This man deserves the biggest apology ever from everyone. He did not deserve any of this :( His life was already difficult enough. I however am so proud of him, proud of the man he has become.

Untamed was my base to Chinese culture, it got me into Chinese musical instruments, clothes, Chinese costume dramas as well as mxtx novels and though I personally follow lan wangji ideology but I was fond of weiwuxian character both in novel and drama and I felt like Xiao zhan was made for this character, I searched about Xiao zhan and when I find out that he is banned because of some foolish reason I was dumbstruck I felt like he is literally living weiwuxian life, looking him now, really happy for him and his success.

The Untamed actually got me hooked on Chinese drama. I will be truthful I had not read the original book before watching the drama but Xiao Zhan & Wang yibo both portrayed their character so well that I was left speechless especially Xiao Zhan. After that I read the whole novel(I have woken up an obsession for novels now). After reading the novel I felt like Xiao Zhan was born to play the role of Wei Wuxian and now I am a loyal fan of Xiao Zhan.

This man really blew me away in The Untamed. It was just such a raw and heartfelt performance and he's just an exceptionally talented artist. Hopefully after all these set backs the poor guy can finally focus on his career and get the recognition he deserves. Very much looking forward to seeing him in Tibetan Sea Opera xxx

This young man is definitely an Incredible actor and deserves to be treated with the UTMOST RESPECT!!! It pathetic when you have idiots out there that find reasons to make up something that doesn't even come close to what it is ... and it's even more Idiotic that the Entertainment & Top Notch brands cower to such ridiculous rumors .... especially with no proof. I'm glad that things are calming down for this young man... and I truly do hold the highest Respect for his talent as an Actor. I'll continue to watch out for the future dramas that will have this young man starring.

What he has gone through when acting is nothing but abuse. Abuse growing up and now abuse as an adult. His so called fans can even abuse him with their comments. It has to effect him mentally and emotionally. I feel sorry for him and all the others that go through this.

I watched The Untamed in 2019 and it is still my favorite show to this day. 2020 was a terrible year for Xiao Zhan. But also for everyone who likes this young man. It was unfair and just plain terrible. I am an old woman (54). He could be my son. I felt so sorry for him. But it made all the fans stronger. And we love him even more.

XiaoZhan is the definition of honesty n hardwork... XZ is an impressively talented actor but firstly he's a great human being, a very kindhearted, generous n down-to-earth... he suffered like hell bcz of toxic people who tried to destroy him n almost ruined his career but he is a determined n persistent person so he took his suffering as steps to climb higher n achieve his goals.. XZ is a promising young man with a successful career now but he's still the same by nature polite, humble n pure ❤❤❤

I'm a very big fan of the MDZS universe, and I think he was the perfect cast for Wei Wuxian. ❤ My first impression of Xiao Zhan was that he looked like such a sweetheart, and watching this video of his back story and ethics, made me teary eyed and he gained a whole new level of love from me. He's now on my fave actors list. 🥰

Just watched the untamed after watching the anime version. I became so attached to the characters, Wei Wu Xian and Lan Wang Ji, that I have been searching everywhere videos, interview, behind the scene of the actors. He performed so well his role, the crying and laughing just got to the heart of the viewers, he is stunning in everything, for someone who just started to learn to dance in the competition, we can see how hard working he has been to be able to catch up. So sad that he had to go through the 227 case... he did nothing wrong but had to apologize to everything... He really is the real life Wei Wu Xian ... I hope he is good now and still in touch with Wang Yi Bo, they are just too cute together !

Thank you for making this mini documentary of XZ career path. I just have known him accidentally this July 2023 through his drama The Longest Promise having no other kdrama that interests me. I am not a fan of cdrama because of its very long episodes but like its xianxia. Since the white costume of the man in the thumbnail reminds me of a drama I really like a long time ago, I started watching ep 1 with not much expectation. But by 2nd episode, I know I was in danger. I have fallen and fully captivated by the acting of this man. Then I started searching for his other dramas and movie and tumbled upon The Untamed. I also discovered that he is not only a very passionate and good actor but also a good person who went through a lot but remained strong yet humble. He truly is worthy of my respect. I stan the right man. I am trapped, forever. Not complaining though. Wo ai ni Zhan-ah.😊❤❤❤

As he has, and continues to, seek justice from people who hurt him and targeted his family. There have already been sentences, criminal and civil, and "the opponent", as Xiao Zhan's lawyer called them, may be strong but sooner or later Karma will get him. The infamous 227 was planned way before that date, evidence isn't even difficult to find even for non-Chinese people. And that novel, it created a mess because it was advertised on Chinese socials. AO3 was already down in China when XZ's antis launched their attack. They thought he could be easily destroyed, forced to silence or worse. Much worse. We have already seen what happened to Korean stars when targeted. But he isn't like everybody else. He is Xiao Zhan. And he rose from the ashes to reclaim what has always been his, and was briefly stolen and given to others. He will continue to shine when those who rely on crooked ways will be forgotten.

I’m an unbiased connoisseur of raw talent whether born with it or obtained through hard work and this young man is exceptional because he is both,talented and intelligent. It’s a pity and a tragedy when so called fans become fanatics and blackmailers. I love watching Korean and Chinese dramas and movies more than any from other countries because all these Actors and Actresses as well everyone associated to entertainment industry give 100% to their craft. So why do governments, management companies, agents etc. give into these fanatics? People and governments should be proud of these people who are extremely talented and well represent the culture and arts. Everyone should be allowed to have a private life the way they want as long as they don’t harm others or break the laws.
