I believe in Garabandal . When you combine all the apparitions of the Virgin Mary you will see that it has one clear message : confession , Eucharist , fasting ,pray the rosary or the world will be greatly chastised for its sins .

I married a Spaniard and lived in Spain for many many years during the 1960´s. 70´s, 80´s and part of the 90´s. I never heard of Garabandal or I would have visited there. Spanish TV did not promote it. At one point, it came to my attention and I was given a copy of Conchita´s Diary in Spanish.

I think a lot of people are skeptical because Mary said that the visionaries would deny the apparitions, which they did. Also, a lot of strange and bizarre phenomenon happening, the walking backwards, levitating....why all the strange happenings? I personally believe in the Garabandal event, but I can understand why some and the Church are still cautious and have not approved it yet.
Garabandal definitely has a "weird factor" to it. However, the Lord is not unaccustomed to breaking our categories. In the Gospel, Jesus told the crowds that they would have no life within them unless they ate his body and drank his blood. In Lourdes, the virgin asked St. Bernadette to eat grass and drink mud water in front of everyone. If a person remained on the superficial level of these things, they would be deterred. However when one looks deeper, we find the workings of God. I am also reminded of Matthew 11:25 when Jesus said "I give praise to you Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and learned you have revealed them to the childlike." @@ServantsHMFilms Thanks Fathers this is certainly true. I remember watching a documentary on Garabandal as a kid and being totally petrified! But I understand what the message means now that I have grown in my faith and matured and it is certainly a very important message, esp in our current world situation.

I’ve never done this before but I’ve read all the comments and replies so far Most are believers and some are not Some have have very legitimate and discerning questions Questions I have: 1.) we are told by the lady to follow the church/priests then we are told that many bishops/priests are on “the road to perdition” and will lead many followers to this ruin?? If a person is led by an evil priest, because they have been commanded to obey the priests, then why punish the poor person I personally had a great devout friend who once told me, concerning all apparitions, that he doesn’t need them. His faith is built on Jesus alone
There have been heresies and conflicts since the early days of the Church. We, the laity, need to be in a state of grace, and continually ask the Holy Spirit for the gifts of Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, Counsel, Piety, Fear of the Lord,.
The blessed mother was always so solemn in her appearances. I'm not saying she's not capable of laughing but as grave as the messages are she laughed because the children sang badly? I'm not doubting, it's just different from her usual disposition when all is a serious mess in the world even more so now than in 1961.

s1 John 4:1 All spirits must be tested, do not believe every spirit but test the Spirits. Why are we not asking the vision why she is not asking for the first Saturdays to be promoted and prayed, why was it ok to ask for this devotion at Fatima and not here? and I don't mean just a mention. Mark 16:"go out to the whole world and proclaim the good news" why not ask the vision is it ok just to lead good lives or should the good lives come from practicing the sacraments as laid down by Christ. Other people through other faiths maybe good people but Jesus said no one comes to the father except through me. Let the visionary put these to the vision.
I am fascinated about Garabandal. I think it's the real deal, even if the Church has not approved it. But I think I've heard, watched, read everything there is to know about it, and if someone has newer information, please let me know.

Very strange that Conchita herself is doubting the visions. She even thought for a moment they never happened..... Nevertheless I believe in Garabandal but NOT in Medugorje!
Conchita does not currently doubt the visions and has affirmed their authenticity. Her doubts only happened during during a phase of her life. Our Lady told her that her confusion over the apparitions was supposed to reflect the confusion that would reign in the church. As a child, she was also FORCED to deny them by ecclesial authorities. But she never denied them completely, and the document she signed was a BLANK piece of paper. Therefore, her past negations hold no weight.
I completely believe in garabandal I saw the original raw film footage when I was a kid way before computers were in existence the fact the church dismissed it and still does at Vatican only confirms my resolve the more in these turbulent times we are in now where the film is now is a mystery cannot find it anywhere has the enemy censored it too?
