Who says it doesn’t? Women are super toxic BUT are known to go get help and heal. We seek therapy over harmful behaviour. This term is misunderstood in society. This is actually more harmful to other men. Reasons why they commit suicide at a higher rate

Toxic masculinity is a set societal expectations that have a negative impact on men. Like for example "men don't cry", this tells men to push their emotions into a corner and box it in, never letting it out. That's the kind of thing that makes men kill themselves. Or another example, homophobia. Men are encouraged (most often by their male guardians) to discriminate homosexual men. These things are done on the same name of positive masculinity represented by toxic men who ruin the name of men.

There is no such thing as toxic masculinity. It's not the masculinity, but the character of a person regardless of their gender. Being too sensitive isn't good regardless of gender and so isn't showing no emotion. Toxic feminism on the other hand does exist and is shown a lot.

Secondly, tate doesn’t even attempt to define what toxic masculinity is, its a range of behaviors associated with masculine traits that harm men themselves, such as emotional repression. Thirdly, the idea that these behaviors are actually what women are attracted to is hilarious and tells me that tate knows nothing about women
