In this episode, Andrew discusses with Jayant Pandari the significant shifts in their Chinese investment portfolio, which has seen a tremendous rise of 50-70% in the past two months. They delve into the private sector's performance in China, contrasting it with state-owned enterprises. Jayant elaborates on the geopolitical backlash he faces for his views, particularly from woke communities and Indian diaspora in North America. They touch upon China's economic struggle, property market slump, and increasing demand for gold. Furthermore, they critically analyze East Asia's (China, Japan, and Korea) resilience, homogeneous culture, and law-based societies. The conversation also broaches topics on U.S. Army's current focus and potential for conflict between China and the U.S., with a cautious optimism towards East Asia's future. Join Andrew and Jayant as they unpack these complex and critical dynamics shaping the global investment landscape.

Declining population problem in Japan and Korea can now be easily solved by humanoid robots. But the massive diversity and multicultural problems of the USA will continue to drag her down.

Jayant dishes out the truth like few others. I wonder what his thoughts are on Chinese residential real estate, the leverage & valuation, and how that will affect China moving forward.

nope, properties are no longer a viable option for investment anymore, not for a long long time, in the foreseeable future the price will only gradually go down, with exceptions ofc, but those are highly valued items berried deep into the commercial centre in the mega cities not worth touching anyways.

This fellow is what we term a sepoy in India.
@jacku8304

You should thanks the sepoy for without them the British couldn't have created India. Without them there would be no India as the original "India"were fragmented independent states and kingdoms. Sepoy kept "India" in orderly development towards a nation in 1947. A new county with less than 80 years history.

Heard of the partition, dude. Jayantt frankly has a colonized mind, and seems to be stuck with shallow perceptions. And the British were in India to make money, not on some civilizing trip... @@jacku8304

His take on Chinese non-aggressive policy is non-sense. China is aggressive even against the US. Just look at how they interact with much smaller countries like Vietnam, the Philippines, India, and Japan.

Absolutely correct. The CCP has an 'empire mindset' - similar to what Nazi Germany had. China under the CCP is trampling on the rights of smaller neighboring nations. China is the big bully to be feared in Asia.
