Buy a Grand Vitara if you want to fit in prams, personally, I think the Fronx is a good car no need to compare it to the Jimny as they do not serve the same purpose. You not buying a Fronx to offroad. The Jimny is quite small, to be honest, it is basically for 2 people you cannot fit much in there as well.
Update, since I went to the showroom yesterday. The car is flimsy as hell, specially for me riding a land rover since 4 years. I grabbed the door edge i almost broke it, same for the front bonet, it feels so light like plastic toys. Yikes
I watched this video beacuse I bought both.... a Fronx (FRONKS) and a Jimny.... And sad to say I'm more dissapointed in the acting than in the Jimny. The FRONX is an awesome run around and very useful. The Jimny is an expensive toy. But one that can swim, I promise. P.S. And I have a family.... A teenager and a 7 year old, and the FRONSHEI does pretty fine taking us around town.
@@gtmagsa7965 "How odd"🧐 I bought the Jimny as a toy, and thought it would serve as a daily run around for my wife. Unfortunately she refused to drive the Jimny as she felt it was terrible on the 20km highway drive between home and her office. The FRONX became an instant favourite at home, and it gets preferred over the other family vehicle (DC) for short distances. Maybe get your son a smaller stroller, the boot is pretty big for a small car.
Power, performance, convenience are traded off for long term ownership concerns and fuel economy. Mazda also doesn't offer turbocharging on THE 3, CX-3, CX-5 and CX-30. Some other manufacturers who sell well in RSA do the same.
Unfortunately your knowledge of automotive target markets and consumers is lacking. Besides are you aware of the vast difference in maintenance between the two cars. 2wd vs 4wd..
You are wrong, I am not watching because I want to buy, but because I hate it. I think only your son (for now) and Peter Dinklage can comfortably sit on the back seat. Good luck if you need to drive 1000 Km in that car, or God forbid to Joburg...
This is not an objective review! It is an irrational rant in a squeeky voice by an angry narcisist. Even the kid in the background is upset by his yelling and angry gestures.
I love Jimny, but fronx is for young adults you wouldn’t understand…. Also people who buy Suzuki they are not looking for power if you want power your buy a Porsche
A Jimny 4 door is much more expensive (upper R400 000) The Jimny 2 door is also more expensive than the Fronx and is a different car in essence. It makes sense to buy a Fronx. 'This is the scariest sight of all' when the petrol attendant approaches🤔
The cute retro-styled Jimny only makes sense when you take the car off-road for 50% of your total time spent in the thing, when speed is not so much required, but off-road capabilities or putting along on pot-holed neighbourhood roads at 60 km/h or less is your thing. The Jimny's naturally aspirated engine is pap and has even less power - 16% less to be precise at the reef. It is gutless on the highway, doesn't deal well with inclined roads at speed. It is mechanically noisy and has the drag co-efficiency of a brick. You pay a premium to buy into that lifestyle. That's why the Fronx makes sense for perspective buyers. It's cheaper, more economical and perfect as an urban vehicle for small families, as most Suzuki vehicles are. Styling and the perception thereof is subjective, just saying.
Video is pointless. No real detail about the car itself. Think all I want to know is how it drives, features and price. Contradiction all over the show. If I didn't know the car I would have been so confused. Nice to hear about the your preference. It's one the coolest cars including the Beleno for the price.
Had to stop watching this ridiculous review, Get your facts straight when comparing apples with chocolate cake. Ask yourself what is the purpose of doing a review as your opinions lifted here is not even relevant.
I would dare to guess this particular vehicle is made for us smaller economies (I'm Mexican) and, for my income this is quite the only option if I want a car that doesn't spend much fuel, in which I can fit in our terribly distributed small streets and in which most of my family and friends will fit as, in average we are shorter people.
Nope, it all depends. Jimny sucks on road but is cool and is 4x4. You never going off-road, don’t buy the jimny, the Fronx is way nicer to drive and obviously is way more practical. But as far as engines, they use the exact same engine.
i like the jimny but would not pay more than 150k for one. i really like the other suzuki with the dumb name. shouldve rather called it baleno cross or something
Dude perhaps change your demeanour. When you notice the success of the VW small crossovers, essentially a Polo, then ypu will notice that this is a cool car at a decent price point. Haval entered the market with good quality cars at a excellent price point, Toyota did the same with the Corolla Cross. This is the segment that people are buying. I don’t own or plan to own one but you review the car without pointing to the big positives, tech and comparison to the segment. Dumping your negativity on a new car like this is unprofessional.
As a young man who lives alone anddrive 10 minutes towork. I'll definitely buy this FRONX because of very obvious reasons. But since there is now a Toyota Starlet Cross, I'll go for it
My lower back got stressed after just a 15 min test drive. Suzuki needs to improve the seats. Its too soft. The suspension is good only for smooth roads. Hard pass!
@@gtmagsa7965 Nah, the Jimny doesn’t have parking sensors or a reverse camera. It’s a cool car, but it lacks tech appeal. And it has a minuscule boot. Almost has the same value proposition of a two door convertible. But I admire your love for the car. You should definitely buy one.🤘🏻
Very cramped squashed interior and tall people's heads touch the ceiling. Only feels fine in the front seats. Ground clearance poor at 170 mm. You should rather consider the Baleno if you you were wanting this. The Nissan Magnite has way better interior space, has a nippy turbo engine with superior ground clearance at 205 mm and the Cvt gearbox works seamlessly. Boot space is also better and has almost identical features with surround camera, keyless entry, tyre pressure monitor etc. Think it is a fraction heavier on fuel though. In my mind a no brainer, I test drove both and had no doubt in my mind and bought the Magnite.
Nissan makes the most useless cvt boxes of them all. Been there done that burnt the t shirt. As for the magnite, it's horrendous for back seat passengers. Claustrophobic as heck. Fronx is a much better buy rand for rand
No you lie. Hyundai Venue is better looking than this front or fronx you call it. Venue has a lot of head room and space and a better engine with great infotainment.
