I think the fact that upon people telling them about a problem they were having, the company reached out to send people things to fix it, that alone gives me a good impression of the company at least

Pinterest has been showing me this sofa for months! I appreciate the review. I could see this working really well in a guest room/office. Most sofa beds are butt ugly.

this is so helpful. there really isn't any reviews out there despite relentless marketing on instagram. i've been eyeing this sofa for almost a year now, but the chrome bars moving is definitely a deal breaker for me.

Took matters into my own hands when I realized there was a showroom where it’s displayed where I live. It wasn’t at all what I personally looked for in a sofa (which made me so sad because I loved the way it looked). Not comfortable enough for enjoying a two hour movie painlessly. I have a “floor couch” which is what I call the full sized mattress on the floor of my living room. It has a giant wedge pillow along the long side for back support against the wall, and a bunch of pillows. I love it! This is basically an elevated version, it catches my interest.

I didn't know about this couch and it now feels like it's exactly what I've been looking for, honestly. Thanks for the review! It's very objective indeed and very honest:) Can't have enough of that in our contemporary world! By the way, the price of this is generally the same as the one that looks like that in IKEA and another I found on KAVE home - all of them are very similar, but this one is the only one that actually unfolds fully.

The way i really love the lounge/relaxed vibe that it gives, i literally got it customized with a local welder/carpenter because i can't get it shipped to Rwanda. I like that you talked about the metal bars, and I'm wondering if it would make sense (since I'm basically getting it done from scratch) to put another metal bar underneath the mattress at the bottom to connect the others, to avoid each sliding off! Either way, looking forward to getting it delivered :) Thanks again!

Do you know if it’s mold proof? I’m a bit worried about the lower matress being that close to the floor and am too lazy to lean it against the wall to breathe.

I recommend getting a memory foam mattress topper if you’re using it as a bed. Its pretty affordable and makes a big difference

I got this sofá back in march and honestly kinda regret it. The mattresses are not comfortable and they’re stretching in the middle like I can see with yours (the top mattress is rounded on the front side). It’s super expensive and I would’ve bought a sofa in ikea for half the price honestly. Or pay the same (2100 euros in Spain with the shipping) for another sofa from a better brand

Great review, so thorough! I’m not buying this sofa since I actually have its vintage ancestor, by De Sede (alas I got mine when they were unwanted and inexpensive at auction and now they’re $$$$). It has a very similar design but the cushions are sewn together and fold out, and each section is twin-sized. Really solves the design issues you highlight but the open form is not intended to be left that way, the undersides have different fabric. Win some, lose some? Question: I LOVE your wall bookcase, who makes it? It’s so sleek.

I've also seen relentless ads for this sofa I quite like. HOWEVER. My concern is mold/mildew underneath, like I've seen a lot of futons and mattresses on the floor suffer from. I'm too lazy to be airing things out all the time. But putting it on a base is even more money. Maybe its made for drier climates. I used to have a 80s hand me down fold out foam sofa bed that I guess was kind of similar (we had it on a base most of the time when it was a sofa) Incredibly comfy, just ugly. But the two mattresses were joined together with velcro, as they'd kind of scoot apart in the night and you'd fall down the gap.

Your Teddy is so cute! This looks comfy but the low back situation is a no.

If you can buy the covers could you not just buy two mattresses and the cushions?

this fabric would be absolutely terrible for cats. you'd probably have to wash this at least twice a week to keep the hair manageable
