@@Diana-yn2jk The Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost is available to all who seek Jesus. As God created us in his image, everyone has been given different God given gifts. Speaking in tongues is one of many gifts of the Spirit. Not everyone uses the gifts God gave them for Christ and will be punished for that, that's divination.

One of the reasons I've been searching for more truth is because this deadness or limpness that you're talking of I am struggling with dreadfully. It's never been like this before with my relationship with the Lord and I am overcome by depression and anxiety it's hard to leave the house. And I am confused about why I have no joy and I feel I'm just existing so I'm really thankful for your content.
I felt a connection with what you shared about your life, found some similarities in how you feel and how I have before. One thing that also helped me was searching and asking God to teach me how to war with the enemy. God helped train me and is still training me. I’ve had experiences of him showing me and telling me what to say to the enemy. What scriptures to use as my weapon. I myself have went through feeling super connected to Christ, to waking up “randomly” one morning feeling a disconnect from Christ that I noticed, but felt I had no power to solve. I was very confused, because I was serving the Lord, and in the middle of a healing journey. It was very hard for several years. God spoke to me and had told me that I had disobeyed him, I had put my pastors as my God. He tried to bring me out of the idolization of my pastors, whom were also family. And when God was calling me out and I tried to leave, but didn’t, I was told and punished to an extent by them, for what was the exact opposite of what God had told me. They said I was hyper familiar with them, too used to them, and that since I was family I couldn’t receive from them, and that sin brought me away from God. They compared themself to Jesus and had said that “just like Jesus couldn’t do miracles in his own hometown, now you can’t learn from us. What do you think we don’t have the fire of the Lord? Do you not think we don’t hear from God?” And it was very scary and intimidating, aggressive. Screaming slamming pots. And the act of me trying to listen to Gods voice calling me to live my life differently than what they wanted for me to live was a rebellious act against God. Im not sure if they knew I idolized them or not, however that is what God was trying to save me from. And the fact that they had WAY too much control over my life. I had placed so much faith in them since they were my pastors, and I grew up in a very paranormal house. I just wanted to serve the Lord and love people. Lots of demonic things had been going on because of the actions of the adults in my household. But God is restoring me and I just wanted to share so you understood, others have felt similarly to what you describe. God is a healer, and a restorer. ❤ God bless ❤
I saw the title and just coming back to Christ again after getting stuck in the new age world. So I'm super interested in what you have to say because I have always been very sensitive to the Holy Spirit. This is probably why I got swept up even though I knew better but the enemy masked himself so cleverly. ♥️
I was saved out of the new age in 2018. The enemy tried to get me to not believe in the gifts of the Spirit due to him condemning me and telling me it was the same as my old life. LIES. satan is a perverter of the truth. Jesus died and sent the Holy Spirit to indwell the believer and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit causes to walk in gifts! The gifts are to build up the body the Christ and other believers and also to display the glory of God, we are to be a light for Jesus!

It's amazing you chose this topic. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is what drives the passion to evangelize as a Christian & the peace that passes understanding that it brings into your life. The perfect is when your in heaven, not while you live on earth. The church I attend is going through Acts & the prophetic word for the year is supernatural. The gifts are 100% for today. If your church is cessationist my advice would be leave & find another church.

I don't remember who exactly said it, but it stuck with me, because it sounded so logical.. if speaking in tongues and deliverance etc. were from the devil, but they bring the person closer to God and makes them want to worship more, love more, pray more and brings peace and joy, then these things would probably be the stupidest thing the devil ever came up with. The speaks to my core. I’ve mostly attended a small Baptist church that preaches cessationism. For so long, I’ve felt the pull of the Holy Spirit, telling me there is more. Crusty and dry is an accurate way to describe it, despite the beautiful fellowship and experiences I’ve had. I’ve just stayed out of comfort and lukewarm naivety, believing I could just have my own personal relationship going well. This makes the “if one part of the body is sick, the whole body is” make even more sense.
I would love to see you make a video about being an empath. This is something I got into primarily when I was in New Age. It was heavily promoted to me in my astrological birth chart reading too, so I do think it could be something coming from the kingdom of darkness. And for me, it felt like a burden but also was a point of pride. This is something I’ve been wondering about since being saved because it does feel real. Really look forward to you discussing it. ❤

Our stories are similar. Found the church two years ago and babtised this year. And what a change. I was always against it and life - those spiritual gifts were made clear in life and I also try to speak similar to you by just bringing awareness through my story. Others have seen the transformation and tell me it strengthened them. Blessings are real. I could communicate this better….

Because of my lack of faith in God, I fell hard. I was saved and I STILL chose to follow Abraham hicks, Eckhart tolle, sadhguru and so many others 😢😢😢 I too was on my kitchen floor when I was saved.

I’m finally seeing that now as a 39 year old woman, and it’s so so so beautiful and I’m so glad I get to experience it and be a part of it. Long story short, the day I was born again I seen a black crow out the window perched and then flew off after praying a surrender prayer. I believe that was the darkness inside me after seeking new age as “spiritual awakening”

Please do a video on Empath stuff cause ppl really don’t understand the origins and how the enemy uses this against those who are highly sensitive and/or discerning. If anyone feels that they struggle because of their empathy, please remember that everything must be filtered through the Holy Spirit and the process of sanctification. Read the book of Philippians especially if you struggle with your thoughts 💭
I believe you are theologically correct but it seems sooo many charismatic churches get way off track into the prosperity gospel, false teachings, over emotionalism etc. Some even dont carefully teach Gods word, they rely instead on emotional “power” displays almost like a wild /strange entertainment. If we could find a church with peaceful, reverent, orderly worship and , deep Biblical teaching that also acknowledged, taught and practiced the gifts, that would be amazing. I dont think that exists - at least near us. I wrote this at the beginning of listening so am eager to hear what you have to say!
totally get this line of thought, action/reaction response. thanks for covering the area of concern for the tools and techniques hosting Christ-impostor spirits. even apart from manifestation gifts, the evidence of a life & heart actively connected to Christ will be evident as well; more discipleship, Word, grace and the rest: the fruits, and the gifts -follow- those that believe (first).. better rooting & growth before the fruits, as well as healthy 'gardeners'/pastors/leaders seems the ideal, and it's rare.
In terms again of water and spirit. There are many who believe that it means a physical birth. They deny water baptism in a sort of panic and will make whatever excuse they can to claim it isnt necessary. John 3:1-10 You cannot enter the kingdom, which is the body of true believers without being born again. In baptism, we die to the flesh and are raised with christ alive in the spirit. You will find on the website of alot of so called churches that claim baptism is only a public display of you following christ. Though the word says starkly and firmly otherwise. That it is as necessary as having faith. The word speaks well of this throughout the new testament as well as the old.
This happened to me too, and my brethren had told me I was being rebellious when I left the church. I cried out to God because I thought the brethren really loved me but when I questioned about the spiritual gifts I was told God couldn’t use us in that way because we are sinners. Which didn’t make any sense… I decided to leave after they told me if I didn’t get baptized again under their doctrine I couldn’t be a member of the church or was proving fruits of my salvation. That really made me question their doctrine and I decided to take it to God. God then opened the door to the church I originally got baptized in
