@@jul2447 a lot of artists (who might not use hand mics as much as mamamoo) will simply hold the mic in their hand and that hand/arm doesn't "dance", but mmm are so used to hand mics that their fingers can move and dance along. observe how solar's fingers open and close according to the choreo except for having 1 finger holding the mic so it doesn't fall out of her hand.

Honestly, if y'all watched the videos of Solar acapella singing their songs, I'm not surprised she's just used to memorising their song in full. What I gather is she loves acapella singing. Even the instrumentals. Which is what makes acapella what it is anyway, only using your mouth to make music and sounds. Solar's singing voice is heavenly, I could listen to it all day and night.

Seriously. Ever since I found Mamamoo, I've ONLY listened to Mamamoo. It's been almost 2 months now. I noticed I do feel much better and much happier listening to them, than listening to what's usually on the radio. And because I found them so late, I've got almost 10 years of Mamamoo songs to listen to, plus their solo stuff, plus the songs they did for shows/movies, AND Mamamoo+. They're the gift that keeps on giving.

It's showing you the reason Solar is singing everyone else's part also, they used headmics during the Hip promotions and it was torture for the cameraman because he couldn't track who was actually singing properly because Solar was singing along the entire song including the instrumentals and the other members would also sometimes sing along Ng just not nearly as much as her lol
It's because solar is singing the entire song,if they had those stupid uncomfortable mics,then the members would be miserable and solar would be heard through the entire song,the camera man would also be miserable.

MAMAMOO members always sing THE FULL SONG which is why they would rather just have handheld mics so that they can continue to sing the entire song. They love their music.

Actually if you watch their fancam you will see that all of Mamamoo have the habit of singing along when it's not their part. So It’s better for them to use the handheld mic so they can sing along and enjoy the music while performing

Solar is singing the entire time whether it’s her part or not so if they had headsets you’d hear her singing during the other members’ parts. Also dw it took me a while to get it too, idk why they didn’t put it in the video🤣
