But most sports parents aren't crazy. They just get caught up in the whirlwind of youth sports.

Youth sports are in trouble. 70% of kids will quit by the age of 13. Sports specialization is destroying kids' bodies, and the soft-tissue repair market is in the billions because of youth sports. Sports parents are fighting and screaming and acting crazy and out of control on the sidelines, creating a toxic youth sports environment for kids and young athletes.
Who's to blame? All of us. The youth sports clubs, the coaches, the parents, the club leagues. We all have a part in what has become a cut-throat, win-at-all-costs environment that is now stressing our kids out more than it's helping them.
Let's work together to right this ship.
Let's remember how the kids feel and what the kids want. They want to have fun. They want their parents to support them and not pressure them. They want to hear you say, I Love To Watch You Play, instead of what they did wrong.
Too many kids are stressed, kids feel pressured, they don't feel supported. Kids today feel like they have to be perfect.
