This is the first time I've seen a theory pertaining to Luffy's unknown bloody relations that I really loved. It doesn't take away from or ignore One Piece's themes of found family, while adding layers to the narrative, and all of it dovetails beautifully. This is my favorite theory I've heard from anyone in a long time, and one of my favorites over all. You're a criminally underrated voice in this community, and I hope this video surpasses 100k

Now my new excuse for Shanks losing his arm is that he saw it as a penance for trying to obtain the Nika-Nika fruit and end the old age. By sacrificing his arm for Luffy's sake he ensured that Luffy would be a 'good' pirate on his road to godhood and that he could never access his full power again, in order to avoid temptation of going to obtain the One Piece again, before all the other players were ready. Yorki being the man marked by flames is a wildly great idea. It would be much cleaner if that was someone we had already heard of and Yorki is one of the few people we know of from a flashback whose fate is unknown. When it comes to Robin I think its equally feasible that she could be Roger's daughter, because Roger having a connection to Ohara feels very appropriate. Either way I agree that Nico D Robin is almost certain to be the case.

Yorki being the MMBF would mean someone set up at the very start of Luffy's journey holds the key for the end of his journey. It's easy poetry. Gol D. Robin was a big theory when Ohara was happening weekly! Still okay with that one, too. But I think a lot of the dialogue with Roger and Rayleigh implies that Ace is Roger's only kid

@@RandyTroy I think the MMBF is (if it's Yorki) the former Warlord defeated by Ace (hence the name) whos spot then got offered to Kuma in his Flashback IIRC. The Warlords all had Animals in their Name and as you said Yorki could refer to a Yorkshire Terrier. Btw. if you have a moment, I'd like you to taste my meal and tell me if I'm cooking hot or cold on this: It's about Hina. She is related to Garps Family in some way, shape or form. (Could even be Luffy's Mum. Although she would've been ~15 on Luffy's Birth) Garp & Hina are talking way to casual with one another, esp. considering their Ranks. There's the Scene where they're talking about Rocks at a Dinner and she's sitting to his right which is a major seat in symbolism, esp. when Bogard isn't around. For the Mum-Theory I have found this so far: Oda said Mums are the opposite of Adventure. And to Oda going on an Adventure symbolizes Freedom. Another symbol for Freedom are Birds. And what did Oda drew? Hina as a Child (rare & suspicious enough on it's own) but he drew her next to a caged bird, so as if it's important that she always wanted to restrain someone from freedom. When she should chase Luffy in Arabasta, she was pretty casual about it, a bit like LA Garp, but when she found out that it was an Imposter, she got really mad. On Marineford, she half-heartedly threw a single attack at Luffy, he dodged and she just shruged, smiled and said something along the lines of "welp, guess he got away." or something like this. She wasn't even trying and haven't had her mean-face put on. Lastly, If she would've been 14/15 when she got Luffy, she would've been too young to care about Luffy, Dragon couldn't do it either as he was already gone and that's why Garp took over Luffy. Oh, and Hina and Luffy/Garp also have the same Blood-type. Sorry fro bringing this up, I'm sure I had more at some point, but I've never told this Theory before so I probably forgot something over the years^^

There's a thing I've never forgotten and always made me think... Kuma separating everyone in Sabaody. He starts by sending everyone to where they could best learn and improve their skills. But the final two seem mostly out of a certain convenience... Robin and Luffy. Truth be told Kuma may have just sent Robin to the Revolutionaries because they needed her and Luffy to Amazon Lily because nobody would ever search for him there. But after watching your video I really like the idea of Kuma sending Robin to her unknown father and Luffy to his unknown mother's "family". That and another thing... the image of Luffy reaching for Robin's hand and having them being separated again gains a whole lot more weight if they are indeed siblings.

I love this. So many strong connections. Whether or not Oda will explicitly state it in the main story, I am now very convinced his lineage goes back to Skypiea. I am not super sold that the weapon at Lulucia was water coming from below, but I have had the idea that maybe the knockup stream is the way of 'reloading' the weapon with fresh seawater to shoot those pressurized jets from above. @@RandyTroy the whole theory works on so many levels. I was surprised when you said Oda originally intended for Amazon Lily to be a final saga island but that just makes me so intrigued about the former pirate empress. As for Luffy's lineage and it's ties to Skypeia, I think it's a home run. Oda definitely has a lot of stuff he wanted to convey thematically through the Monkey family and the role they play in the overall story, so if he was still on his 5 year plan during Skypeia, he'd definitely try to intertwine the two as much as possible to save time. it would also be a great explanation for why luffy's mom has never been explicitly mentioned or even vaguely referenced despite Oda's notorious amount of planning and foreshadowing. bonus points for highlighting the 'montblanc usopp' theory, i'm a big fan of that one. someone else's comment said usopp and luffy dancing could be a good way to show Noland and Kalgara's descendants still kicking it generations later and i really really enjoyed that touch. great theory Randy! Can't wait for you to read the one piece tea leaves again and reveal the Cross Guild's master plan to us

This is my new favorite One Piece video. I'm a huge Skypiea fan who always tries to convince my friends that it is the most important arc lol. I've always love the Luffy is part Shandorian theory (I even have volume 27 in my college dorm room... but that's also because I like the priests). A lot of cool things I didn't know in here too since I mostly just reread Skypiea over and over and over, I don't look too much into mythology or outside sources. Thanks for making me love my favorite arc even more. Also love hearing about other lineage theories! I really hope we do get more on Yorkie in the story, his design is so cool. Whenever you say Gloriosa's name, I am reminded of your 1096 stream when you realize the empress on God Valley is Gloriosa. Probably my favorite stream moment lol. also remember seto? yes 😭

Hi. This is like a second video I watched from you (first was the Law being a sword member one) and first time leaving comment. Just wanted to say that I really respect all the effort and in-depth analysis you put in. I do feel like two things could be improved and I mean it in best way possible (which is to encourage) so perhaps your videos can gain views more easily. First thing is video editing style (personally, all the "wows" rub me the wrong way and make me irritated, kinda the same result as when Law interacts with Kid), and the second one: please include also counterarguments (this one is mostly about Law being the sword member). It's easy to prove a theory if you never put any proof showing the opposite. Btw, do you take requests for topics? Would you care to take a challenge to solve the 13 strawhats theory floating around? Especially the one including the infamous 13 cats at the kotatsu picture. Or do you keep some of the secrets you figured out just to yourself, not to spoil all the fun for others? :D if you already did a vid on something similar then I apologize, my excuse is that I'm new here on your channel XD
