As a writer, my first sitcom credit was ELR ("Crazy Chin"). Phil is one-of-a-kind. The spin-off would've been incredible!

Nah. The REAL hit would’ve been one of the twins buys the house off Ray and marries a girl just like his mommie. Ray & Debra move into Frank and Marie’s house and history simply repeats itself. That would still work, right now.

If it had Chris Elliot in it, it wasn’t good.

CBS did get their friends it was called How I Met Your Mother.
