Mr. Beast did that for fun, he knew exactly he would lose money, and the pawn shop would make money. He was just happy to be nice.

Anyone? What common sense would know if you bring a watch to a pawn shop, you're never going to get full value for it!! These young kids believe anything😢

He didn't get scammed and he is not "a young kid". He did it for fun knowing exactly what would happen. That "kid" is worth more than half a billion dollars and he donates millions every month.

Staged is a strong word. He knew what would happen. But he bought at "street retail" from a jeweler who sell at the highest and took it to a pawn shop who pay the bottom cash value. Those are the margins in watches.
