Sora has his own and Ventus's and Roxas had his own newly formed heart, and ventus's which remained with Sora's body and soul when it went off to form Roxas. Ventus's actual physical keyblade is with his body in Castle Oblivion unable to be summoned due to it's master being in a coma.

During Roxas's existence Ventus stayed within him. However his heart was still fractured. Over time Roxas who frequently interacted with the light of other hearts nurtured Ventus's heart as well as growing his own. By the end of Days the emotions he felt were so powerful that it triggered an awakening of Ven's heart unlocking Roxas's and later Sora's ability to duel wield.

Guys on kingdom hearts for 3ds, as you can see at the ending of it, ventus smiled at end while sleeping, on kingdom hearts 3, you may play the storyline of eraqus and xehanort. There's plot twist in there, kairi may seen kh3 and ventus will awake after riku brought sora to where ventus is( riku is a keyblade master now. So the master of mickey( I FORGOT HIS name!) will teach riku how to go there (why, eraqus teach Aqua after becoming keyblade master) that's all hope you guys like my predictions 🤗

I'm a fan of the whole vanitas-Riku idea, so my theory is that the Kingdom Key D and the Kingdom Key are the split versions of the X-blade and that the regular Kingdom Key fell into Sora's hands bc of his connection with Ventus and Riku losing to the Darkness. Which also explains how the Kingdom Key's colors are based off of Riku's outfit, and I think that Mickey has been safe guarding the other half so that the X-blade can't be reformed.

i think that ventus's prescene in sora's heart is exactly why he's been using the kingdom key. sora always had the potential to use the keyblade. that's what drew his and ventus's hearts together the night sora was born. but ven sleeping in sora's heart prevented sora from awakening to his own keyblade the way terra and the others did. that could also be why riku was able to take the kingdom key from sora at hallow bastion. because riku's heart overwhelmed sora's and took the kingdom key from him. but like you said, when riku fell back into the darkness to far. the kingdom key returned to sora. the only way sora will be able to waken to his own keyblade the way riku and lea have. would be for ventus to either leave his heart. or wake up inside sora's heart and perform the inheritance ritual

heres my thoughts, I think that every keyblade wielder has their own special keyblade that was meant for them (riku-WTTD ventus-WW ETC...) with the Kingdom key being the base model or starter keyblade. since sora was (supposedly) never supposed to wield a keyblade he has no special keyblade or has yet to obtain it. since WW is ventus's keyblade, sora doesn't have the ability to wield it.

Maleficent had Seven Princesses of Heart which Actually despite their titles have no connection to Kingdom Hearts, and Being princesses they don't really fight except Kairi. anyway I find that as the game develops more and more it makes it all the worth while to find out what'll be in the next game.

Deduction addition- In BBS, Ventus defeats Vanitas inside his own heart rebonding the darkness and the light together again. Oblivion is raw darkness while the oathkeeper is raw light. After the fight, Ventus returns to Sora. At the point where Riku merges with the darkness Sora then forms his bond with the kingdom key. At that moment Sora is in possession of 3 resonating keyblades; Riku's, Ventus's, and Vanitas's. Now why does Sora get the kingdom key? Because in Sora's heart sleeps the resonating X-blade. Sora's keyblade is the X-blade trying to respawn in the real world but only getting the light out. Sora sets Kairi's heart free relasing Ventus's heart which bonds into Roxas, which is why Roxas(even though he is a nobody) is able to wield the keyblade. Vexen sees the fascinating phenomenon that is Roxas so he creates another Roxas named Xion. At this point all 3 Keyblade imprints are distributed through Sora's dopplegangers. After the events of 358/2 days Roxas can wield 2 keys because of Xion, and after kh2 Roxas reconnects with Sora giving him the ability of Final form. Also, the keyblade shape is direct correlation with the Keychain. Roxas and Xion are connected to Sora and Kairi which is why Roxas's keybaldes take the shape of Sora's two strongest keybaldes. Because Kairi is his brightest light represented in the Oathkeeper, and Riku is his darkest darkness represented in the oblivion. This is also the reason that Ventus's keyblade shape never materializes in Sora's possession.

Well to answer some of your questions, Ventus's keyblade is his own keyblade so it's only him that gets to use it. It's still most likely in his possession. Like you said, he only granted Sora the ability, not the keyblade itself so I don't think anyone should be surprised by that. Secondly, Roxas isn't using it more efficiently, it's just his fighting style. Roxas was fighting for revenge and is much more aggressive in personality which shows in his fighting where he focuses more on attack than defense. Sora, however, is fighting for his friends and protects those he loves so it makes sense for him to balance out his defense and offense. So it's not who uses it more efficiently, it's more of their style on how they use it. Though majority of the other info was around correct :)

Having the ability to wield a Keyblade is different from Dual Wielding. By definition Dual Wielding involves SUMMONING 2 Keyblades and using them. Also the teaser for BBS was basically a bunch of ideas brought together. Like the secret teaser at the end of 1, it was basically an idea of what's to come not necessarily what was going to happen. Fun Fact: Tetsuya was going to give them organization coats instead of Armor to hide their identity.

While I can't answer the first question. Sora proved to be the better candidate because he never gave himself to the Darkness like Riku did. As for Vanitas' appearance. Basically Ventus' heart merged with Sora's 2 times. When Sora was young, presumably when his heart was heading to his newborn body and when Ventus went comatose. Ventus fused with Sora first when had his Darkness removed by MX, creating Vanitas. Because of their first heart fusion, Vanitas took the appearance of Sora.

In that scene he turned into Valor form without absorbing Goofy. It's more of a heart thing ya know? "My friends are my power!" Sora's heart is connected to all his friends, and when he thinks of them he gains a boost in power, like when Aqua thought of Ven and Terra in the final battle, her keyblade glew with amazing power, able to shatter even the X-Blade.

I actually have a theory bout this key in particular: you see we don't know ANYTHING about Sorra's upbringing for all WE know he could be royalty. You see what I'm getting at? My theory goes like this: the KINGDOM key is "different" from other keyblades it can't just be picked up by anyone who has the ability to wield keyblades but instead is more like the sword in the stone only those worthy can wield it. Now we all have watched (or at least I hope) Disneys sword in the stone where Arthur draws the blade from its stone and wields and becomes king now what if the world of Kingdom hearts hand it's OWN Caliburn? I'm talking about the kingdom key of course! Once it was drawn from its prison by a royal or someone like Arthur who was proven worthy whose to say his or her child with the same qualities wouldn't be ether?

What I find really interesting in that argument, is the the statement that Sora and Kairi got the power to wield the Keyblade from previous Keyblade wielders. Now I am not completely dissing this statement for the fact that you pointed out that Sora only obtain the power to "wield" a Keyblade because of harboring Ventus's heart. Still for Kairi, when Aqua met her. She pointed out that all she did was cast a spell on her that will guide her to another "light" that can protect her.

I believe the reason Ven's keyblade appears as a kingdom key is because the way the keyblade looks is always dependent on who summoned it. Roxas's keyblade takes the form of the kingdom key because he is part of Sora, who's keyblade is the kingdom key, whereas Ventus's looked like the kingdom key because it was Roxas who summoned it. I might be wrong though because whenever someone takes away the keyblade it stays the same as it did when it was summoned, like when Riku takes the oblivion from Roxas at the end of days, or when Sora uses Riku's and his in the final boss of KH2. This is just my speculation and is by no means certain. Also there isn't really any other evidence to say why, like there aren't any other people with people's hearts in them and nobodies who have the capability to wield them, so no one can really tell for sure unless more information comes to light, but I believe this to be true.

I have come to see the Kingdom Key as the Keyblade of the light as Miki's golden Key is the Keyblade of the dark realm, and with that in mind the Kingdom Key's choice of Sora over Riku seem's to make more sense as it would choose a heart perfectly alined with the light insted of one that was giving into the darkness.

As I watched this, Xion is in fact half of Sora with Ventus' power, as Roxas' is to Sora's power mostly. A scene in 358/2 days where Xion and Xigbar are fighting in Wonderland, Xigbar sees Xion as Ventus wielding a Kingdom Key. This states that Xion holds Ventus' power, the memories of Kairi within Sora, and is connected to him, Ventus, and Roxas. Haha... that's cool. :D

I have a theory. Keyblades come in a form specific to their original wielder (with a matching keychain) and can be modified with other keychains, which might be derived from memories. Since Sora isn't the original owner of Wayward Wind and doesn't have direct access to Ven's memories (I think...), I don't think he, Roxas, or Xion would ever be able to summon Ven's keyblade in that form. Rather, Sora summons WW in a form commensurate with his experiences: Kingdom Key #2. Just a wild guess...
@outbackjim21
@outbackjim21 10 лет назад
Well the legit reason why wayward wind isnt shown in kh2 is because nomura is literally writing the story as it goes along, the concept of bbs came late in the development of kh2, which is why there is only that one xigbar quote that refers to the possibility of prior keyblade users. Now for a more canon reasoning behind roxas not wielding wayward wind during the two kingdom key scene, is because of how memories and personality influence the form the keyblade takes. To me personally, though the kingdom key is the keyblade in its most basic form, i would like to think that it represents limitless potential in sora and his counterparts. Another reason behind this is because of the very fact that sora wasn't chosen by the keyblade, so it would make sense as to why the keyblade wouldnt change to anything other than it's most basic form. Now with sora not being a true wielder of the keyblade, are his counterparts chosen wielders, xemnas throws the "chosen by the keyblade" bit a lot throuout the games he is featured in, but as roxas is more a part of sora than he is ventus, was he really chosen? If roxas, and in turn, xion, were not chosen, and because they are their own person, as in roxas IS NOT ventus, then like sora, their potential is limitless and the keyblade is not imprinted by their personality. But if thats the case, then on the 358th day, it is possible that roxas earned not only the right to be a true keyblade wielder, but also the mark of mastery( a theory that i am working on involving xemnas) which would explain why he is simply overall more profficent in the use of the keyblade in general compared to sora. As this is the first time, canon wise, that we have seen a keyblade change form from the kingdom key to another form, that would mean that the keyblade was imprinted with roxas', and possibly sora's, memories and feelings regarding axel and xion. So why im trying to show is that roxas doesnt use wayward wind because his memories belong to sora, not ventus, and memories and personality tend to dictate the shape a keyblade takes, unless the user was not a chosen wielder, then it will take the most basic of shapes, the kingdom key. Though i might be wrong and the fact is that EVERY wielder starts off with the kingdom key, and after a certain amount of usage it "levels up" to the form that suits the user, but i doubt that because of riku's soul eater.

Sora has two keyblades because Roxas had two, and Roxas merged with Sora. Roxas had two because he was born of two keyblade wielders' hearts. Some say it was Kairi and Sora, though a more reasonable cause is that Ventus's heart resides in Sora (also why Roxas and Ventus look exactly alike), and since both Sora and Ventus had keyblades of their own, Roxas received two, and thusly Sora got his second one when Roxas merged with him.

I think Roxas' keyblades are more symbolic than anything else and this is why they don't turn into wayward wind and the kingdom key. He can duel wield because of Sora and Ventus but I feel that the two keys represent who he is and the circumstances of his life due to his story. And perhaps when they are passed onto Sora it's symbolic because Oathkeeper (the light) is for the promise to help people like Xion or Aqua and Oblivion (the dark) the sadness of what has happened in the past games.

The way I always saw it was that Sora always had the ability/gift to wield a Keyblade as we saw when Aqua met him and Riku but it was through Ventus taking refuge in his heart that he was given a sort of quasi inheritance ceremony. About Final Form granting him Ventus's Keyblade... I'm not sure if you're right there. The magic of the three fairies is what lets him use two keyblades at the start of the game with Valor, so in the end, it would be sound reasoning that the fairy magic is still the cause, but Roxas let him access Final Form. However, the Xion and Roxas part seemed extremely accurate to me.

I believe that a keyblade is more of an idea or entity and comes naturally in the kingdom key form, the appearance and power of the blade varies based on its keychain. That is where I see the potential of the keyblade. It is able to conduct the powers of worlds (such as forest king and three wishes) or the power of ones heart as it appears as a blade custom to them. Sora is not the main owner of the kingdom key because it is stock. Sora's blade is oblivion as it only appears after he is found worthy to own a keyblade and the chain is his necklace. Roxas' key is two across, with a similar color scheme to oblivion and a keychain that mirrors Roxas' necklace. And wayward wind is Venus' key. We also see rainfall for Aqua, earthshaker for terra, and kingdom key D for Mickey.

Why Sora and Roxas don't use the Wayward Wind is simple - Different keychains. The one Keyblade can take on multiple forms, as shown both in gameplay, and in story. Example: Terra during BBS. At the start of the game, his Keyblade is Earthshaker, but changes at the end of the game into Ends of the Earth. Same with Aqua's, changing from Rainfell to Stormfall, and then possibly into Destiny's Embrace when Kairi gets it in KH2.

Okay so here's my theory on Sora's keyblade. I think that the ability to wield a keyblade is passed through just touching another keyblade (whether you are worth of receiving one is another thing) or so Terra said in the English version of BBS. This is seen in BBS when Aqua performed the keyblade inheritance ceremony (unwittingly) on Kairi when she just touched her keyblade seeking comfort. I don't think Sora received a true inheritance ceremony just by accepting Ventus into his heart, he was just a vessel in a way and therefore could never claim a keyblade as his own because he had never touched another keyblade. Flash forward to when Riku briefly claimed his keyblade (the kingdom key) back in KH1 in like the second or third trip to Traverse town and then tossed it back to Sora I think he might of performed a botched inheritance ceremony for Sora to then claim the kingdom key as his own later. In a way I do think Sora lucked his way into becoming a keyblade master. If your theory (HMK) is true then Sora would have received a keybade without ever having gone through a true inheritance ceremony first and gained the initial "spark" (so to say) via proxy from Ventus. And on top of that it wouldn't have mattered because if everything had been perfect Riku wouldn't have fallen into darkness and the Kingdom Key would have gone to him when the islands fell into darkness. So yeah, good nature not withstanding, Sora is just incredibly luck.
@animusmon

coorocrow My theory is, if a non-keyblade wielder touches a keyblade wielder´s keyblade and their Hearts synchronize on their strongest believes (like both Terra and Riku wanting to protect their friend Ventus/Sora), then the non-wielder will gain the ability to wield a keyblade. So maybe the reason why Sora could use a keyblade throughout most of KH, was because of Ventus´ heart and could also explained how Riku was able to take the "Kingdom Key" Keyblade from Sora. Because Ventus´ heart was still damage. So when Sora realizes that true strength come from one´s friends ("My friends are my power"), his and Ven´s Hearts synchronize and thereby making Sora a true “keyblade wielder”.

While Roxas is Sora's Nobody, Ventus has nothing to do with Roxas's ability to dual wield Keyblades. At the beginning of "Days", Roxas had no heart so he had to rely on the power of Sora. But at the end, Roxas grew his own heart over those 358 days. Thus, with him having his own heart, he wield his own Keyblade, Oathkeeper. However, after the final battle he recombines with Sora's other Nobody, Xion. As it turns out, Xion had also grown a heart. And as a result, when Roxas got her powers and heart, it manifested in the form of a second Keyblade, Oblivion. In short, Sora and Ventus have nothing to do with Roxas's ability to dual wield.

Actually, it was confirmed in Birth by Sleep Ultimania that Ventus is the reason why Sora and Roxas can dual wield keyblades. Q4: Why can Roxas dual-wield? A: Because he can use both Sora’s and Ventus’s Keyblades.

 Sora can wield two Keyblades at once because he has Ventus’s as well as
 his own. As Roxas is a part of Sora, he also can use two. In Days, Roxas
 awakened his ability to dual-wield after fighting Xion. In KHII, once
 Sora absorbed Roxas, he could also dual-wield. Roxas awoke his ability to dual-wield through his will to not forget Xion, who also wielded a Keyblade. www.khinsider.com/news/BBS-Ultimania-20-Mysteries-Solved-2546

In Castle Oblivion, during his time there, Sora uses technically not quite his Keyblade, but rather a weapon crafted from his memories of the Keyblade, resulting in a weapon that behaves exactly like the Keyblade to the T, yet isn't. Roxas uses Sora's actual Keyblade during Days. In a similar fashion, just as Riku says, Xion's Keyblade too is a sham- it's not quite an actual Keyblade, likely a result of both the memory and power sapping incarnated physically.

They keyblade pretty much has a mind of its own being able to choose it's own wielder. But a lot of people assume it needs to be passed down like how Terra chose Riku. But if that were the case, then Sora should never be able to use it since no one actually "passed down" their keyblade to him. They keyblade saw how Soras heart was strong and filled with light, so it went to Sora. The only reason the keyblade ever left him was because of Soras own self doubt. When he came face go face with Riku his heart gave in to all the sadness and anger from his journey. And I also believe that the reason Riku could take it is because he was basically possessed by Xehanort, a keyblade master. So I would assume he has that crazy power shit. (and yes they did plan on ansem being Xehanort since kh1)

This is a very well done video, but I do have to disagree with some of the things you said (weather I'm right or wrong). It's a lot to read, so please bear with me. The reason Roxas looks like Ventus is because when Sora released his heart in KH1, Ventus still was in Sora's heart when Sora became a heartless, but because Ventus had touched Sora's heart, Roxas took on the look of Ventus (like Vanitas looks like Sora because he touched Ventus's heart). The reason Roxas seems to be able to express emotions better than the other nobodies isn't because he has Ventus's heart (If he did, then he would just be Ventus basically, and his heart probably wouldn't survive while he was still recovering), but because he had no memories to go off of for his base personality, and developed his own personality separate of Sora's. He might not have started out with a heart, but while developing his own personality, the heart he gained was his own, based of off the pesonality he was developing. Because he had no memories, everything he felt was pure emotion, not just memories of emotions. Like Sora said, Roxas had the right to be his own person as much as he did. So, in the end, Roxas is a mixture of Ventus's body, Sora's soul and mind, and Roxas's own heart. On the topic of why Roxas can dual wield (don't worry, this one will be a lot shorter), while Xion was taking away Roxas's power, the keyblade she was using was actually just a replica, a fake keyblade that still worked like a normal keyblade (like Data-Sora's keyblade). When Roxas destroyed Xion, he gained the ability to use her keyblade too. I think all keyblade wielders have the potential to dual wield, but have not unlocked the power to do it like Roxas and Sora have. The reason why he can wield Sora's keyblade is because while they are separate people, they are also one in the same too, so the keyblade split in half so it could go to each of them. If you read all of this, then thank you. I know it's a lot but this is just how I felt on the matter based on what I know about the Kingdom Hearts universe. Your video is still really well made, and I could be wrong, but I would like to hear your opinion on my opinion (as weird as that sounds).

1:40 - You *ASSUME* that the union of Soras and Ventus heart doesnt act as the inheritance... Where is it stated that the inheritance ceremony can only be performed one way? 4:00- How can you confirm that one of those keyblade is Roxas keyblade? You say Roxas and Ventus Keyblade. But Roxas is Soras and Ventus no body. Thats is the only reason he can wield two Keyblades. He doesnt have his own keyblade hes using both Soras and Ventus Keyblade. So if we jump on the *Assumption express* we know that sora has his own keyblade which is the oathkeeper. Why? Oblivion is based off of Riku, and his dark past. However, Roxas was given a keyblade based off of his own placement, a keyblade unknown by most of society: Two Become One. Adorned with Nobody thorns, the keyblade is Roxas's final keyblade, and Sora gets it on KH 2 FM after defeating Roxas.

Its like Sora has the omnitrix as a heart, he can use the abilitys of anything with a strong heart he bonds his heart with, my question is is this ability exclusively to the main charater of the game or just ven who can make the kai blade wich controles kh and sora whos keyblade who we belive to not have a weilder previously but looks like halve of the kai blade wich is presumably bequifed to him at the end of kh, meanwhile he been in quadradum for a year.. Roxes had the omniheart cus he is apart of sora, but in deepdive the blades he carried he never new kiri or riku but he still had thises bonds and are his traidmark blades now, destiny is a big part of kh the charaters arnt sopose to be conscious of the results of there actions this is the ultimant battle of good vs evil god is the chess player in this sense against the darkness, idk just random thoughts.. What is sora binds with the whole unerverse and the powere makes him into a new kingdom hearts and the m o m was plaining to sacrifice his special omiheart to make a new kh or one for quadradum, do u need this ability to forge the kai blade at all.. Or is this a ablitly potentially in every keyblader rhey just not using here heart as there guiding key or there lux lv not over 9000 like soras is somehow

True but it can also be noted that Oblivion and Oathkeeper represent something to Roxas as well. Oblivion can represent Xion's death and Oathkeeper, his promise to release Kingdom Hearts. Interestingly enough, Roxas gains the blades AFTER her death AND the promise. In Days when Roxas returns to TWTNW, he summons 2 Kingdom Keys which later transform to Oathkeeper and Oblivion and that by itself is curious enough.

Perhaps Sora doesn't wield wayward wind because when Ventus became apart of him only the ABILITY to weild a keyblade transfered to him. Note, As we have seen in kingdom hearts, all of the wielders we've played as have the ability to decide which keyblade they want to use. You can switch to a different keyblade you've used in another world. On a side note ventus' keyblade is just not available anywhere at the moment because ventus isnt Conscious and able to summon it himself so it cannot be found. Say one person has the key to a book and no longer needs it anymore He then passes it on to another person, they now have the key "the ability" to read the book. Now that the events of Ventus bringing the ability to sora have transpired, he could have weilded a keyblade before the Kingdom key even appeared. Perhaps being chosen by the keyblade gave him an additional ability to hold another and not just the keyblade of light its self. I dont know there's alot of holes in this theory of mine. p.s. what if Sora's true keyblade was there all along in the form of the Ultima Weapon. You do have to do the most work to recieve it. and sora does have a theme of crowns.

I see that this was put in the comments already to a degree, but simply put, Roxas is better at dual wielding because he has BOTH Sora and Ventus' Knowlege on keyblade wielding, while Sora at the beginning had no clue how to use a keyblade, let alone a weapon, as is indicated by the fact that his combat style is the simplest in the series, as opposed to Ventus, who was TRAINED BY XEHANORT from whenever he was found by him to wield a keyblade. Ventus' combat style is even a reverse grip, an extremely hard to use, and difficult, sword style. So since Roxas is a combo of Sora and Ventus, it would make sense he is better at dual wielding as he probably could fight reverse grip if he wanted to, since he has Ventus' combat experience.

it is indeed true that Kairi and Riku can wield the keyblade due to inheritance, and Sora was not meant to because Aqua thought that he and Riku were close and would fight like she and Terra do, but was able to become a wield due to Ventus heart. the Kingdom Key was meant for riku but his hearts was to consume to use it so like Kairi's heart it choose the nearest light. In my opinion,

at around 5:55 sora comes into contact with riku's keyblade and a bright light happens. correct me if im wrong but i think riku may have unintentially performed the inheritence ceremony similar to aqua and kairi.

Sora was slightly intended to wield a keyblade as Aqua nearly let him inherit the Keyblade from her as she saw the strong light within him but she decided against this as she never wanted Sora & Riku to end up like her and Terra, instead telling him to always look after Riku and to guide him away from darkness.

Your theories are good and solid up to the point where you talk about Roxas, Soea, and Xion. I'll explain my way, so try and keep up. Roxas and Sora as individuals have one important thing in common, Ventus. Roxas holding half of Sora's power, he also holds half of his potential. Being Sora's Nobody but looking identical to Ventus, he has full right to Ventus's key; however, being Sora's Nobody, his heart is directly linked to Sora, making his key the same as Sora's key(Kingdom Key). The same reason as Xion. The reason Roxas could later wield two blades is not because one belonged to him, it's because the second one belonged to Xion.
@alpharabbit2353

As for the keychains themselves, I believe that the Kingdom Key is actually the most basic(raw) form a key can take. The keys draw power from the different chains placed upon it. Some users, usually masters, will have personal chains made especially for them.

I read somewhere that Riku can Dual-Wield as well due to Ansem SOD having been in his heart, and that the Keyblade he gave to Kairi (Destiny's Embrace) is actually his Sync Keyblade, not Kairi's own one. She was only using her ability to wield one to use Riku's. Kairi's Keyblade hasn't been revealed. Also my theory is that every Keyblade either has no true base form (other than the Kingdom Keys and X-Blade) or possibly a Kingdom Key base form, and then assumes its form through assimilating the wielder's heart, hence Sora, Roxas and Vanitas never wielding Wayward Wind. And that Keyblades can evolve to higher forms with their wielder's powers. Yupp

Sora: I know the Keyblade didn't choose me, and I don't care. I'm proud to be a small part of something bigger... the people it DID choose. My friends, they are my power! Sora has always drawn power from his connections to others. His connection to Ventus made him a candidate for the Keyblade. His connection to all the friends he'd made helped him win it back when it's original owner, Riku, took it. His connection with Kairi saved him from becoming a Heartless AND won back his lost memories. And, last but not least, he is willing to go through thick and thin for the sake of those connected people.

I always saw the fact roxas can sync blade is because of the fact that when xion gained the ability to use the key blade roxas was allowing xion to take some of his power this meant that it was split and explains all the fainting in days as well as xion for getting how 2 use it

If thats true then maybe that is why Sora is destined to save all of those who were lost, like Ansem the Wise said. The fact that he can wield a Keyblade without the Right of Succession shows that he is a true wielder of light.

I have a theory why Aqua, Ventus and Terra don't age though time. In the realm of darkness, time is a standstill,it doesn't exist in that realm and to those living in it. It only exist in the realm of light and to those in there. Aqua spent the last 10 years in darkness, so she isn't affected. Ventus and Terra's body are mostly in the realms between, so it can't do anything to them either. This would also explain how Ansem the wise hasn't changed in the past few years.

Okay so I always thought that the kingdom key was that of all keyblades in their base form. I'm kh1 if you look at the description of the kingdom key it'll say that it's in its true form. It is through key chains that we are able to change its appearance and power. Sort of like a gun that we can add or take away certain attachments to fit the wielder. Now: terra passed his on to riku, aqua to kairi and ven to sora. Throughout kh sora uses riku's keyblade because riku succumbed to darkness but eventually was able to take it back from sora. Sora doesn't get his very own until riku was about to strike him down. Now this could be because he was worthy of his own or was because of ven. But the reason it's not wayward wind is because it goes to its new owner as a fresh kingdom key to be customized the way they see fit. Sora prefers the keyblade in its true form. Riku, after spending time in the darkness, customized his to utilize both light and dark techniques. Kairi...well I'm not even sure how that worked out because it was given to her by riku instead of just being summoned like the others. But I know for sure it was because aqua unknowingly passed it on to kairi when they met. So going back to what I said earlier it should explain why wayward wind doesn't come as a keyblade to sora. He utilizes the aspect of the keyblade to be whatever form he wants it to be. So I think he's using his own and ven's because ven is still inside sora. So ven's keyblade is trying to reach him within sora's heart which allows sora to wield ven's and at the same time sora uses his own.
@devereauxrobxyahoo
@devereauxrobxyahoo 10 лет назад
Finally the reason why Ven's keyblade does not take the form of Wayward Wind is because that keychain is native to Ven's memories. Neither Sora or Roxas have access to those memories so Ven's keyblade took the base form of the Kingdom Key. Xion's keyblade was also fake it only was able to release hearts because Xion was siphoning Roxas's power.

The word 'chosen' is thrown around too freely in this series. Sora is the only one who was actually chosen by the weapon. Everyone else is given their blade through the ritual. The Kingdom key was always Sora's. It was never Riku's. The argument that Riku's heart fell to darkness so the keyblade left him on Destiny Islands is weak at best. Using that logic, Vanitas shouldn't be able to wield a keyblade, the keyblade should have left Terra in bbs and also master Xen, who has completely given his heart to darkness and can still wield. Sora's awakening occurs BEFORE the islands are swallowed by darkness. Also, Sora's necklace is a direct cut out of the end of his keyblade (he wears a crown around his neck and the missing piece is a crown). Why would Riku's keyblade have a design that directly relates to Sora? It is Malificent that perpetuated the misinformation that Sora has Riku's keyblade while she was manipulating Riku and 99% of players take her words as gospel when she is a known manipulator. To say that Sora got his keyblade by luck and because he was just there belittles everything about Sora. He is the most powerful character in the entire series. His heart took in Ven's to protect it and heal it when he was a new born. He is told before he even holds a keyblade that he IS the key and will be the one to open the door (to kingdom hearts). In 6 months we will find out how right i am.

(continued) When Xion dies, it is not the power returning to Roxas that triggers his dual-wielding, but rather the mix of strong emotions in Roxas' heart (remember what Xemnas reveals towards the end of DDD) awakens Ventus' Keyblade, though Roxas can't wield Wayward Wind for some reason which is still currently beyond me. That is all I can currently gather, though I can say not all your theories work for sure.

wayward wind is ventus's signiture keyblade same as sora and the kingdom key this can also be a relation to sora still having un tapped potential as the kingdom key is the most basic form of the keyblade its self

This is why I learned to give up on HMK... You literally addressed Sora's Keyblade - The Kingdom Key - For about half of the video. You also don't seem to understand the appearance changes of keyblades. The Kingdom Key appearance is only given to Roxas because Sora obtained the Kingdom Key. This Means Roxas' Kingdom key isn't technically a true kingdom key. Sora's Final form also should NEVER be used to back up an "Explanation" as whatever combo of keyblades you use in final form is purely subjective and up to the player's choice and there are other forms that allow him to dual wield. Also able to dual wield much better than sora? I mean you even used final form in your video... Sora floats... FLOATS and has the power to swing keyblades without gripping them... yeah.. Roxas is clearly better... Also... Sora is able to wield the Keyblade because of both Ventus AND Terra passing on the ability. Your videos are literally bait click. You put titles like "Explained" to attract views though hardly anything was explained. And half of your theories have little to no solid evidence behind them. simply interesting titles you put in your videos to make people think you can have legitimate proof backing up a claim or theory you have. Not EVERYTHING in this video is fact. Just because you throw a link to a bunch of interviews in there doesn't mean you actually used any of them. you didn't necessarily "Chronicle the tale of Sora's Keyblade" you simply talked about keyblades in general and who else could wield them, NOT the Kingdom Key itself.

thank you for that. Tired of these people saying Sora got lucky then saying themselves that he got to keep his keyblade because he "proved his heart was strong enough" like he didn't get lucky at all then lmao he was strong enough from the start. not to mention that vid he JUST released a day or two ago complaining about "not getting any news or announcements in the winter" Like we got a KH3 trailer last year at E3 and it ended saying "News and announcements this winter" And for some reason, HMK and many others took that as specifically "kh3 news" lmao no. It just said we'd be getting news and announcements and we got just that. Dumbasses like HMK are one of the many that would make 10 new vids every time we get a quote from an interview or a screenshot lmao. then winter ends and spring begins and everyone making videos about how we got 0 news lmaoooo. the KH fanbase needs to stop being so toxic and entitled. KH3 IS COMING OUT EITHER THIS YEAR OR NEXT! JUST BE PATIENT GUYS! Not to mention complaining about news shit 2 months before e3 comes back around is so fucking stupid. just wait until may you impatient bastards.

Ventus? He's able to wield one keyblade because Riku's (the ability to wield it being entrusted to him by Terra) decided Sora was worthy of wielding it, while Riku wasn't (at the time). Besides that, he still has ventus' heart resting in his, so... yeah, 2 keyblades.

haikari36 is right and to clear up the "Better and light magic" thing is because the duel wield facter is simple he's been using the duel wield much longer so simple practice (this includes the time he spent training in sora's heart) then the light magic is because of the oathkeeper's magic based power and the key fact it's a key of pure light.
