@@natevisuals4120 Oh very much possible. Its also a line which reflects with every human being. We run in this world not recognizing the blessings we have and are sometimes ready to throw them away too... Until it is too late that is!
@@dr.abyscharles for sure. I loved the movie and that line specifically. Truly sad to see what we’re doing to ourselves and the damage human beings manage to cause in nearly everything we get our greedy hands on
Lol... thanks. That gave me a good chuckle. Your comment reminds me of those movies where humans are the bad guys. Realizing you're rooting against humanity is an interesting experience.
Comedies are often warnings that nobody takes seriously. Tragedies are how they are viewed after its too late and the warnings are proven to have been valid and accurate.
Oh. Way worse. When science deniers see this film, they associate themselves with the main characters speaking truth while all around them remain willfully ignorant. It is beyond irony.

@@devin2bendel Fr, alot of people talking bout "the movie is a nod to covid" which it is, partially. But it's mainly a nod to how we're treating the Climate crisis to a T. While the movie was slightly modified because of the pandemic, the script (that was made pre-pandemic) largely remained the same
Truthfully I tell you, society has been conditioned. We used glass and paper straws and cups etc... The question is why was that pulled away and plastic everything introduced? Engines long ago could have been clean emissions. HOA'S, GMO'S, etc ... What happened to gardens in almost every yard, chickens raised healthy, grass fed animals. Why all the GEOENGINEERING and fear mongering. We've been divided purposely on almost all topics. We don't have the command of the English language our parents and grandparents had. This man is paid to scare you.
@@user-co5yp2jr8n if that is the case (preview: is not) we still would need scientific data in order to prove it. That data needs to be consistent, explain several questions (Whats the shape of the Earth? why is that shape? When did Earth got that shape? Flat Earth model could be successfully applied to other celestial bodys? Etc...) Flat Earth lacks all kind of scientific data, can not answer most of the questions and the data gathering process for Flat Earth is has several flaws. We are talking about having rock solid scientific evidence and Flat Earth just does not have it.
The most ironic thing about this is that this is the man who would be the person to warn us 😮 if Mike Tyson said it, I would take with a grain of salt. But this being said by a Master of this particular Science tells me to pay attention. 🙄

I completely agree! Do you remember all those disaster movies about pandemics? We used to think, "Oh, come on! This is all exaggerated! No politician is that selfish, no businessman is that greedy, and the general public isn't that ignorant!" However, I believe that Covid has demonstrated that reality is much worse than those movies. 🤷🏽♂️
@@JensGraikowski Please read up on "wisdom of crowds". The experts shoved masks on us which were ineffective and guaranteed the covid vax stopped the spread and was as effective as natural immunity. All wrong.
We have to get away from the believe that scientists and experts have to know everything and are infallible, @@krishnancom. The very definition of science is that one constantly learns. Researchers and scientists find new developments all the time and adjust their recommendations accordingly. Were there mistakes made during the recent pandemic? Absolutely! There's no person alive who's been through a pandemic before. It was all new to the scientists and they had to learn just like everyone else. All in all they've handled the situation pretty well, though. Of course we'll never know how everything would've ended if some of all decisions were made differently and I certainly don't put much faith in so called "experts" with no scientific background or with their own agenda as motivation. The theory in itself that all scientists in the world have come together to deceive us or to help politicians of the governments of dozens of to deceive us (countries who can otherwise never agree on anything) is ludicrous! Masks are effective and the vaccine might not have had the full effect as expected, but was nevertheless helpful in containing the virus. Explaining this would go to far here, though and I doubt it would have any effect on you anyway. I'm familiar with "The Wisdom of Crowds" and though I do agree in several points with James Surowiecki I don't agree with his idea as a whole. But that again is a topic that could fill a book. 🤷🏽♂️
That's the 2nd most horrifying movie I've ever seen. The first time I saw it, I knew it was portrayed as a comedy to be socially acceptable. It's clearly a documentary.
I had my neighbor call home to Sri Lanka prior to the tsunami hitting. Nobody believed him. They laughed at him. 0ver 30k died. I ended up talking to a former police chief inspector and he said if he had gotten word on it that he could have saved 25k people. Tsunami warnings now go out over major hotel chain reservation systems to hotel managers around the world to contact local officials that they usually have direct cell phone numbers for.
I've never seen a movie depict American society more accurately. If they aren't dividing each other based on party lines they're attacking people that actually have their best interests at heart, screaming government conspiracy, and my favorite turning serious subject's into a meme. Americans have the reasoning capacity of a toddler.
I hear they literally had to rewrite the script as the pandemic hit because reality became so ridiculous that their site wasn't really very satire anymore. They had to make it more absurd to stay ahead of reality
Is it or isn't it? The world we live in today in is so balanced on a knifes edge of reality. The one thing that makes me feel lucky is that I'll probably be alive to see the beginning of the end. But not the end.
This is for NDT - Social media is a tempest in a teacup for those of us who avoid it. I hope this man, this genius, understands that his sacrifice of daily "exposure" to the masses and frankly, those who love social media, is akin to Sisyphus, yet as a society we are are so fortunate to hear that voice and that reasoning. Truly a voice in the wilderness that we must endeavor to listen for. Thanks NDT!
No but the movie was a metaphor of a lot of things humans can fix but they don't want to they're just letting the situation goes worse to worse they don't care
