I never really liked materia or the competitive scene much because of all the toxicity and stupid claims theres nobody whos actually top 1 its just the "KNOWN" top 1. there are better players out there and at top level most people play the same

Wait, so you told us to use common sense and to not blame boomy for what some impersonator said, but what about Materia? Because chances are there are just as many people making fake Materia accounts. It makes sense for people to try and make Materia look bad,considering he is one of the two best players in the word. In reality, you can't really debunk their discord messages unless you know for a fact that they're the real deal. Not to mention you could easily photoshop a lot of false info in. So just screenshots aren't going to get anyone anywhere. Theirs just too many ways that someone could modify a message, or stage a conversation. As for the ping, there's a good chance they knew their ping before hand, and Boomy only complained about ping after losing. If ping was such a big problem, he would've said something before the fight. So I think Boomy may have just been looking for an excuse for why he lost.
