Hey Tim, place two strips of double sided tape on the back of the US plates but don’t remove the backing tape. This will reduce the risk of scratching your UK plates. Looking forward to seeing your rally experience.
Such a rough place to lose a wheel I was thinking of driving the 720 or c8 up to you guys to swap cars so u could do the rally lol. Happy u guys got it sorted

Honestly was a little disappointed the GT500 was doing the Gumball....but now I'm very EXCITED! Its the perfect car for it and it runs/looks/sounds a beast! But now it's there with the other cars....it looks just unreal with the sponsors on it, such a menacing car and the noise of it will go down very well with the fans.....now I'm very happy it's going on the Gumball 3000 😁😁😁 SO excited for these next videos....hoping they are long!
Bro....I watch you all the time...:) funny thing here...the reason why you were able to get the two rims is that the white gt500 was ordered for me and I turned her down for a 2021 gt500 carbonized grey from Donway Ford. I had drove a base triple black that I got at yong and steeles for 6000km and sold her with a satin hope green wrap. The same day I went and bought the track pack... Roy is THE man! A guy with a mission. Also, this Eleanor looks amazing :') Did you sue the state for the damage? If it was a European road, where we're not driving F150s and RAMs, there would be so many aluminum wheels damaged that they would've have fixed this hole... I cannot believe that TWO carbon wheels broke. They're 2-5 times stiffer than aluminum ones... Safe trips! Have fun!
The Shmee plates is just an Iconic thing on your cars. Its what makes you. I understand its super clean to not have the front plate but it fits the space really well!

Gotta say I'd be tempted to keep the Gumball sticker and the 150 on the side when it comes back to the UK... ...although I'd definitely be feeling a bit nervous about carbon wheels given what happened, especially at $7400 each for the fronts...
Pretty cool how some things come full circle. The Ford GT being built not far from Toronto in Markham and being able to use the GT500 in Gumball3000. Shmee owning two of Ford's flagship vehicles is pretty incredible as well as the absolute legends that helped him with the car to get it to Toronto for the start of the rally. I have tremendous respect for Shmee being a fan for over 10 years. I hope I can see you on your travels through Windsor. Safe travels to you Puppi and all of the Gumballers. Much love from Windsor. When you opted for the carbon wheels on the Zenvo I thought of Gordon Murray when he said he didn't put carbon wheels on the T50 because they basically explode when they fail. Glad you got it sorted though. What an awesome community we are! Roll on the Gumball!

Those carbon wheels are pretty strong, I always felt they would just shatter going through a pothole. But we have some even bigger craters and construction zone nightmares here in New York that might do the trick😁😁

This is so crazy. My wife took my Charger to come visit family in New England several years ago now, and a large pothole in the tunnel driving through Queens, NY cracked one of my 22” alloy wheels right down the center. I completely get it, have to be very mindful of those potholes in New York.

As a rideshare driver in the Hudson valley (which stretches from NYC to Albany) I have never seen so many potholes than this spring. I am not surprised Tim hit one and wrecked a wheel.
Tim's grabber lime green Ford Shelby GT500 in this year's Gumball 3000 Rally reminds me of his neon green McLaren 650S he used when he joined the 2015 Gumball 3000 Rally.
