Lol 🤣 I work in the flooring industry in Arizona and that's one of the most common problems in flooring... So for the owner of the company to say they have never seen that is very surprising. They should have done a moisture test on the slab before they even quoted you for the project. Good thing they are giving you a warranty and not charging you double

Yes 100% installers fault. Always check the moisture level. Best thing you can do is remove concrete and put the proper moisture barrier underneath the concrete. And even use and add mixture called Barrier One in the concrete. But from the looks of it you’re not going to be able to install epoxy floors. Tough break. This is why it’s always good to hire a construction advisor.

I do epoxy floors and that’s totally on the installer ! They should’ve been checking and monitoring the moisture way before doing the floor . You should’ve known before you even spent all that money . Rule of thumb ALWAYS check the moisture before laying the floor . Guess your installer didn’t know what he was doing . Makes me wonder if they even opened the concert? You have to grind and run a shot machine. Basically like bbs . Y’all got screwed by that company and would expect a full refund

none of you and i mean NONE of you know what transpired.... they easily could have done moisture test and the moisture only comes certain times of the year... if they watched it for 2 month did the floor and the water didnt come for another 2 months itd indicate to me there are certain times of the year that it would do that and they were probably un aware

That’s a real bummer on the floors😌 Just wondering…do the lifts have anchor bolts drilled in floor ? ..If so does that moisture in concrete and being near salt air pose any concerns ..how strong is concrete structurally…and any concerns of corrosion on anchor bolts? I really don’t know the answer..but had that thought when watching. Keep up the great content!!👍

I feel like if there was an issue with that it would’ve presented itself with the old lifts… they’re both mounted to the concrete and they would’ve known well before they replaced them

Interesting point brought up. From a structural engineering perspective I would wonder about corrosion of the Re-Bar re-enforcement embedded in the concrete. That amount of moisture I question how the building permitting and inspection would have passed without some requirements for moisture barrier before pouring the concrete. Good thing it is only a two story structure. Sucks but I don’t see them getting the epoxy floors wanted, probably back to a floating floor system. No pun intended Lol 😂

Yes! I just polished a concrete floor inside the Volvo factory. Turned out great, 7 stage polish or more will turn out great.

DDE in the video: There was moisture, the installer missed it and they’re testing to see how much moisture is here and grinding the floor and replacing everything under warranty. Installer in the video while working on the floor: There was moisture we missed it. We’re testing for how moisture there is to determine how to not have this happen again. The comment section: I think the installer messed up. This should be on the installer. 🤦🏾‍♂️

That's the reason why the concrete is supposed to be shot blasted to a number 3 or 4 before applying a waterproofing layer. Also the company should check for the amount of moisture in the concrete before applying the waterproofing. I would use a sikalastic 710 base coat And sikalastic 715 or 735 for the top code

I was totally thinking the same, engines are never supposed to get that hot, risk blowing the head gasket, you need to stop immediately if it gets like that! Might have caused the leak tbh as the coolant pressure builds with temperature.
