Honestly, the Qur'an is written by Iraqi people close 150 years after prophet Muhammad's died. The god of muslims is only obsessed with females and sex. The simple fact is that Quran was written by mem who are. Interested in sex and enjoying and controlling women. The god who created universe is interested in female species of human's is truly absurd. Good luck on being a human being.

According to studies, 99.7% of growth is from high birth rates (Muslims have the highest fertility rate of any major religious group) and only 0.3% comes from conversions. Many converts leave the faith however... "We don't have exact statistics but some stats say 50 per cent will leave within a few years,” says Usama Hasan, a part-time Imam and a senior researcher at the counter extremism think-tank, the Quilliam Foundation. Also, because of increasing prosperity (and hence education), the birth rates are going down :) According to data from the UN, Muslim fertility rate has declined from an average of 6.4 births per woman in 1970 to 2.9 births per woman in 2020 (global average was 2.4 in 2020) and the trend continues as people become more educated and have less children.
Part of the problem is that we view islam as a religion, it's not just a religion. Islam is a totalitarian sociopolitical and economic sistem, with a religious component, in fact the religious aspect of Islam is minor compared with its other components . Islam is a political framework for managing all mankind's affairs. Islam is Firstly about ownership, then about GOVERNMENT, thirdly about administrative authority, subordination, dominance, doctrine, ideology, tradition, and finally also RELIGION, justice and answerability come last in the Islamic law. Its not my opinion,it's the Islamic scholars that say so. Islamic scholars themselves label islam as a "Deen". (look it up) Karl popper's paradox of tolerance comes to mind. A free society cannot remain free if it tolerates those who will not tolerate the behavior of others. The West in general can be considered "free"(although it really is not) compared to islamism.
I am currently talking with a hard nosed muslim, and it is difficult as he insists the quran is perfect and won't question it and yet all other sources like science, and Bible are supposed to be questioned. I've mentioned the historical and factual inaccuracies and he has gone literally out of his way and out of reasoning to justify them even LYING to me about information. He rejects scientific facts that are wrong and tries in vain to say its my interpretation or I am not understanding the Arabic. Anyway true religion should not have these scientific error, factual errors, and historical errors. I know you are leaving much and risking death leaving Islam. I will pray for you all. Just know you have friends among the Christians. PS: one of the biggest factual and historic errors in the quran confuses Mary mother of Jesus with being the Miriam sister of Moses and Aaron. They said: ‘O Mary! Truly a strange thing has thou brought! O sister of Aaron, thy father was not a man of evil, nor your mother a woman unchaste!’” (Sura 19:27-28) Those 2 are over 1400 yrs apart and not a mistake an all knowing Allah or good angel Gabriel should make.

If there ever were a true creator who needed us all to do and follow certain things for our salvation for the life of the hereafter, that creator would have justly revealed his message clearly and universally to all people for all times, right from the time we were born without us having to struggle to figure out the truth. We would not need a man, a book, a language, from a local region of the world at a certain time in history to reveal this message. In this way every single person would have a fair shot at their salvation.

We have to stop building walls between religions and start building multi-lane bridges. The world is a very different place today and people of God cannot afford to continue fighting amongst themselves ignoring existential threats out there. Do we even know anymore what it means to serve God? To serve our families and communities? To serve fellow man/woman around the world regardless of where they come from or what they believe and practice? If Jesus, Moses, Muhammad, Buddha, plus other holy people were to suddenly reappear in the World today, does anyone think they immediately go to war with each other or sit down and figure out a way to make their adherents happy and the world a better place WORKING TOGETHER? I think the time has come for all religious folk to love and honor all members of other religions. We’ll all die a slow and painful death without.

Sometimes Westerners feel the emotional need of strict structure and discipline due to the sea of liberality and freedom that they never fought or worked for. This is why I think some people end up gravitating to Islam. Many westerners have excessive levels of liberality but little to no discipline/structure in their life, therefore they crave some sort of structure to give themselves meaning and see Islam is means of getting it... but many deconvert later when they discover or experience the dark side of it.

It is the internet and social media that is educating young people to leave islam in there droves . in the US and Canada 24% of young people are leaving Islam . 15 years ago it was unheard of to hear of muslim apostates now they are everywhere on the internet . And these muslim apostates are passionate about encouraging others to leave . in another 15 years , it is likely that young people will feel embarrassed to admit they are muslim , much like many young people are embarrassed these days to admit they are Christian.
It is much easier to become educated, open minded and leave Islam in the West. However, it's also going on in Islamic countries! Look at the religious demographics. UAE & Qatar are both 2/3 Islamic. Turkey youth is extremely irreligious and many of them don’t believe in Islam anymore. Iran, a country that is 99% Muslim on paper, isn’t even majority Islamic anymore with only 40% of Iranians identify as Muslim (less so for the younger population, and look at the massive protests against Islam there!). In Indonesia, which doesn't follow Sharia apostasy laws, ~30% of Muslims (200 million people) have left Islam. The well-known imam Yusuf Qaradawi said that Islam would never survive without enforcing apostasy laws. Also, majority of people who convert to Islam aren’t seriously religious, they don’t read the Quran, go to Mosque, or pray 5 times a day. Majority of Islamic converts leave the religion after 2-3 years according to surveys. The well-known Mufti Menk says that Islam is the religion of largest number of defectors. Articles/sources: "Senior Cleric Claims Religion In Iran Weak, 50,000 Mosques Closed" "Turkish students increasingly resisting religion, study suggests" "Majority-Muslim Turkey Becomes Less Religious, Poll Says" "Muslim Influence is Declining in Turkey" "Islam is on a decline. Who can blame them? But christianity is far better than islam. Quite many christian churches support lgb rights for marriages ar least perfofm by state. In islam such support almost not exist, because islam is totalitarian ideology. In christianity we have church and state apart so no one can forbade same sex marriages, if base on christianity which base on Jesus teachings.
Good for you. At least you can do it. Look at Malaysian muslims and struggle they have to go through. apostasy laws and kind of pain muslims had go through in Malaysia Such a shameful religion.
Unfortunately for the time being, many people don’t apply themselves or their intellect to get to the point where they question religions, be it others or the one(s) that they’ve identified with. In my general experience, people who leave religions through that active effort are some of the most levelheaded and kindhearted people I know. Ex-Muslims in particular are inspirational, perhaps because of a selection process that demands so many layers of critical reflection, particularly in “Western countries,” where there are many complex social pressures and dynamics at play.
Well recently in Wakefield an boy taken an book which is the quran and it happen to be little marks inside the book the school expelled him with other 3 boys and the muslims sends death threats towards him over an little mark be made in their evll book
For me it was the flaws, contradictions and inferior status of women and non muslims In the quran that made me question and confront my doubts. You need to be bold enough to question even Allah and why not? He is closer to us than our jugular vein.
@@mamiel4413 wow you came up with, covering which is a highly impractical order. I am talking about the unjust sharia rules that hurt women economically, financially and emotionally.
@@sadiqakhan277 many civilizations have covered their women, from jews to christians, it is very practical, Sharia isnt making men and women equal, equality between the 2 genders is unfair becauze they have their differences, after i stated you can give some examples of opression of women in islam
I left Christianity when I was 12. It did not make any sense to me. Whenever I asked questions I got nonsense answers or was told to shut up. That was 64 years ago. I have been an atheist all that time.

When people listen to fairy tale stories of the Quran they may become Muslim. When people read and understand the Quran they definitely become ex-Muslim.
@@thefirm4606 stories of the Jews are examples to avoid,(no mimic) also not all are prophets, as for the parabolic story of Adam & Eve, it is the sad story of... all of us that teaches that when we feels fear, we becomes incapable of taking responsibility and showing love to the person standing next to us, ! Abraham also tests God's patience with his deadline to sacrifice his only child to save (as he thinks his eternal divine soul) you don't need to try to explain the Bible like the rabbis, Buddha Socrates Jesus all have a good biography, , leave the comfort life to learn and do what they need to pass the truths to us
heeyy everyone idk can i text it here, but here we are, i live in Russia with my muslim family but i'm atheist. I'm afraid that my family will make me marry someone i don't like(i'm queer). Just become career girl get your own place then tell them you're gay through phone as someone who believes in God and wouldn't leave because loves Jesus of Nazareth
Interesting. This video on Muslims leaving Islam for Atheism is of course just part of the picture. No religious reflections are covered. It is amazing that the lack of logics and scientific validity of the Quran is sufficient for the apostates to leave as it incurs a very real risk of having your life on earth abrogated! It would be interesting to watch a video which compares the religious contents of Islam (to the extent that there is one) with that of Christianity comparing and contrasting the two in terms of promise of eternal life etc.
The reason why some people are afraid of hard questions is because hard questions can be intimidating, especially when they suspect or know you are scrutinizing or critiquing their beliefs. People (of most, if not all religions or viewpoints) can get defensive if you attack or critique their foundational beliefs. This can be due to the fear of their own foundations crumbling beneath them &or also pride. If one values truth, one should seek to understand reality.
Also, a tip from an author whose content I enjoy reading: "If you go in for argument, take care of your temper. Your logic, if you have any, will take care of itself" -J.P.F.
@@uthman2281 cause i have seen people avoiding such conversations and people who have valid arguments. They have doubts but are too scared to voice them.

Perhaps there is an Islamic variant of the Soviet phrase: "They pretended to pay us, and we pretended to work". That might be, "They pretended to tell us the truth, and we pretended to believe them." Both phrases being a mode of survival.
