Ehhh it just depends on the person. I got a lot of friends who don’t watch sneaker RU-vid and literally have no idea about any reselling RU-vidrs or stores and they still collect and prob live a more care free life.
So, you bring up some really good points regarding business logistics wherein people who bot shoes and resell are costing these companies money. The question is if they are willing do something about it.
I’m with you on this. Idk how they would even begin to implement this except for people returning large amounts I did manage to snag a W late in the game on snkrs
Damn you got a W on the hardest app to hit on!! I took L’s on every site! Thankfully I got an email from DTLR letting me know that I was selected for the Jordan 4 midnight navy size 13!! 🙏💪🏻
@@tellthetruth7497 I would say Finish Line is my go to for hyped releases! Here and there I’ll hit on Hibbett/City Gear but that’s it. Unfortunately I had to drive 80 miles to get my pair from DTLR but that was a Jordan 4 I couldn’t pass on!! 💯
@@ChrisB-vb9hh oooh it was in store. Yea I’m on the west coast no instore Dtlr for me. My buddy always hits on finishline like every release and i never hit on there 🤷🏽♂️
I passed on these. Every time I get white sneakers, I get them dirty when I wear them. Yeah I am one of the few that wears all of my shoes. Keep up the good work Truth.
Theres a lot of marketing reasons behind it. If a product it too available it’s not as desirable. Also think we can compare this to the release of the cool grey 11s. They made a million pairs and shits were still hard to get. They do keep releasing the panda dunks that’s about the only shoe I’ve seen them make crazy amounts of. And now the shoes a joke.
Jordans will ALWAYS be desirable though that’s what Nike don’t really understand , there will never be a year where nobody wants Jordans even with the bad economy but that’s just my opinion
I know botting is pretty shitty but I think manual users are hitting more nowadays if you do a little research yourself on how to. I got 4 pairs so i’m not complaining.
What’s that some reps? Ok so serious question. A lot of Jordan’s are sitting, there easy to get. There not expensive. They keep restocking. Like the powder Blue lows. So you get the real ones or u still buy reps?
@@tellthetruth7497 If I liked Jordan’s I’d pay retail for sure. Most of the sneakers I like cost $250-$600 retail/resale so I almost always just opt for reps.
@@tellthetruth7497 Retail means nothing to me though. I could careless. As long as the reps are good. At least for Nike’s and lower price sneakers the quality is comparable. If you’re talking about high fashion brands then I would want retail more since the quality difference may be higher, but even then my reps are always exceeding expectations
I say this as someone on the dark side. Who uses the B words. Nike is broken. All sneaker boutiques are backdooring. The in store Foot store’s are just as bad. The whole industry is broke.
Bought a pair of 2012 white cement 4s on eBay for a good price last week so wasn’t going to trip if I took an L but luckily got a personal pair on snkrs!
