a very new way of editing for me, with switching clips so often, it honestly made me uncomfortable to cut so quickly at first but i think it turned out pretty smooth
It’s a change from the usual, but still pretty funny. I always assumed that most of Wynn was lawless, and that the cities and fortresses power only extended within bounds of their walls. A bit like Skyrim, and how you could be a criminal in one city, while being an innocent man in the next.
probably, but apart from the king in troms and old dead emperors of almuj the only ruler in the Wynn province is the king of ragni so who knows. gotta love the skyrim comparison :p
This video was honestly something I've wanted to see for a while, the Wynn soldier is quite morally corrupt throughout the quests he performs in their journey despite their heroism In all honesty, a video detailing the wynn soldiers overall morality after all quests could be quite an interesting one, it'd be an extreme undertaking though
There is a grind spot for 40s levels on the Ice Islands. The big island that only has a mini quest for mining on one side of it; no other reason to visit it. On the other side is a fortress with mobs that appear to be hostile human soldiers. Hostile because you invade their fortress and start slaughtering them. Yes, they would be hostile even if you weren't attacking; they kill trespassers. But they never leave and never bother anyone that doesn't go over there looking for trouble. There is one quest late game where you start slaughtering soldiers that are allies before and after the quest, but even during it you can go back to the town for potion or to use the bank or whatever and they just ignore you. Going into caves to loot chests and killing mobs that never bother anyone except people who come into their cave and loot their chests. I do think about that a lot; in most RPG games I play, it is pretty clear I am the protagonist. In wynncraft, not so much...
@@Olinus10 Yeah, it is mentioned that there is actually a treaty between the Orcs and the Gavel citizens, which is why the farms and homes are mostly left alone, so they need a covert operation to take out some troublemaking leaders (suddenly you work for the CIA), which I can kind of see some justification for, but "you brought their heads?"; that's a little psychotic...
No wonder the last place we end up in is the lawless Lutho. By that point in the game, we're not trusted anywhere after breaking every last law that exists
Yeah, you have a great point. We do a lot of illegal or bad things throughout our journey. Like killing a famed chicken, breaking into the Rymek manor. Stealing liquid emeralds in Almuj, setting free the monsters in the Decrept Sewers, helping bandits in the mesa canyons, and even KILLING SANTA, just to name a few! The wynncraft world theme is mostly a dark, twisted, and evil place. But I seriously can't wait for the Fruma update. It will be GAME CHANGING!
This feels like a good idea to add a karma system sorta like in Infamous. You do more lawful and “good” deeds gives you good karma. You do evil stuff and you get bad karma. Something like that
Cool concept imo and very unique like you said. Its a nice change one in a while from the usual content. Dont get me wrong, the other content is still really good.
I know this isn't related to the video, but I am just excited to snag my first mythic during the Colossus raid. Note this was my first time doing it and it was exciting to finally get one after so many months of playing Wynncraft.
*Analyzing the pages related to the Ragni soldier* *Notices one of the errors* “Sir, you forgot the Ragni soldier’s crime related to Nick. The man who is working at the poorer areas of Almuj.” “While it is true that this Ragni soldier tried to help the poor, it may be unlawful to take the food from the festival.” “I say that we inform the king of the stealing of the food accepted by Nick. We may disband the charity organization if he does not comply.”
well this video works under the assumption that Wynn laws are the same as IRL laws, but judging by how there is no central gorvernment, I'd say wynn is way more liberal in this sense in that laws are more of guidelines XD
lmao :p yea its basically a dumbed down version of the actual swedish laws but analyzing wynn :p made it into like a convicition story instead of an analyzing type video so its more entertaining. and ragni laws prob wouldnt cover actions in other areas as well :p
@@Olinus10 XD it's a nice idea. tho I'd say that corruption and the fact you have to fight for your life pretty much everywhere would make stuff like murder pretty much legal in most cases unless you did it completely unprovoked
@@Rene23 well thats why i sorta had the mindset that killing corrupteds are fine, if theyre fully corrupted, but yea, self defense is another discussion but its not often murder in self defense would be considered okay
Purple and blue quest has 2illegal thing 1manslaughter (choosing to escape the cave alone/taking meteor)and theft (taking the meteor)and breaching code 4:6 by entering cave and lab And temple of legends when u need to hand kelight the stuff its drug dealing and hiding the ash's of bob which would count as hiding the body
interesting analysis! funny story, in swedish law, youre actually not responsible to save anyone, unless youre like a cop, medical worker, teacher / parent. so youre not getting in trouble for not saving someone, you could literally walk past someone drowning and you wont get in trouble
@@Olinus10 the corrupted potato and theres way more body hiding then i thought bobs crushed soul sayleros brothers ashes and mummy bandages are body parts their hiding
I just realized this but i'm pretty sure thats the ragni guard skin I made a while ago on skindex under the name WorkingTitle. but I could be wrong. Happy to see its being used!
Olinus10, by failing to speak in a nerd tone, you have violated clause 67 of the sacred Gamer's Code. Your gamertag will be revoked and you shall face the jury of your peers. Anything you say will be used against you in court. You have the right to call a lawyer. ( wait you're studing law at uni)
Ok listen up you mouldy chicken nugget I have to leave now this is my last form of communication with Wynn I wish you well and I have handed the mantle of the Meef to my brother your streams where great during the last time I spent here thanks and good bye :p
2022 and couldnt be bothered to use gender neutral pronouns lol. yeah its not the end of the world so whoevers about to type up a bitchfit at me for caring, you can stop now. Idk just seems inherently dumb when wynncraft- and the ragni soldier by extension- isn't solely played by dudes.
well its me playing the character, like its me running around thats why its scripted as a he, cuz im a he/him, but yes, generally the main character in wynn is whatever gender the player identifies as but in this script i play both characters so i made both he/hims and if people liked it i was planning on more versions for the other classes and different genders for them
@@Olinus10 yeah that became apparent the more i watched, but it still felt odd imo since you effectively refer to yourself as "the player character" throughout the video. Not trying to make a big deal out of it now though
