I understand it's a bit of a weird to kind of get upset over but I think it's valid because it's kind of the same thing as people who just post memes and say absolutely nothing of value. To me the people who just post cat/meme gifs and add nothing to the conversation just comes across as people who don't have friends, and maybe that's for a good reason because they don't come across as someone who's very good at conversation.
