Wait you mean like nowadays? Idk man seems like our country is slowly collapsing everyday and nothing is being down to stop it...we're past the point of no return
I AM an engineer. Machines makes the land produce faster, and better. Machines are the reason the west got in the top of the world, because of the industrial revolution. CEO 's (parasites) and lawyers aren't even close to being useful and impactful to engineers and doctors. Machines and healthcare are the backbone of a society.
I’m America we live in Glorified Poverty. Back in school I had an Indian teacher who used to tell us that we don’t live in the ghetto, we don’t know what a real ghetto is like, and where he grew up in India was an actual ghetto.
Americans make up less than 5% of the world’s population while earning more than 20% of the world’s total income however Despite these facts, one in 10 Americans still live in poverty. One in 7 Americans still goes to bed hungry every single night. One in 5 children won't know when their next meal will be. roughly 2-3% of American children don't have beds to sleep on. Approximately 700,000 children are sharing beds in America and 440,000 children are sleeping on the floor because they don't have a bed of their own. One in 12 parents (8%) said their children were 'tired all of the time' due to not having their own bed to sleep on. 1 in 6 American family's are behind on their electric and water bills. Nearly two-thirds of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. One in 10 Americans have no emergency savings. Nearly 52 million workers -- or almost one-third of the nation's labor force -- earn less than $15 an hour that's one in 3 Americans or 32% of Americas work force. When ranking child income poverty rates across 34 other develop nations from lowest to highest, the United States, by far has one of the highest rates of child poverty, ranking it almost dead last in 31st place. The United States, which is the richest country in the world, still has the highest poverty rate among other developed nations. Not to mention we work more than any other major developed countries on the whole entire planet. We work 137 hours more per year than the Japanese workers, we work 260 hours more per year than the UK workers. We also work 500 hours more per year than France workers and We work 400 hours more per year then the German workers. Not to mention The U.S. ranks last among industrialized countries relative to employee benefits like healthcare, paid leave, vacation days, unemployment and retirement, … so again tell me how America is still better off then our other developed pair nations around the world? And is this what we call the American dream I'm confused 🤔
@@Tiff-vi9kx they have to blame America 😅 that's all the politicians in those countries know how to do. They like to be activists instead of doing the actual work
idk bro, i got no college diploma, no gov aid, parents are immigrants and i’m of Latino decent. basically odds are pretty against me but i’ve got a job paying roughly 35/hr rn. me and the fam are improving year by year regardless of the economical circumstances currently. mind you, we were homeless when I was months old, my mom sold fruit in the streets. i sold water when i was only 9 years old with my cousin. started saving my bday money since I was 8 to help my mom pay rent and bills. my mom is still a house keeper but now speaks English. my sister has slaved in the hospitality for more than decade and now saved up enough to get into real estate at her own pace. we come from nothing bro. my mom who comes from Mexico was the only girl who went to school with no shoes, old worn clothes which had to be patched up to be able to wear and very abusive parents. she also has raised her brothers (6 in total) in her lifetime + her three children (my brother, sister and me). she’s has sacrificed her life to her family in order to improve. her own brothers have fucked her over to gain temporary gain but life does it’s thing. We are on our way to win. play your role, stay humble and have faith. literally this country is a land of opportunity regardless of the bullshit being fed to us. I’ve been working in restaurants since I was 15 and now earning more than most 30s year olds and I’m only 22. I had to get humiliated by classmates, co workers and strangers but we slowly winning baby. this mentality you just typed is some real bullshit. Just work hard and have faith
@@47ways2elevate wow what an eye opening and sincere story may God bless you and your family brother... you should be proud because you, your mother and sister all beat the odds and most of these bully's most definitely couldn't walk a mile in your shoes. Blessings and love I hope your family finds financial freedom
That's why I just don't understand how any American that says capitalism is bad. I know America is not perfect but I would not want to live in another country!!!!
Don't be fooled into thinking the free market is the solution. Love sharing is the only way. Unfortunately the hardest thing yo do is usually the right answer
Glad someone else's see through the propaganda . I live in California and there like 50 people living in boxs and yet they tell us everything is fine hospital are filled with fet ods . Yet they say this place is the best telling immigrants to come here while we lock up there children in cages
Very true. If you want to prosper, this is one of the best places to do so no matter your age, race, literacy, or any other difference. In many other countries, people are cast out of decent jobs for being any one of those things, and those in the jobs still barely make a living.
Except the democrats are making it more and more so no matter how hard you work, you’ll stay poor. Joe is trying to pass a bill that will tax how for every mile you drive. Also tax you extra on a house if you can put a down payment and have good credit
Are you being sarcastic? I don’t know where you’re getting your facts but I live in China and I see people in poverty all the time. The government fabricates statistics but it’s all cap. How can you make such a bold statement, 1.4 billion not one being in poverty. You sound ignorant 😅
