Have you ever read Kant? Curious on any thoughts if you have I'm a former Christian but Kant's philosophy really undermined the world view needed to believe in an abrahamic style God. The more I've gotten into Buddhism (slowly) over the last few years the more I've noticed many of the metaphysics Buddhism has are strangely close to Kantian philosophy. Particularly zen more than others. Though of course Kantian philosophy is more prima facie palatable and digestible to people who've only grown up in the western philosophical tradition which is why I think the link could be interesting to explore. I was taught that the 2 truths were conventional and ultimate. If something performs a function it is a conventional truth but it is still empty of inherent existence which is ultimate truth...The middle way. Things exist but not in the way they appear...They seen to exist outside the mind but are just appearances to mind...Therefore we can say we have a body but not the inherently existing body that is apppearing to our mind. This multipe truths fiasco also comes from a misnunderstanding in Christian theology circles with concept of Big Truth and little truth. When I studied, I took this concept as you stated in your understanding of the truth is one. A lot of pastors out there still don't get it that there is ony one T and that the little t's should be left alone. Viva Ziggy!

There is no Truth ultimately speaking. Truth is a word and a concept. REALITY HAS NO WORDS OR CONCEPTS ATTACHED TO IT. Things are as they are without words and without concepts.

When talking about the gibson guitar you alluded to being born in the wrong body I assumed this was talking about people with Gender Dysphoria? let me know if I am wrong, but I think talking about Gender dysphoria in relation to a concept a singular truth doesn't work here, because Gender as a construct doesn't only exist in the objective facts of the material world nor strictly in our internal experience. What I mean is that there are two truths in this case, it is true that you can be a women and feel like a man, I think that understanding Gender would require an understanding of consciousness, gender is real because it requires the existence of a biological dichotomy, yet it can be unreal if you have never learned language. I guess to make my ramble short is that even is Gender dysphoria is a perceptual attribution error akin to temporal coupling of internal sensations of arousal from fear from standing on a bridge due to chating to an attractive lady on the middle of this bridge, which becomes interpreted as sexual arousal, I would therfore say that the PHENOMENOLOGY of gender dysphoria is real in that it exists as a perception of self, yet unreal in that it does not adhere to the epistemic fact of your biology, so this is how two truths exist, in this one specific example. I hope I didnt make assumptions here about what you were implying if there was one at all. I hope I didn't miss interpret you or put false statements in your mouth if so please correct me.

NPR receives very little federal funding, and its largest single source of funds is corporate sponsorships. It's second largest is the fees local stations pays, and many of them also receive the bulk of their funding from corporations, too. NPR is a mess, but so is all of U.S. media. The common denominator in yellow journalism isn't evil liberal bureaucrats. It's monied interests, just like it was back when we still called it yellow journalism.

I don't get it I'm afraid. If ultimate truth is unknowable, every expression i can find is just my personal take on it. So we are back at 8 billion truths. I understand that action is truth, but there's nothing to say about it.
